SAN JOSE, Calif. Alvaro Morata Jersey . -- Tuukka Rask bounced back from a rare rough patch to salvage a win for the Boston Bruins on their California swing. Rask made 26 saves for his NHL-leading fifth shutout two nights after being knocked out early, and the Bruins got a third-period goal from Carl Soderberg to beat the San Jose Sharks 1-0 on Saturday night. "That was Bruins hockey," said Rask, who gave up three goals in less than 22 minutes in a loss at Los Angeles on Thursday. "Thats how we get points in this league. Sometimes we slip from it but today was a great example of how we need to play in order to get points. Im really happy with the effort." Rask gave up eight goals on the first two games of the trip as the Bruins were outscored 9-4 in losses at Anaheim and Los Angeles. But they rebounded in San Jose to sweep the season series and hand the Sharks just their second home loss in regulation all season. Soderberg broke the tie with 7:35 remaining at the end of a broken play when Loui Erikssons shot was blocked by Scott Hannan. Soderberg got the loose puck and knocked it past Antti Niemi for his sixth goal to salvage the finale of Bostons three-game California swing. "A goals a goal in this league," Boston coach Claude Julien said. "You get some tough ones that go against you so every once in a while its good to have some go for you. Thats the breaks of the game, and sometimes you have to make them yourself." Niemi made 21 saves for the Sharks, who had their six-game home winning streak snapped and were shut out at home for the first time since Feb. 9, 2013, in a shootout loss to Phoenix. "Both teams werent giving up too much," captain Joe Thornton said. "One shot in the third period made all the difference. Both goalies did an excellent job. When you do get a good chance they were there to block it." Niemi kept the Sharks in the game shortly after Soderbergs goal when he made a strong stop on a backhand by Brad Marchand but the Sharks couldnt get anything past Rask on 26 shots. The game featured a pair of goalies who will be teammates for Finland at the Olympics next month. Rask and Niemi both made a case for the starting gig by stopping 47 of the 48 shots. "I dont think either one had to be really unbelievable," Rask said. "Both teams played tight defence and we just scored that one goal that have us the win. It wasnt about showing off." Neither goalie faced too many good scoring chances in a tight opening two periods that featured one power-play chance for each side and a brief fight between Bostons Kevan Miller and San Joses Mike Brown. The Sharks looked disjointed on their power-play chance in the first period with Soderberg off for boarding, getting only one shot on goal during the man advantage. San Joses best two chances in the opening two periods came from Joe Pavelski, who was stopped by Rask on a redirection in the first period and then again midway through the second right in front of the net following a good pass from Thornton. The Bruins came the closest to scoring in the first two periods on their power play with Scott Hannan off for holding. Patrice Bergeron got the puck in front and slid a shot past Niemi that hit the post. The Bruins ended the second on the power play when Patrick Marleau was called for high-sticking with 1 second remaining in the period. But Boston couldnt convert on that chance or another one early in the third when Jason Demers got called for holding. The Bruins fell to 0-for-13 on the power play in their last five games. "It was tight from the very beginning all the way to the end," Sharks coach Todd McLellan said. "There was playoff-type checking. The top two lines neutralized each other and it came down to puck luck and the bounce went to their skate. Theres nothing to hang our heads over." NOTES: Bruins D Johnny Boychuk flew home for personal reasons. ... Boston F Shawn Thornton returned from a 15-game suspension for slew-footing Pittsburghs Brooks Orpik to the ice and punching him twice. Thornton was retaliating for a hit on Eriksson, who also returned Saturday after missing 15 games from a concussion in that game. ... San Jose D Matt Irwin missed his second straight game with an upper-body injury. Pedro Rodriguez Spain Jersey . The Maple Leafs may not have had a pick until the third round, but they have made the biggest move of the second day of the Draft, dealing defenceman Carl Gunnarsson and a fourth-round pick in the draft to the St. David de Gea Spain Jersey . Ozuna hit Reeds 2-2 pitch off the batters eye far above the 407-foot sign in straightaway centre. It was the fifth blown save in 25 tries for Reed (1-5) and the ninth home run the closer has allowed in 38 appearances. Nuno, acquired in the deal that sent Brandon McCarthy to the New York Yankees, gave up three hits, struck out a career-high seven and walked one in seven innings. http://www.soccerspainonline.com/Isco-UEFA-European-Spain-Jersey/ . By then it was clear: The 76ers were going to win for the first time in two months, and they were going to do it with ease. The 76ers snapped their NBA record-tying, 26-game losing streak, routing the Detroit Pistons 123-98 on Saturday night to avoid establishing the longest skid in U.Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - A rare Saturday matinee and a trip to American Airlines Center wasnt enough to slow down the best team in basketball. Three Warriors scored 20-plus points for the first time this season and Golden State extended its franchise-best win streak to 15 with a wire-to-wire 105-98 road victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Steph Curry scored a game-high 29 points, Klay Thompson had 25 and Draymond Green netted 20 for the Warriors, who last had three players drop 20 points or more on April 1, 2013, in a 122-120 win over the Mavs. 15 wins in a row, its hard to fathom, said Thompson. This is a special group. The Warriors improved to 20-2 on the season. They havent lost since Nov. 11. Monta Ellis led Dallas with 24 points and Dirk Nowitzki had 23. Richard Jefferson, in his first start of the season, added 13 points and 13 rebounds. I love Jefferson, I love the way he plays, offered Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle. He plays with a lot of force. The 3s were falling early for Golden State. Thompson hit a pair and Curry drained a stepback to help the Warriors to a 15-5 lead less than four minutes in. The lead kept growing, with Curry following his deep 3 with a no-look pass to Shaun Livingston for a layup that pushed the spread to 30-13. Curry put the finishing touches on a dominant first quarter with an acrobatic lefty layup in transition and a corner 3 with under a minute to play. His stepback 3--point try at the buzzer missed short, but he still dropped 13 and the Warriors led 39-18. http://www.soccerspainonline.com/Gerard-Pique-UEFA-European-Spain-Jersey/. Weve got to be all there from the very beginning until the very end, said Carlisle. The first quarter did us in. The lead grew to 28 before a mini rally late in the half had Dallas within 22, 66-44, at halftime. An 11-1 Dallas run made things interesting early in the third. Tyson Chandlers alley-oop from Ellis near the midpoint of the period had Dallas within 13 before a 3 1/2 minute scoring drought plagued the hosts. Green made five free throws and Curry got a runner to fall as Golden State restored its 20-point lead. The Warriors went cold late in the game, and Brandan Wright scored seven of Dallas points during a 11-0 run that made it 100-92. After Thompson made two free throws, Ellis hit a 3 and Dallas was within seven. But it was too little too late. Currys free throws with 39 seconds left proceeded a Jae Crowder missed 3-pointer, as the Warriors held on. Game Notes Golden State is the 12th team in NBA history to start 20-2 and first since the 2008-09 Celtics ... The Warriors have held every opponent under 50 percent shooting this season ... Green had one 20-point game in his first two NBA seasons. He has five already in 2014-15 ... Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons missed the game with lower back soreness ... Dallas shot 5-for-25 from behind the arc. NFL Jerseys China ' ' '
