ANAHEIM, Calif. DeAndre Carter Jersey . -- Dallas Keuchel got plenty of sleep, did extra cardio work and stayed constantly hydrated over the last few days to prepare for his start on a scorching afternoon. After all that work, not even the majors most productive offence could keep Keuchel from a dominant victory for the Houston Astros. Keuchel took a no-hit bid into the seventh inning, and the Astros ended the Los Angeles Angels 10-game winning streak with a 6-1 victory Sunday. Keuchel (11-9) faced the minimum 21 batters from the major league-leading Angels through seven innings on a rare 100-degree day at the Big A, overpowering a lineup that has scored a big league-best 728 runs. "I did the necessary precautions during the week to get myself ready for a day like this," Keuchel said. "I knew it was going to be hot, (so) I was just trying to take care of my body, and getting a bunch of rest and staying hydrated. Thats all you can do, and then hope to do your job well." The left-hander yielded three late hits, giving up David Freeses RBI single in the eighth on his 114th and final pitch. Mike Trouts one-out single in the seventh was the first hit for the Angels, who fell one victory short of matching the longest winning streak in franchise history, set during the clubs fourth season in 1964. Los Angeles (93-56) is cruising toward its first AL West title since 2009. The Angels scored 86 runs during their winning streak while running away with the division lead, but their hot run ended on a stifling day in Orange County. "Weve been swinging the bat great, and today we were having great at-bats," Trout said. "But sometimes youre going to run into a guy thats throwing strikes and keeping us off-balance." Keuchel, who fell one out shy of a shutout at Anaheim in May, is a consummate ground-ball pitcher who has emerged as one of the ALs best left-handers in his third big league season. Throwing strikes and forcing repeated groundouts, he retired the first 15 Angels before Chris Iannetta drew a full-count walk leading off the sixth. "Hes a competitor," Houston interim manager Tom Lawless said. "Hes not giving in. He can get behind in the count, but when his sinker is going ... he can shut them down, changing speeds and moving the ball around." Gregorio Petit hit a three-run homer, Robbie Grossman added a two-run single and Jake Marisnick had three hits for the Astros, who have won nine of 13. Hector Santiago (5- couldnt get an out in the third inning of his first loss in 13 starts and three relief appearances since June 15. Los Angeles lost for the first time since Sept. 4, also against Houston. The Angels magic number for clinching the AL West stayed at four with Oaklands win at Seattle. Santiago gave up five hits and five walks, including just the second homer of Petits 51-game career into the bullpen in left. "It was actually a pretty good pitch," Santiago said. "I went back and watched it, and it was down and in. But it was a 3-1 count, and I had to throw a fastball for a strike. He was probably cheating, and he got it." DROPPING IN Lawless hated to see Keuchels no-hit bid end on Trouts hit: "Just a broken-bat, lazy blooper that found the Bermuda Triangle out there," he said. ASTRONAUT WOLOWITZ Actor Simon Helberg from CBS "The Big Bang Theory" filmed a scene for an upcoming episode of televisions top-rated sitcom on the Angel Stadium field before the game. The joke involved a working model of the Mars Rover attempting to throw out the first pitch. TRAINERS ROOM Astros: RHP Brad Peacock has been scratched from Mondays game against Cleveland with back soreness. Angels: Josh Hamilton still hasnt played since Sept. 4, but the cleanup hitter feels improvement in his injured shoulder. UP NEXT: Astros: Collin McHugh (9-9, 2.79) will move up one day to start in Peacocks place at home. Angels: Matt Shoemaker (15-4, 3.16) looks to extend his franchise rookie record for victories. Dylan Cole Jersey .J. -- Having Ondrej Pavelec earn his 100th NHL win and seeing Mark Scheifele and Evander Kane break goal droughts were nice highlights for the Winnipeg Jets. In what would have been a matchup of the last two NBA MVPs, Durant was the only one to play as Clevelands LeBron James sat out with left knee discomfort. Westbrook paced the Thunder with 26 points to go along with eight assists and Durants 19 points closed out their fourth straight win. Kyrie Irving had to pick up the offensive load with James on the bench, and he accounted for 20 points on 7-of-21 shooting. Kevin Love netted 18 points with 16 rebounds for the Cavs, who had their eight-game winning streak halted. Final Score: Houston 113, Sacramento 109 Sacramento, CA (SportsNetwork. Harden scored a season-high 44 points to lead the Rockets in a 113-109 decision over the Sacramento Kings. Harden, who scored 34 points in a loss to Golden State on Wednesday, sent the game to overtime with a deep 3-pointer, then scored the first 10 Houston points in the extra session. Trevor Ariza and Patrick Beverley each netted 15 points and Donatas Motiejunas added 14 points for Houston, which has won five of its last six. MONTREAL -- The Montreal Impact wasted no time cooling off the hottest team in Major League Soccer. [url=http://www.cheapcoltsje

MONTREAL -- The Montreal Impact wasted no time cooling off the hottest team in Major League Soccer. JMarcus Webb Jersey . Montreal needed just three minutes to score the winner against a streaking New England club, shutting out the Revolution 2-0 on Saturday night at Saputo Stadium. New England (7-4-2) came to Montreal riding a five-game winning streak, their longest such run in nearly a decade. The team was unbeaten in its last seven contests atop the Eastern Conference standings. But with fans still trickling in to their seats after the opening whistle, midfielder Andres Romero scored the Impacts quickest goal of the season in the third minute to give last-place Montreal (2-6-4) a surprise lead. Romero took a long through ball from striker Marco Di Vaio and moved in all alone on goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth. With Revolution defenders requesting an offside call on the play, Romero held onto the ball several seconds before beating the keeper for his career-high third goal of the season. "We came out, we dominated, and we did exactly what we wanted to do," said Jack McInerney, who played up front with Di Vaio in a seldom seen two-striker formation. Montreal followed the early goal with sustained pressure. Its emphasis on the long ball created several goal-scoring opportunities in the first half hour. "We had a stronger start than they did," said defender Wandrille Lefevre. "That made a world of difference. We controlled the ball and it allowed us to ease into the game." Many of the Impacts scoring chances fell to Di Vaio, who couldnt find the back of the net despite taking four shots on target in the first half. Di Vaio came close in the 17th minute when his strike from outside the 18-yard box missed the net by inches. A minute later, Di Vaios volley from close range was stopped by Shuttleworth. In the 26th minute, the Italian striker moved in alone on goal, but tripped and fell. The Impact took eight shots on target in the first half to New Englands one. "You have to credit the other team because they came flying," said Revolution coach Jay Heaps. "In this league, you cant give a team anything. We gave quite a bit to Montreal, and they took it. Montreal did an excellent job of taking advantage of our slow start and they were ready." Frank Klopas men doubled their lead in the 31st minute after an impressive individual effort by newcomer Issey Nakajima-Farran, who made his Saputo Stadium debut after being acquired from Toronto FC two weeks ago. The left-winger cut into the middle of the pitch and fired a powerful strike at Shuttleworth, who bobbled the ball. McInerney pounced on the rebound from the edge of the six-yard box for his fifth goal against New England in 10 career appearances. Although he wasnt credited with an assist on the goal, Nakajima-Farran was instrumental on the play for the Impact. "It just clicks," said Nakajima-Farran, who played at the club level in Denmark, Australia, and Cyprus before making the move to Major League Soccer. "Everybody is playing simple, and the ball is zipping around. I feel conformable, and the guys know my movement too. Its been a very easy transition." Coming into this one with just one win on the season, seven points from 11 games, and a league-worst goal differential, the Impacts stingy defending settled a hot team that had scored 12 goals in its last three games. The Revolution couldnt generate much offence on Saturday despite controlling the ball for long stretches. Rookie forward Patrick Mullins, who entered the game with a goal in four consecutive contests, an MLS record for a rookie, was limited to just one shot on target. And 19-year-old Diego Fagundez, who scored four times on New Englands winning streak, did not challenge goalie Troy Perkins once. "It wasnt our best stuff," said Heaps, whose Revs still top the Eastern Conference despite the loss. "It was one of those nights where every pass was a little bit off. It didnt have the same zip to it. To break a team down, you have to have things go your way a little bit. You have to credit a team when they do a good job." At the other end of the table, the win keeps Montreal at the bottom of the standings, but the team is now only six points out of a playoff spot. "The first couple of games of the season didnt show the kind of talent we have on this team, and what we can do," said McInerney. "If we want to get back into the picture, we need to be consistent." The Impact now turn their attention to a mid-week battle versus Toronto FC on Wednesday for the second leg of the Amway Canadian Championship final. The winner advances to the CONCACAF Champions League. (SportsNetwork. Joe Thomas Womens Jersey .com) - The start of a quick Florida tour for the Washington Wizards didnt go as planned and theyll try again for their first win of the season Thursday against the Orlando Magic at Amway Center. The Wizards opened the season with Wednesdays 107-95 loss to the Miami Heat in their first game without superstar LeBron James. The Heat didnt miss a beat, at least for one night, and were led by Chris Boshs 26 points and 15 rebounds. Norris Cole and Dwyane Wade scored 23 and 21 points, respectively. Drew Gooden and Marcin Gortat scored 18 points apiece, while Paul Pierce added 17 points in his Washington debut. The Wizards struggled on the boards (44-36) and havent won a season opener since Oct. 27, 2009 against Dallas. I think we lost that game on rebounds, on the boards, Gortat said. We should fight a bit harder and stay a bit more focused on everything we do. ... Weve just got to regroup and get the game tomorrow. John Wall ended with 16 points and 11 assists for the Wizards, who were outscored by a 35-25 measure in the fourth quarter and were without guard Bradley Beal (wrist) and forwards Nene and DeJuan Blair. Both big men were serving a one-game suspension for a preseason incident and should be back Thursday. Kris Humphries is a new face in DC and shook off a balky hand to post four points in just over 13 minutes. Otto Porter led the team in scoring during the preseason with 13.0 points per game, his exact point total against Miami. Wall averaged career-highs in points (19.4 ppg), assists (8.8 apg), field goal percentage (.433) and 3-point percentage (.351) last season. He led the NBA in total assists with 721. Washington was a playoff team last season and is a favorite to win the Southeast Division now that James is in Cleveland. The Wizards could be down 0-2 on the season and in division play after Thursdays game in Orlando. The Wizards will open their home schedule Saturday versus Milwaukee. Orlando lost its season opener Tuesday, 101-84, to Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans. Davis was outstanding and finished with 26 points, 17 rebounds and nine blocks. The Magic were led by Tobias Harris, who scored 25 points on 9-of-18 shooting. Nikola Vucevic was a beast on the boards with 23 to go along with 15 points for Orlando, which shot 38.1 percent and committed 18 turnovers for 27 New Orleans points. The toughest part for Orlando was allowing 26 offensive boards. Magic rookie guard Elfrid Payton started the game at the point with second- year PG Victor Oladipo nursing a facial fracture. Payton had four points and seven assists. It was great to get out there and play in front of family and friends, said Payton, a Louisiana native. It gives you a lot of confidence. Aaron Gordon, Orlandos other first-round draft pick, had 11 points off the bench Not much is expected from the Magic this season and theyre aiming for a sixth straight win in their home opener. Orlando will host Toronto Saturday. The Magic lost all four meetings with Washington last season, but are 10-3 in the previous 13 encounters in central Florida. Orlando leads the all-time series, 63-37. Custom Cleveland Browns Jerseys . Listen to the Raptors vs. Jazz live tonight on TSN Radio 1050 at 9pm et/6pm pt. WINNIPEG -- They put points on the board, now the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have to put fans back in the seats as they opened the CFL season with a convincing 45-21 win over the Toronto Argonauts Thursday night. It was a welcome change from the past couple of seasons as they dominated the Argos on both sides of the ball, although coach Mike OShea said they made enough mistakes to show more work needs to be done. Drew Willys debut as Winnipegs starting quarterback was nothing short of stunning for fans who have known little but disappointment the last two seasons. He threw four touchdown passes. "He just ran a good game. The No. 1 thing quarterbacks have to do, what theyre in charge of, is winning," said OShea. "He went out there and he helped win the game for us." OShea said it probably surprised some people. Willy had started only four games and won just one as a backup in Saskatchewan for the last two seasons. But the players, including Willy, said they werent surprised. The team has changed a lot from the one that went 3-15 last season. "I kind of thought I could do it but Im a confident guy," said Willy. "I knew if I went through my reads and did everything possible things would go right . . . We got off to a good start. It was nice on the first drive to score." Even Argos head coach Scott Milanovich praised Willys efforts on the field. "They protected the passer well and Drew made the throws that were there," Milanovich said. "Give him a lot of credit, that was an excellent first start for him." Aaron Kelly at wide receiver caught two of those touchdown passes as he opened his first full season with the Bombers with a 100-yard game. "Im going to change his name, Big Play Kelly," said OShea, who saw in a game what Kelly showed in camp. He joined the Bombers midway through last season. "I feel Ive got a good opportunity here," said Kelly, who entered his fourth season in the CFL and won an opener for the first time. He spent 2011 and 2012 with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. "I worked hard to win the starting spot here and just wanted to come out and start fast and help the team win." Penalties crippled the Argos, who had 22 to just seven for the Bombers, and 16 in the first half alone. OShea said they were a huge part of the game and noted one of Winnipegs, for too many men, led to one of Torontos touchdowns. Milanovich said his team needs to learn from the misttakes it made on the field Thursday. Sheldrick Redwine Browns Jersey. "Theres three things we point to that win or lose football games: protecting the football, penalties, and protecting the quarterback, and we lost every phase of that ..." Milanovich said. "We simply cant win with that many penalty flags." After a couple of poor seasons, Winnipeg has some work to do to bring back the crowds at Investors Group Field. There were almost 9,000 empty seats Thursday night and at 24,872, only barely beat the 24,000 who attended the Bombers pre-season tilt against the Argos three weeks ago. Bombers president Wade Miller could be seen walking through the stands personally greeting fans Thursday night. "As much as the players that have been here the last few years need this win, so did the fans and our players appreciate that," said OShea. "This community needs this. The players needs to understand that its bigger than them too." Cory Watson caught another touchdown pass, backup quarterback Robert Marve ran for a fourth, and defensive back Demond Washington carried a fumble in for a fifth. Canadian receiver Julian Feoli-Gudino, a former Argo, made it six with a seven-yard catch in the fourth quarter. CFL rookie running back Nic Grigsby ran for 122 yards on 21 carries for the Bombers. A 77-yard return by Brendan Smith set up Torontos only touchdown in the first half when Ricky Ray hit Jason Barnes for nine yards. They got another on a five-yard pass to Jeremiah Johnson in the second and picked up a single on a kick. Chad Owens carried a kick back 83 yards late in the second half for another Toronto touchdown to make it 45-21. Marves touchdown was set up by a successful pass interference challenge from coach Mike OShea, payback for a similar challenge from Toronto coach Scott Milanovich in their exhibition game June 6, the first time the new league rule saw action. Torontos defence couldnt put any serious pressure on Willy for much of the game and their offence was hammered by the Bombers, with sacks, forced fumbles, and intercepted or blocked passes. Ray and Willy both threw 12 for 18 in the first half but Willy turned that into 246 yards and three touchdowns. Ray had to settle for 141 and one. Willy finished the game going 19 for 27 for 305 yards to Rays 27 for 38 and 283. Trevor Harris came in for Ray late in the second half and Brian Brohm replaced Willy, although Willy returned for a few plays after Owens touchdown. (SportsNetwork. Ken Crawley Jersey .com) - The St. Louis Rams hope they saved some points from their previous win and will visit the Washington Redskins Sunday at FedEx Field. The Rams annihilated the lowly Oakland Raiders, 52-0, at home this past weekend and took advantage of five turnovers by the visiting team, including a 43-yard interception return for a touchdown by Trumaine Johnson. All three phases worked in St. Louis favor and the team rode the legs of Tre Mason, who ran for a season-high 117 yards and two scores. He had an 89-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and posted just his second 100-yard game of the season. Mason also scored on a 35-yard screen pass. We practiced with a purpose, we met with a purpose, Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said. Weve been doing that all year long. It all just came together for us today. St. Louis improved to 5-7 and has rotated wins over the past eight games. Veteran quarterback Shaun Hill made his third start since replacing rookie Austin Davis and threw for 183 yards with two touchdowns on 13-of-22 passing. Hill won his only career start against the Redskins as a member of San Francisco in 2008. Oakland used two quarterbacks after rookie Derek Carr was intercepted twice and passed for 173 yards. Matt Schaub came on in relief and was intercepted, completing 5-of-9 attempts for 57 yards. Johnson had two interceptions and was excited for his pick-six. This is my first pick six, Johnson said. I scored and forgot what it was like to be in the end zone. My celebration was trash, but Im just glad I caught it and put some points up for our team. E.J. Gaines posted the other interception for the Rams, who recorded six sacks, three of which by Robert Quinn. Quinn has nine sacks on the season and is 10 shy of matching his 2013 total. The Rams are on the road, where they have lost two in a row and four of the last five games. Washington is a dismal 3-9 this season and mired in a four-game losing streak. It will play three of four games at home to close the season. The Redskins made a statement by benching franchise quarterback Robert Griffin III after a 17-13 loss at San Francisco. The move to Colt McCoy produced some numbers, but it wasnt enough to overcome Sundays 49-27 loss in Indianapolis. McCoy threw for a career-high 392 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in his second start of the season, and Jordan Reed was his favorite target. Reed caught nine passes for 123 yards and DeSean Jackson finished with five receptions for 84 yards and a score. Wide receiver Santana Moss recorded his first reception of the season in the second quarter, gaining 13 yards. Players have to start stepping up and taking some accountability at some point, Redskins coach Jay Gruden said. Weve got to do a better job coaching, thats all I can say. The Colts had 487 total yards to Washingtons 425. Ryan Kerrigan posted the lone sack for the Redskins and has 9 1/2 this season. He also posted the 13th forced fumble of his career for the Redskins, who had three takeaways for the second straight week. Washingtons defense has seen better days and is ninth in rushing yards allowed (102., 11th in total yards (344.0), 15th in passing yards (241.2) and 27th in points allowed (26.. The Redskins are 14th in sacks (28.0) and 29th in interceptions (5). I think everybody in our room works hard, Redskins defensive back Ryan Clark said. I love these dudes. I like the guys I work with. I love the way they work. I love the way they prepare, but you got to bring it to the grass and we need to bring it to the grass as a group. The Redskins lead the all-time series with the Rams, 24-12-1, but have lost four of the past six meetings between the two teams. St. Louis won the latest installment of this series by recording a 31-28 win on Sept. 16, 2012. RG3 passed for 206 yards with a TD and an INT, and also ran for 82 yards and two scores. Alfred Morris posted 89 yards on 16 carries in defeat. Washington is 11-5 all-time in regular season home games against the Rams. WHAT TO WATCH FOR The Redskins are 10th and 11th, respectively, in passing yards (260.5) and total yards (370.2) this season. The Rams are allowing 245.2 passing yards and 356.3 total yards on defense, so this could turn out to be a win for the hosts. St. Louis sacked the Raiders six times and Quinn led the way. Now he gets to face McCoy, who was sacked six times on Sunday and 11 times in three appearances this season. Quinn has nine sacks and four forced fumbles in his last seven games. McCoy and the Redskins are closing out the season with pride and effort. We have unity. We have good guys in that locker room. We have good coaches and we know this isnt how the season, this isnt how we drew it up, McCoy said. But we all still have a lot of pride and certainly in that receivers group, theres a lot of pride. So I can be better and I think we all can be better. And we just have to continue to grind and continue to improve. The most important thing is to find a way to get a win. Were going back home this week, so Ill put my best foot forward and keep going. Speaking of the receivers, wide receiver Pierre Garcon surpassed 5,000 career receiving yards and Jackson posted his 400th career reception. Jackson eclipsed 7,000 career receiving yards and is a deep threat for the Skins. He has 10 catches for 40 or more yards this season, and is nursing a leg bruise. Jackson has faced St. Louis twice in his career as an Eagle, posting 12 receptions for 208 yards and a touchdown. Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather suffered a sprained toe and his status for Sunday is unknown. Other defensive players who sustained injuries against the Colts were cornerback Chase Minnifield, linebacker Will Compton and defensive lineman Kedric Golston. Gruden said its not looking good for Meriweather to play this week. Golston could be out with both a back and foot ailment. St. Louis hopes to run up the score on Washington like it did versus Oakland, and can take advantage of a nicked-up Redskins defense. Mason will face a Washington defense allowing just over 100 yards a game. The Colts had 126 rushing yards on Sunday and Dan Herron had 88 yards and a TD on eight touches. Mason is riding a strong wave from the Oakland game and will try to carry it over into FedEx Field. I want to be the best player to ever touch a football, and thats what Im heading after, Mason said. Thats a goal of mine. While those aspirations may be a bit far-fetched, Mason should have similar numbers Sunday. My mindset is that if Ive done it once, why not do it again? Mason said. I told myself coming into the league to be the best, to be the greatest. And Im trying to do it. Mason leads NFC rookies with 562 rushing yards and has led the Rams in rushing in all eight games played. Rams defensive end Chris Long returned against the Raiders after suffering an ankle injury in Week 1. Long had a sack and his coach is happy hes back. Its great to get him back. Hes not 100 percent yet, but I brought him back just to get him off my rear end, Fisher said. He was just wearing me out to come back and play. Chris understands the game, he plays with leverage, hes a good run defender. Its great to get on the board from a sack standpoint. OVERALL ANALYSIS Shutting out the Raiders in blowout fashion was no fluke by the Rams, but theyve struggled on the road all season. The Rams are out of the playoff mix and would like to end the season on a positive note with high expectations for 2015. And so would the Redskins. With a new QB in tow for a second straight week, the home team has the edge in this one. Gruden liked the way McCoy competed against a tough Indy squad and had admiration for his QB, which has been rare this season. Colt competed, Gruden said. There are some things I wish we would have done differently, play calls and execution-wise, but I feel like he competed and did a nice job out there. Washingtons defense may be banged up a bit, so its up to McCoy, Morris and some talented receivers to keep team pride intact. But what did we glean across four days of action at a chilly Emirates Riverside as both sides donned beanies on their balconies and a few players secured some notable numbers…Magic milestones We look at how England captain Alastair Cook has reached 10,000 Test runs Alastair Cook notched his 10,000th Test run, becoming the first English player and youngest man overall do so, though not as early as everyone expected. With 20 runs needed at the start of the game, Cook fell five short in his first innings, and when Sri Lanka were forced to follow on, it looked as if the left-hander would have to wait another week and reach the milestone at Lords. Not so. Cook, understated as ever, ended the talking early in front of a sparse fourth-day crowd as he quickly scored the five required on his way to an unbeaten 47. It wasnt just a Test to remember for Cook, though, with Sri Lanka spinner Rangana Herath ending his equally long-awaited quest for 300 Test wickets with the caught and bowled dismissal of Steven Finn and Jimmy Andersons eight wickets in the Test taking him past 450 Test scalps.Highs and lows with the ball Michael Holding and Sir Ian Botham discuss the impact of James Anderson following England’s series victory against Sri Lanka While Anderson (8-94) starred again, it was a mixed bag for the rest of Englands attack. Stuart Broad took 4-40 in the first innings, enjoying further success on the same surface he took 11 wickets on when England beat Australia in the last Test played in Durham in 2013, but he was conspicuous by his absence with 22 wicketless overs in the second before earning a solitary strike late on.Chris Woakes bowled well and with good pace on his return in place of the injured Ben Stokes, taking 3-9 in Sri Lankas opening dig and deserving more reward than 2-103 in their second, but Steven Finn struggled for speed and rhythm for a second straight Test, match figures of 1-93 reflecting that. Moeen Ali, meanwhile, produced a beauty to beat Lahiru Thirimannes outside edge and rock back off stump, but that was it for his 32 overs.Magnificent Moeen Moeen Ali hit an attractive 155 not out for England Moeen had a much better time of it with the bat, hitting an unbeaten 155 to record his second Test hundred, two years on from his first against the same opposition. Javorius Allen Jersey. That was a battling 281-ball effort at Headingley with England looking to cling on for a draw, but this was the left-hander at his flamboyant and fluent best, Moeen flaying the ball to the boundary regularly with effortless ease. The Worcestershire player had disappeared for an eight-ball duck in the first Test and with only one fifty to his name in his previous 17 Test innings, his place in the side may have been under threat. Yet, his glittering display in Durham from the No 7 berth - Stokes absence ensuring he was shunted up a spot - has raised the question as to whether he should earn a permanent promotion.Sri Lankan steel Dinesh Chandimals ton was his first outside of Asia The second Test seemed to be following a similar narrative to Englands thumping win at Headingley a few days prior, as Cooks boys skittled Sri Lanka for 101 in their first innings and enforced the follow on, but an unlikely and spirited fightback from the visitors took the Test to four days and forced England to bat again, Sri Lanka setting the hosts 79 to win after posting a second-innings 475.Dinesh Chandimals 126 - the right-handers sixth Test ton but first outside of Asia - was the highlight, but the gritty Kaushal Silva (60 from 145) blunted Englands new-ball threat and Angelo Mathews smashed 80 from 105 balls, before Herath (61) batted like Brian Lara during a 116-run stand with Chandimal for the seventh wicket.Durhams Test future Bob Willis and Rob Key discuss the Test-match bidding process Debate was rife during the Test as to not only whether the Chester-le-Street venue was deserving of its Test cricket status but also if Durham could afford to maintain it. Grim overcast conditions and cold temperatures across all four days made it a tough sell and crowds were slim on both the first and fourth days. But those same stands were full to capacity for the Saturday and Sunday in between, showing there is sufficient interest in the North East for England cricket. It might be, though, that its international future is with white-ball cricket more than red, even if Englands six Test wins from six at the stadium could convince decision makers otherwise.Watch the third Investec Test between England and Sri Lanka, at Lords, from 10am on Thursday, June 9 on Sky Sports 2. For those six Canadian franchises- or the 43%- this season was marked by disappointment, collapses and rebuilds. Mark Fields Jersey .Here quick season recaps of the teams that are entering golf season early, even if there still is snow on the ground. The Ottawa Senators entered last season with a label of being a rebuilding team that wouldnt reach the playoffs. To the surprise of many, the Senators entered the playoffs as a seventh seed and upset the Canadiens in the first round 4-1.This season, the expectations for the Senators were lofty, they lost captain Daniel Alfredsson but acquired Bobby Ryan and star defenceman Erik Karlsson was given a clean bill of health. Yet, the Senators failed live up the level of performance theyd produced the previous season and were removed from the playoff race shortly after the trade deadline. Some would say the Sens just werent ready to fight for it.GIF credit: TumblrThe Toronto Maple Leafs 2013 playoff run gave hope to fans that the future was bright for the team. Add a new starting goaltender in Jonathan Bernier and two veteran grinders, David Clarkson and Dave Bolland, and it seemed the Leafs were ready to surge beyond the first round of the playoffs. Yet, the Leafs game 7 collapse against the Bruins in 2013 turned out be a microcosm of the 2013-2014 campaign.Sitting a safely in a playoff spot late in the season, the Leafs travelled to California for a road trip; the team defeated the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings to put themselves at a 90% chance of making the playoffs. To the amazement of many, the Leafs then dropped eight straight games –and 12 of their final 14- before falling well out of the playoffs. The Leafs pretty well took themselves out this season.GIF credit: The Leafs NationThe Winnipeg Jets had come close to a playoff spot in each of their first two years in the city. Many fans wondered; could this be the year the team finally entered the post-season? The answer to that question would be no. Early failures led to the team firing head coach Claude Noel in January, and though Paul Maurice put the Jets in the playoff race after he arrived, but once again the team missed their mark.GIF credit: TumblrThe Vancouver Canucks went from having the leagues top goaltending duo last season, to now having Eddie Lack and Jacob Markstrom as options in their crease. After trading Corey Schneider in the offseason, the Canucks traded Roberto Luongo prior to the trade deadline, a move that stunned the hockey world. The team went from a contender to a rebuilding team almost overnight. The disaster of the previous 10 months led to president and general manager Mike Gillis being fired and coach John Tortorella being on the hottest of seats entering the offseason. In the end, this GIF perfectly summed up the Canucks season.GIF credit: Vancouver Sports BlogThe Calgary Flames ended this season with the ability to move forward with a lot of positives. This season was a write-off for team, they traded franchise hero Jarome Iginla and defenceman Jay Bouwmeester on deadline day last season and watched goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff retire. The Flames were simply using this season to allow their young players to gain experience and finish with a high draft pick. Yet, the success of young players such as Sean Monahan and a breakout campaign from Mikael Backlund have given Flames fans hope for the future, something many fans in Canada dont seem to have right now.In the end, the Flames line brawl against the Canucks will likely live as the most memorable moment in a forgettable 2013-2014.GIF credit: TumblrGIF credit: TumblrFinally, we have the Edmonton Oilers, who have once again taken their place in the leagues basement despite being overloaded with young talent. The Oilers seemed to have more promise than ever entering this season after signing the hottest coaching name, Dallas Eakins, and adding Andrew Ference to lead the teams young core from the blue line. Yet, despite a new coach and new captain, the Oilers once again struggled to compete and were forced to make moves for their future rather than moves to help a playoff push. The Oilers additions of goaltenders Ben Scrivens and Viktor Fasth seemed to be a step in the right direction, however another season of "maybe next year" angered even the most patient of Edmonton fans. Multiple jerseys were thrown on the ice this season and despite Scrivens sending one back, the fans may be on the verge of no longer taking them back. GIF credit: Twitter.com/myregularfaceThe failures of the above six franchises have led Canadians to being forced to either cheer for the Canadiens, a polarizing franchise at best, or cheer for a team south of the border.Of course, theres always the option throw in the towel on watching playoff at all, just like Dallas Eakins did. Is this the worst season ever of Canadian NHL teams? The evidence above suggests it might be… Ben Niemann Jersey . - A retired Indiana school principal who was NASCAR star Jeff Gordons drivers education teacher was killed with his wife in a Tennessee crash while returning from watching Gordon race. Justin Hamilton Jersey . This is not some token job for a prominent, popular former player. All of those areas need a lot of work, so Molitor is going to be busy. "Hes certainly got a history and knowledge and a high baseball IQ," general manager Terry Ryan said. http://www.cheapchiefsjerseysauthentic.com/?tag=authentic-charvarius-ward-jersey . Calgary finished atop the CFL standings with a 14-4 record and earned the right to host the West Division final at McMahon Stadium on Nov.ST. LOUIS -- For six innings, Matt Garza was in top form. Then he tweaked a left oblique and it all fell apart for the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers bullpen quickly surrendered a two-run lead that had once seemed so secure in a 3-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. "It was bad enough where I had to take myself out of the game and I dont do that," Garza said. "Theres too much left in the season and I thought Id make the smart play." Manager Ron Roenicke said Garza will be examined on Monday after feeling his side grab on one of his final pitches. "He couldnt keep going," Roenicke said. "Great game, great fastball. He had a lot working." Garza said he had a similar injury last spring. "I hadnt even thought of it and it just happened, and you try and think of what you did," Garza said. "It felt like a muscle grab, and it was one of those, and son of a gun." John Lackey won his St. Louis debut when the Cardinals rallied for three runs in the seventh inning, capped by a go-ahead from rookie Oscar Taveras. The Cardinals took two of three from NL Central-leading Milwaukee and pulled within one game of the division lead. "We played a good ballgame," Roenicke said. "Got a couple of runs of Lackey and put up some zeroes and you feel pretty good about the game. "It didnt work out." Lackey (1-0) was the Cardinals big catch at the trade deadline that capitalized on Bostons sell-off. The right-hander won the clinching Game 6 of the World Series against St. Louis last fall allowed two runs and seven hits in seven innings and is 12-7 overall. Trevor Rosenthal struck out Carlos Gomez with two on for his major league-leading 34th save in 38 chances. Matt Holliday homered off Zach Duke with one out in the seventh. Recently acquired A.J. Pierzynski hit a tying single off Jeremy Jeffress (0-1) and Taveras sinngled up the middle. Armani Watts Jersey. Aramis Ramirez had an RBI single in the first for Milwaukee, his seventh hit of the series, and Mark Reynolds hit his 19th homer in the second. Lyle Overbay pinch-hit for Garza in the seventh with two outs, a runner on first and the Brewers up 2-0. Garza had been coming up the dugout steps, but Roenicke said the pitcher hadnt heard him say he was coming out. "When youre talking about obliques, you cant go out there," Roenicke said. Overbay singled, raising his career average to .364 against Lackey, but Gomez popped up. Garza was out after just 71 pitches, and the Brewers bullpen quickly surrendered the lead. Garza needed just 38 pitches and faced the minimum the first four innings. He went to a full count for the first time against Matt Adams, who doubled leading off the fifth. TRAINERS ROOM Brewers: Second baseman Scooter Gennett and shortstop Jean Segura did not start, both nursing sore quads. Gennett struck out pinch-hitting in the ninth. Cardinals: Outfielder Jon Jay missed his fifth straight start with a sore wrist from a checked swing in San Diego. He had to be extra disappointed, given hes 8 for 13 with a homer against Garza. UP NEXT Brewers: Milwaukee awaits the Giants, with Jimmy Nelson (1-2, 4.30) facing Tim Lincecum (9-7, 4.21) on Tuesday at Miller Park. Cardinals: After an off-day, the Cardinals host Boston for a three-game series beginning Tuesday night. On Wednesday, Shelby Miller (8-8, 4.14) faces ex-teammate and close friend Joe Kelly (2-2, 4.37), who was traded to Boston in the Lackey trade. Miller and Kelly were the best man in each others wedding. NUMBERS GAME Ramirez is batting .522 (12 for 23) during a six-game hitting streak. Hes batting .459 (17 for 37) against the Cardinals this year with two homers and nine RBIs. He has 37 homers and 139 RBIs against St. Louis, most among active players. LOS ANGELES, Calif. Mike Edwards Jersey . - UFC light heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson already wasnt a big fan of Jon Jones, and the champions positive drug test for cocaine use only reinforced the Swedish contenders opinions.I think its really bad for the sport, Gustafsson said Tuesday. Its bad for the organization. Were supposed to be role models. Youre supposed to stay above that sort of thing. ... Hes a role model. He (has) to face the consequences of what hes done.Gustafsson (16-2) lost a thrilling unanimous decision to Jones in September 2013, and he is in line for the next shot at the champion if he beats Anthony Johnson (18-4) in Stockholm next weekend. But Gustafsson and Phil Davis, his training partner and fellow 205-pound contender, were surprised and confused by Jones positive test for cocaine metabolites this month. Jones made an immediate trip to drug rehabilitation following his victory over Daniel Cormier on Jan. 3 and the subsequent revelation of the results from a test taken a month before the fight. While condemning Jones apparent use of illegal drugs, Gustafsson also said he didnt have a problem with the UFC allowing Jones to fight Cormier despite already knowing the test results. Gustafsson claims he wouldnt be bothered if he lost a bout to a fighter subsequently revealed to be a cocaine user.At the end of the day, its still a fight, and (Cormier) lost that fight, Gustafsson said. Jones did good in that fight, and he should have all the credit for that.Gustafsson also said Jones did nothing spectacular to beat Cormier.Davis is a bit mystified Jones hasnt faced any punishment for his actions — and that the UFC allowed him to fight Cormier despite knowing he had tested positive for cocaine metabolites. The UFC and the Nevada Athletic Commission have said Jones wasnt subject to punishment because cocaine isnt on the list of out-of-competition banned substances.I feel like it all needs to be explained to me, so I know when its OK to do cocaine and get away with it, Davis said in a broadly sarcastic voice. So I can do cocaine right now? Cool. Now, when does that period stop? Twelve hours? Why didnt you tell me this? Halfway through the night before (a fight), I need to stop?Jones mother, Camille, recently told WBNG-TV in Binghamton, New York, that Jones spent only one night in drug rehab, and he plans to attend the AFC championship game in Massachusetts on Sunday. His older brother, Arthur, is a defensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts, and his younger brother, Chandler, is a defensive lineman for the New England Patriots.Gustafsson and Davis have both criticized Jones conduct and perceived arrogance in the past, joining a long line of fighters who dont get along with the mixed martial artist widely considered the sports pound-for-pound best.Davis beat Gustafsson by submission at UFC 112 in April 2010, but the Swedish ex-boxer and the former Penn State wrestler have since formed a tight-knit training camp in San Diego.Gustafsson and Davis spent Tuesday morning in training at the famed Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, meeting trainer Freddie Roach during their session. They leave for Sweden on Monday, but their body clocks wont need much adjustment: The UFC show will be held in the middle of the night in Sweden to maximize its U.S. television audience, and the fighters will just stay on the same schedule theyve been keeping in California.Gustafsson is determined to stay focused on his dangerous bout with Rumble Johnson, who could derail his long-anticipated rematch with Jones. Gustafsson nearly got the rematch last September, but a training injury forced the UFC to promote Cormier into the spot.Every single (fan) asks me about Jon Jones, Gustafsson said. But I dont even make an effort to answer questions about him, because thats not the real threat here. If I dont beat (Johnson), Ill never get the chance to beat Jon Jones. "My client is completely innocent of these charges," Paul Theofanous told Adrian Dater of The Denver Post. He appeared before a judge on Thursday and was released on a $5,000 bond. He is also allowed to travel with the team. Meanwhile, a Russian government official is claiming that Varlamovs arrest is part of a scheme to prevent Russia from winning the gold medal in mens hockey at next years Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. "Im confident of Semyons innocence," Russian parliamentarian Igor Ananskikh toldd a Russian news agency R-Sport. Matt Gay Jersey. "I think it is a sports and political move, as Varlamov is a candidate for the Russian national team. The main goal is to suspend him from training and games so that he loses practice and misses the Olympics." Varlamov is in his sixth NHL season and third with the Avalanche. He has gone 7-1 this season during the teams 10-1-0 start. BELFAST -- Marcel Kittel sprinted to victory in a wet second stage of the Giro dItalia on Saturday as Michael Matthews took the overall leaders pink jersey from Orica-GreenEdge teammate Svein Tuft of Langley, B. Michael Ola Jersey .C. Kittel timed his move to perfection, with 200 metres remaining, to edge out Nacer Bouhanni and Giacomo Nizzolo in a bunch sprint at the end of the 218-kilometre (135-mile) leg, which started and ended in Belfast. The German cyclist clocked more than five hours to claim his first Giro stage win on the day before his 26th birthday. "Honestly, it was not so easy today to stay in front with the team, I lost them a few times," Kittel said. "It was a very hard day with all the rain, and the boys did an amazing job. "The weather was very Irish I guess, and youre cold if you ride five hours in the rain. "I was really overwhelmed by all the people on the roads, it was really a big party despite the weather. Im super happy and proud about this win, its really something to have a win in each of the three Grand Tours." Matthews finished three seconds ahead of his Orica teammates and was hoping to still be wearing the maglia rosa when the Giro moves into Italy. "I didnt expect it, its truly an honour to be wearing this jersey," Matthews said. "We had a great team time trial yesterday and we decided to give it to Svein for his birthday. To take it today is truly something amazing. "Ill try to keep it as long as I can, hopefully until at least stage six or seven. Theres a few guys who are close to me. Its truly a massive thing for the team and for me as well." Despite the heavy rain, thousands of people lined the route which took in picturesque rock formation, the Giants Causeway, as it wound down the coast. Two Garmin-Sharp cyclists withdrew from the race following a crash in Fridays opening team time trial. Dan Martin will have surgery later Saturday on a broken collarbone. Teammate Koldo Fernandez finished the stage, but tests afterward revealed he had also broken his clavicle. There was an early breakaway of four riders. Jeffry Romero, Maarten Tjallingii, Sander Armee and Andrea Fedi swiftly built a lead of more than six minutes on the peloton, which was led by time trial winner Orica. Tjallingii had a superb stage. Not only did the Dutch cyclist lead for most of the day, but he also powered up both category four climbs to claim the blue King of the Mountains jersey. With the peloton quickly catching the four escapees, Tjallingii made a solo break with eight kilometres to go and briefly looked like holding on until he was caught with little more than three kilometres remaining. Sundays third stage is a 187-kilometre cross-border leg from Armagh to Dublin. Monday is a rest day before the race resumes in southern Italy with a stage ending in Bari. Chapman was hit by a line drive during an exhibition game on March 19, breaking his nose and a bone above his left eye. The left-hander looked strong while throwing 43 pitches in batting practice before Saturday nights game against the Braves.INDIANAPOLIS -- An off night from Paul George wasnt enough to derail the Indiana Pacers. Lance Stephenson had 20 points and 11 rebounds and centre Roy Hibbert added 18 points and 11 boards to help Indiana overcome an off night from George to improve their franchise-record home start to 11-0 with a 99-94 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night. "I think he was in the flow for most of the game," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said of Stephenson. "Lance has great will, too. Lance made sure we had energy at both ends of the floor." George, who entered the contest averaging 24.7 points a game, finished with 10 points on 2-of-12 shooting for Indiana (20-3). The 23 games are the fewest the Pacers have needed to reach 20 wins in franchise history, beating the old mark set when they started 20-7 in 2003-04. That team finished 61-21, best in franchise history. Al Jefferson had 21 points and nine rebounds for the Bobcats (10-13), who extended their losing streak in Indiana to eight games. Charlotte hasnt won on the Pacers home court since Nov. 28, 2008. Stephenson added seven assists and David West scored 14 points, George Hill had 13 and Luis Scola 11 for Indiana (20-3). Rasual Butler, playing his most significant minutes (23:47) of the season, scored eight points on 3-of-5 shooting. "Thats a good win against a good team that we have respect for," Vogel said. "We understood this would be a battle of a game and it was." The Pacers led 56-55 at halftime in their first game since defeating the two-time defending champion Miami Heat on Wednesday night in a rematch of last seasons Eastern Conference Finals. They trailed by 90-89 after Gerald Henderson sank a 15-foot jump shot with 5:17 left in the fourth quarter, but Stephensons layup made it 91-90 with 4:18 to play. Indiana never trailed again though it was tight until the end. "We had them where we wanted," Jefferson said. "We didnt do a great job getting back on defence. We pllayed a heck of a game. Cameron Meredith Jersey. We had a chance there at the end to be exactly where we wanted to against a good team. We were right there." Jefferson scored on a layup with 2:14 to pull Charlotte within 96-94, but two free throws by Hill and another by George with 8.1 seconds left sealed the victory. "They made a couple of free throws and got it up to a five-point game, but we were right there with them," Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson said. "Theyre a good defensive team. They are a team that doesnt let you get to the rim. So we tried to drag them out to the perimeter and then attack against them." Though they failed to avenge a 25-point loss to the Pacers on Nov. 26 in Charlotte in the teams other meeting this season, the Bobcats accomplished one of their goals by shutting down George. Playing their fourth-straight game without Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (broken hand), the Bobcats called on Jeff Taylor to contain the Pacers star forward. "Jeff guarded him a lot," Henderson said. "I guarded him. Hes a tough cover. He can score in every way. You have to play him physical without fouling. He missed a lot of shots tonight. Hell go get 30 tomorrow." Vogel took some of the blame for Georges off night. "He didnt get a lot of clean looks. Thats on me," Indianas coach said. PACERS-BOBCATS NOTES: The Pacers host the Pistons on Monday night before their grudge match Wednesday at Miami. The Bobcats play the Lakers on Saturday in Charlotte. ... The game was a homecoming of sorts for Cody Zeller, the Bobcats No. 4 pick in the recent draft and a former Indiana standout. Zeller, who entered the game averaging 5.3 points and 4.2 rebounds, had seven points in 18:59. ... Pacers forward Danny Granger (calf injury) didnt suit up after saying earlier this week he might play against Charlotte. He hasnt played since the fifth preseason game on Oct. 15 and remains day to day. Granger missed all but five games last season with an injured left knee. SEATTLE -- Matt Dominguez homered and drove in three runs, Dallas Keuchel struck out a season-high eight and the Houston Astros broke a seven-game skid with a 7-2 win over the Seattle Mariners on Monday. Chris Manhertz Jersey . It is the seventh straight loss for Seattle, which is the longest active streak in the majors. The Astros took advantage of an error by Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager in the sixth inning to score four unearned runs off Felix Hernandez (3-1) and break a 2-all tie. Hernandez took the major league lead with 43 strikeouts after recording four, but was unable to avoid his first loss of the season after shaky defence put the right-hander in a tough situation in the sixth. Keuchel (2-1) deftly navigated the Mariners for six innings, allowing six hits and a walk, but just two runs. After Jose Altuve led off the sixth with a double, Mariners catcher Mike Zunino fielded a bunt by Dexter Fowler and attempted to throw out Altuve at third base. Zuninos throw arrived in time and on the mark, but Seager dropped the ball as he moved to tag Fowler. Jason Castro followed with a sacrifice fly to score Altuve and give the Astros a 3-2 lead. Hernandez looked as if hed escape further damage by striking out George Springer, but Marc Krauss, Alex Presley and Dominguez hit a run-scoring single, triple and double, respectively. Houston began the night with a .192 batting average, the lowest for any major league team through 19 games since the 2003 Detroit Tigers (.180), according to STATS. The Tigers went on to lose 119 games. The Astros collected nine hits on Tuesday to raise their average to .196. Dominguez broke a scoreless tie with a two-run home run over the visitors bullpen in left field in the fifth. Dominguezs line-drive shot followed a single by Alex Presley, which had been just the second hit of the game for the Astros. The Mariners quickly responded with two of their own in the bottom half of the inning as Abraham Almonte hit a two-run double down the right-field line. Two replay reviews were upheld, both benefiting the Astros. The first came when Zunino hit a towering fly well over the foul pole in left in the seventh inning that was ruled a long strike. Seattle manager Lloyd McClendon asked the umpires for another review in the eighth when it appeared Altuves foot may have come off second base as the Astros were attempting a force out at the bag. The call was upheld and the runner was ruled out. NOTES: RHP Collin McHugh, who the Astros will recall from Triple-A on Tuesday to replace the injured Scott Feldman in the rotation, will likely be limited to about 85 pitches. ... Seattle RHP Taijuan Walker, on the DL with right-shoulder inflammation, is scheduled to see a doctor on Wednesday. If all goes well, Walker will resume throwing. ... Seattle manager Lloyd McClendon said LHP James Paxton is on a timetable to return six to eight months from when he strained his left lat muscle on April 9. Brandon Greene Jersey . The Canadians led for much of the game before Argentina forced overtime in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter. Canada weathered the storm after squandering a lead with a series of made shots. CLEVELAND -- Ben Tate was on the Browns radar for months. Hes now on their roster. Tate signed a two-year, $7 million free agent deal on Saturday with Cleveland, which has been desperate to find a quality every-down running back since trading Trent Richardson to Indianapolis early last season. Tate, who spent the past four years with Houston, fills the void and the 25-year-old is excited to begin a new chapter of his career with the Browns. "LETS DO THIS CLEVELAND!! (hashtag) DawgPound," Tate posted on his Twitter account along with a photo of him wearing a Browns ball cap. Later in a teleconference, Tate said hes eager to show he can be a feature back. "Its been something Ive been waiting for, for a long time," he said. "Im just ready to grab this opportunity and run with it and show everyone what Im all about. ... I feel like now that Ive been given this opportunity that I can be one of the top backs in the league. Im going to let my play speak for itself. But I want it to be known that I do feel like Im a guy whos gonna be a top-10, top-8, top-5 running back." Tate had been linked to the Browns almost from the moment they made the shocking deal to send Richardson to the Colts for a 2014 first-round draft pick. Cleveland considered trading for Tate, but decided to wait until he was available as a free agent. Tate was one of the top free agent backs on the market, and after spending two days visiting the Browns, his agents and the team finalized a deal. He spent the down time messaging with fans on Twitter, hoping Cleveland would become his new football home. "I really wanted to be here," said Tate, adding he had other visits lined up. "I thought this was going to be the best opportunity for me. I felt like the pieces thats already here, offensive line-wise and their plans to build in the rest of free agency and also in the draft, so I felt like this was going to be just the best opportunity for me to succeed and to help turn this thing around and take it to another level. Kyle Love Jersey. " Tate rushed for 771 yards last season, his fourth with the Texans. He played part of the year with broken ribs, an injury that would have sidelined most players. He has averaged 4.7 yards per attempt during his career. After sitting out his rookie season in 2010 with a broken ankle, Tate took over after starter Arian Foster got hurt in 2011 and rushed for 942 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Tate said it was tough sitting and waiting behind Foster for his chance to shine. "I feel like Im explosive," he said when asked to describe his running style. "I feel like I can make guys miss when you hit the open field. I feel like if its third-and-1 and Ive got to go one-on-one with a linebacker that I can do that as well. "So I just feel like Im a total package. I feel like I can do everything there is to. I can catch the ball out of the backfield. I feel like I can do everything. Im a three-down back. I just would say Im just a complete back." The Browns ranked tied for 27th in the league with 86.4 yards rushing per game last season and scored only four TDs on the ground. Tate is the fifth free agent signed by the Browns this week, joining safety Donte Whitner, linebacker Karlos Dansby, cornerback Isaiah Trufant and tight end Jim Dray. Cleveland has signed Cincinnati wide receiver Andrew Hawkins to an offer sheet and is waiting to see if the Bengals are going to match it for the quick slot receiver. Also, the Browns are in a holding pattern on Pro Bowl centre Alex Mack. They designated him as their transition player, locking him into a one-year, $10.039 million deal in 2014 unless he signs an offer sheet elsewhere that Cleveland will have time to match. GOLD COAST, Australia -- Cheyenne Woods won the Australian Ladies Masters on Sunday for her first major professional tour victory, holding off 17-year-old Australian amateur Minjee Lee by two strokes. Clinton Portis Jersey . The 23-year-old Woods, Tiger Woods niece, closed with a 4-under 69 at Royal Pines to finish at 16-under 276. Lee also shot 69 in the event sanctioned by the European and Australian tours. Woods birdied the par-5 15th to open a two-stroke lead, hitting a wedge from about 120 yards to 4 feet. On the par-5 18th, she matched Lee with a birdie, holing out from 1 1/2 feet. "This is a huge accomplishment for me," Woods said. "The European Tour has been great to be able to play this past year. Ive been able to see all of these great players, play with Solheim Cup members ... to be able to come out here and compete with them and come out on top was huge for me." From Phoenix, Woods is the daughter of Earl Woods Jr., Tiger Woods half brother. Woods turned professional in 2012 after an All-America career at Wake Forest and her only previous pro victory came in 2012 in a SunCoast mini-tour event. In December, she missed the cut in the LPGA Tours qualifying tournament in a failed bid to earn a spot on the circuit. "Ive been pro for two years and, for the majority of it, people just think of me as Tiger Woods niece, so now I have a game of my own and I have a title now, a win, which is exciting," she said. "Its nice now to say to people that I can play and Im not just a name. Growing up with the last name of Woods, theres a lot of expectations and pressure and spotlight on you but I always knew that I was able to win. I always knew Id be able to compete with these ladies, so now its kind of a weight off my shoulders because now everybody knows not just me." Woods earned $51,000 and a two-year exemption on the Ladies European Tour. She will play next week in the LPGA Tour-sanctioned Womens Australian Open in Victoria. South Africas Stacy Lee Bregman and Swedens Camilla Lennarth tied for third at 12 under. Bergman closed with a 72, and Lenmarth had a 70. Gasquet next plays third-seeded Jerzy Janowicz of Poland, who won had 18 aces in a 6-2, 6-4 win against seventh-seeded Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France.Montgomery, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Bowling Green Falcons will look to get some distance from a lopsided loss in the Mid-American Conference championship game as they prepare to take on the South Alabama Jaguars in the inaugural Raycom Media Camellia Bowl. Bowling Green finished the season with a 7-6 record after a turbulent start to the campaign. But the Falcons also ended it with a 51-17 loss to Northern Illinois in the MAC championship bout. The Falcons are 4-7 all-time in bowl games, and will be looking for a win in coach Dino Babers first bowl appearance. The Camellia, which is designed to pit a member of the MAC and Sun Belt Conference together, is in its first year of existence. It seems fitting then that South Alabama make its first-ever bowl appearance in this event. The Jaguars ended the season at 6-6 with two consecutive losses to South Carolina (37-12) and Navy (42-40) to end the regular season. Its the inaugural Camellia Bowl and the first-ever bowl appearance for South Alabama, but its also a first for the meeting of Bowling Green and USA as well. South Alabamas offense wasnt exceptionally strong this season, but the team managed to get to .500 by averaging 22.1 ppg and 372.8 total offensive ypg. Quarterback Brandon Bridge was the standout for the Jaguars on the offensive side, passing for 1,648 yards and 14 touchdowns against just six interceptions. He also missed multiple games earlier in the year, but still averaged 164.8 passing ypg. The rushing attack for the Jaguars was spread between a number of different ball carriers. Kendall Houston gained a team-high 659 yards on the ground this season on 133 carries, but it was Jay Jones and Terrance Timmons who each notched a team-best three rushing scores, tied with Bridge for the team lead. As a unit, USA gained 182.6 rushing ypg in 12 contests. While Jereme Jones (two receiving touchdowns) and Danny Woodson (four receiving touchdowns) were solid targets for Bridge this season, it was Shavarez Smith who stood out in the receiving game for the Jags. Smith tallied 50 receptions for 714 yards and eight scores to lead the team in all three categories. The defensive effort was a strong one for South Alabama, which allowed 25.8 ppg to opponents in 12 games played. But toward the end of the season when USA lost four of its final five games, the team allowed 45 points, 37 points and 42 points in its final three losses, respectively. Terrell Brigham notched 101 tackles to lead the team this season, and played well in pass coverage with seven pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. Lineman Theo Rich (12 tackles for loss, eight sacks) will need to be on point up front against a strong Bowling Green run attack. And Montell Garner (two interceptions, eight pass breakups) will be keying in on Knapke and his leading receivers. I knoww it will be a great event for both teams - were looking forward to participating in it, South Alabama coach Joey Jones said. Alex Smith Jersey. Last year we became bowl eligible but didnt quite get in. This year we became bowl eligible and got in. Im so proud of our players and the sacrifices theyve made to have this moment. Bowling Greens offense suffered some serious injuries to key players this season, and some occurred very early on. Starting quarterback Matt Johnson was forced from the very first game of the season with a hip injury that sidelined him for the year, so James Knapke was thrust under center. And he performed admirably, leading his team with 2,805 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Knapke was the field general of an offense that averaged 29.8 ppg this season and 427.8 total offensive ypg. The signal caller also added two rushing scores to his resume. But it was the run game for the Falcons that generally set the tone offensively. Travis Greene, a preseason all-conference favorite, finished the regular season with 908 rushing yards and a team-best 10 touchdowns on 160 carries in just 11 games played (missed time due to injury). Andre Givens stepped up in Greenes absence, and ended the campaign with 474 yards and eight rushing scores. The Falcons gained 176.2 rushing ypg as a unit. Bowling Green had to deal with the loss of receiver Chris Gallon (knee injury) for the entire season, but Roger Lewis (956 yards, five touchdowns) and Ronnie Moore (629 yards, five touchdowns) filled in nicely as outlets for Knapke. Ryan Burbrink (719 yards, three touchdowns) stepped up for the Falcons as well. The defense struggled at times for Bowling Green this year, especially in the final three games of the regular-season schedule, which all resulted in losses for the Falcons. Entering the Camellia Bowl, BGSU allows opponents to score 33.9 ppg and gain 499.6 offensive ypg against the team. Neither of those statistics were helped when the team was run over by Northern Illinois in the MAC championship. The Huskies gained 552 yards, including 334 on the ground, against the Falcons. Linebacker Gabe Martin led the defensive effort with 110 tackles this season, adding in a team-best 16 tackles for loss with 2.5 sacks, two interceptions and four pass breakups. Brian Sutton is the only other player with more than 100 tackles for the Falcons, stopping 102 total ball carriers with 7.5 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles. Freshmen Nick Johnson (five interceptions) and Clint Stephens (four interceptions) will need to anchor the secondary once again. We are honored to be selected to play in the Camellia Bowl, Babers said. I am excited that our seniors have one more opportunity to take the field and represent Bowling Green State University football on a national stage. MELBOURNE, Australia - Andy Murray ensured there would be no five-set comeback for local hope Nick Kyrgios on Tuesday night, beating the 19-year-old Australian 6-3 7-6 (5), 6-3 in a quarterfinal match at the Australian Open. Kenny Stabler Jersey .Kyrgios came back from two sets down and saved a match point in the fourth round Sunday before beating Italian Andreas Seppi, the player who had eliminated Roger Federer. But on Tuesday at Rod Laver Arena, the excitable Kyrgios was undone by the sixth-seeded Murrays steady all-court game and his own string of unforced errors, silencing the parochial crowd.Murray, who didnt face his first break point until the seventh game of the final set, will next play Tomas Berdych, who upset Nadal in straight sets earlier Tuesday. PAUL, Minn.TSN Hockey Insiders Bob McKenzie and Darren Dreger have the latest on the possible movement involving the Canucks Ryan Kesler, the Rangers Ryan Callahan, and the Maple Leafs Dave Bolland. Not long ago Bob, you mentioned that the Vancouver Canucks are willing to deal anybody but the Sedin twins. Whats the latest on that front? Bob McKenzie: The team that Im most interested to see what, if anything, they do is the Vancouver Canucks. Now I can tell you this, there are multiple teams in the National Hockey League that are looking at veteran defenceman Alex Edler and veteran forward Ryan Kesler and are trying to find out if the Canucks are possibly serious about moving these guys and if so, what the price is going to be. Now keep in mind a couple of things - nobody in Vancouver leaves if they dont want to leave as there are lots of no-move, no-trade clauses, and we also want to see what happens with Kesler with the MRI coming back on the finger from the shot that he blocked at the Olympics. In New York talks have clearly broken down between Ryan Callahan and the Rangers with Callahan set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. Is it now a foregone conclusion that hes going to move? Darren Dreger: Im told that its 99 per cent guaranteed that Ryan Callahan will get traded by the New York Rangers. There are many teams involved in this process. We know that the St. Louis Blues have been the most consistent in showing interest, and theres some connection with the Tampa Bay Lightning and other teams as well. But theres an ongoing back-and-forth with defenceman Dan Girardi as well. Many predicted that this deal would be done by now to keep Girardi with the Rangers. If hes not signed by March 5, the trade deadline, theres also a 99 per cent chance that he gets traded. McKenzie: And youre right Darren, there have been no talks over the Olympic break between Callahan and the Rangers. There has been ongoing dialogue with Girardi - there seems to be a little bit of a difference in term, maybe a little less than $500,000 a year difference in money, but theyre working and trying to get that done. In Toronto, Dave Bolland is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. How are negotiations going there, and what are the chances hes still a Maple Leaf on March 6? Dreger: Well this is going to be a real difficult negotiation for the Toronto Maple Leafs, very similar to the one they had with Tyler Bozak creeping up to the trade deadliine last year. Gareon Conley Jersey. Of course trading Bolland is an option, its believed he wants as much as $5 million, maybe better than $5 million per year to stay with the Leafs to avoid unrestricted free agency. So the Leafs have a tough decision to make, since they would rather pay him in the $4 million range than the $5 million range. So do they hold him, and use him as their own rental and take their chances on trying to sign him? They need to make a hockey deal and not a trade that would include draft picks coming back the other way. Then what do the Leafs need? Dreger: The Leafs need a top-four defenceman and theyre also in the market for a top-nine forward. Again, Dave Nonis is less interested in a rental player and more interested in adding pieces that are going to help this team in the playoffs. Whats the latest on Ryan Millers status with the Buffalo Sabres? McKenzie: There have been reports out there that the Sabres are trying to sign Miller. My clear understanding is that the priority and the preference is still to try and get a trade for netminder Ryan Miller and virtually any other player on the roster. General manager Tim Murray is open for business, and there isnt a single untouchable on this team, maybe with the exception of Zemgus Girgensons. The New York Islanders are also conducting an auction for forward Thomas Vanek and defenceman Andrew MacDonald. As many as six teams have enquired on Vanek, and there was at least one serious offer that was rejected by the Islanders. At least seven teams have enquired on McDonald but there have been no firm offers at this point. Dreger: Some are suggesting that maybe there is a three-way deal involving the St. Louis Blues and perhaps the Minnesota Wild where Jaroslav Halak might be included. Maybe Jake Allen, I know the Buffalo Sabres would want to get him as part of a package. Again, thats the time of year it is and thats the type of rumour mongering that goes on creeping up to the deadline. Were hearing that Mike Cammalleri has been offered a deal by the Calgary Flames. What are the chances that he remains a Flame after the deadline? McKenzie: I think its much more likely that he gets traded than remains a Flame, but there is a remote possibility that Cammalleri could get a deal done with the Flames. NEW YORK -- The New York Jets have re-signed veteran linebacker Calvin Pace to a two-year deal, bringing back one of their sacks leaders from last season. Wyatt Teller Jersey . Pace had a career-high 10 sacks for Rex Ryans defence-- second only to Muhammad Wilkersons 10 1/2 -- in his sixth season with the Jets. The 33-year-old outside linebacker was an unrestricted free agent. Pace, who played his first five NFL seasons with Arizona, has 52 career sacks and has started every game the last three years. He is likely to be slated to start opposite Quinton Coples again this season. The Jets cut Pace last off-season to save money under the salary cap before re-signing him last April. He rewarded them by having one of his best overall seasons, which included 53 tackles, two forced fumbles and three passes defenced. Julian Stanford Jersey . -- Packers cornerback Tramon Williams has been fined $26,250 for contact with an official, per NFL guidelines. Andre Reed Jersey . The match, billed as a "next-gen" encounter between two of the sports rising stars, lasted two and a half hours. The loss kept Raonic, from Thornhill, Ont., from reaching a third fourth-round spot in Melbourne over the past four years. http://www.wholesalebillsjerseys.com/ . Bring on Freddy Garcia. The well-travelled 36-year-old right-hander earned his second NL victory since 2007, and his first since he joined the Atlanta Braves last month, pitching six innings to help beat Miami 6-1 Thursday.Sunderlands first Premier League victory of the season will give the club new vigour and energy, says Niall Quinn. Sunderland ended their winless start to the league season with a dramatic 2-1 win despite having Steven Pienaar sent-off with the game at 1-1.Things looked bleak for under-pressure David Moyes, who had taken just two points from his first 10 league games in charge, but Jermain Defoe scored from the penalty spot on 74 minutes to steal all three points. The win moves Sunderland level on five points with Swansea, but they remain bottom on goal difference.Quinn believes Moyes now has something to build on.Hell be so pleased inside, Quinn told Sky Sports. There has been a lot of pressure on his shoulders and hes tried to handle it the best he could - some people have even questioned whether they shouldve changed the manager again, which is ludicrous in my opinion, regardless of what happened today. David Moyes praised the spirit of his Sunderland team as they came back from a goal down It was an enormous job to come in and sort out what Sam Allardyce had left. Today will feel good for him - it can give everyone new vigour and new energy. The players will now go on international duty but theyll know the club will be a good place to come back to next week.Sunderlands rearguard action came to the fore in the closing stages at The Vitality Stadium as goalkeeper Jordan Pickford starrred for Moyes men. Denzel Rice Jersey. Eddie Howe was left frustrated after Bournemouth lost to Sunderland Bournemouth had 22 shots in the match and registered seven on target but Pickford repelled their efforts with a string of stops, including a wonder save from Josh King. Pickford was different class, Quinn said. We can call him a kid because he is one in goalkeeping terms. He is a complete novice but the character hes shown is fantastic. Young players can be forgiven for making mistakes and not being ready for a tough situation but he was banging his chest at the end of the game. Jermain Defoe (left) scored Sunderlands winning goal from the penalty spot Hes a young lad that has seized the moment. In an ideal world hed be playing for a winning team that dont concede many chances but hes been called into action time and time again in recent weeks. He got his rewards today. For a young lad like that to take the game by scruff of the neck, it has to bode well for the future. RIO DE JANEIRO - In an attempt to crack down on ticket scalping, Brazilian organizers of the 2016 Olympics will impose large fines on anyone involved in the resale of tickets distributed by national Olympic committees. TreCrawford Jersey .Ticket scalping occurs at most Olympics and was a problem at last years World Cup in Brazil.National Olympic committees receive tickets, some of which are sold legally and wind up in package deals.Organizers of the Rio de Janeiro Games said Wednesday that fines for resale of those tickets could reach 100 times the tickets face value. The fines are an additional measure to reinforce the integrity of the ticketing program, the Rio organizing committee said in a statement. The policy applies only to tickets distributed by national Olympic committees. Tickets sold to the public through websites or other means are not included, although they are subject to Brazilian law.Selling tickets at above face value is illegal in Brazil.A top official of the ticketing partner of footballs world governing body FIFA was arrested after the World Cup and charged in an alleged ticket-scalping scheme. The cheapest ticket for the Rio Games is 40 Brazilian Reals (about $15 at the current exchange rate). The most expensive ticket will be 4,600 Brazilian reals (about $1,800) for the opening ceremony.Rio organizers have said that 7.5 million tickets will be issued for the games. Half of them will be priced under $30.Rio officials said using fines to deter scalping was a first for any Olympics.Officials may offer more details Thursday when they also announce distribution plans for tickets going to the general public.___Stephen Wade on Twitter: http://twitter.com/StephenWadeAP Ricky Ortiz Jersey . The July 7 trial will look at the trusts terms alone and not focus on whether the 80-year-old Sterling is mentally incapacitated, Superior Court Judge Michael Levanas said Monday. Attorneys will argue about whether Shelly Sterling properly followed the terms of the trust in declaring Donald Sterling to be mentally incapacitated and what happens to a deal that hasnt been closed once a trust is revoked. Shelly Sterling struck a deal to sell the team to Ballmer in May after Donald Sterlings racist remarks to a girlfriend were publicized and the NBA moved to oust him as an owner. She had two doctors examine her husband and they declared that he was mentally incapacitated and unable to act as an administrator of The Sterling Family Trust, which owns the Clippers. The terms of the trust say incapacitation can be determined by two licensed doctors without ties to the family who are specialists in their field. In court filings, Donald Sterlings attorneys argued that he submitted to medical examination under false pretenses, there was undue influence in the doctors findings, and that the examination and letters regarding his mental capacity were defective and incomplete. "There was no duping," Shelly Sterlings attorney Pierce ODonnell said Monday. Donald Sterlling voluntarily went to Cedars Sinai Imaging Center to get scans of his brain and there was no requirement to remind Donald Sterling, who is an attorney, or his legal team of the trusts conditions, ODonnell wrote in court filings. Falcons Jerseys China. The judge said another issue likely to be "front and centre" during the trial is what happens to a deal that hasnt been closed when a trust is revoked. Donald Sterling revoked the trust on June 9 — weeks after Shelly Sterling negotiated the deal with Ballmer. Shelly Sterlings attorneys contend that finishing the deal is part of winding down the trusts affairs and that she has an obligation to close the deal or Ballmer will sue. But Donald Sterlings attorneys argue that a revocation means probate court has no jurisdiction and that winding down affairs refers to passive actions, not a sale that markedly changes the assets in the trust and its value. Timing has been an issue throughout the proceedings and the judge denied the request by Donald Sterlings attorneys to postpone the trial. An expedited timetable was put forward from the beginning because NBA owners must approve what would be a record breaking deal and are scheduled to meet July 15 to vote. Thats the same day Ballmers offer is set to expire — and there is no deal without the judges approval of the sale. If the sale isnt completed by Sept. 15, the league said it could seize the team and put it up for auction. ___ Tami Abdollah can be followed at http://www.twitter.com/latams Cheap Jerseys China NFL Jerseys Cheap NBA Jerseys Wholesale NHL Jerseys Wholesale MLB Jerseys Cheap Soccer Jerseys China Wholesale NCAA Jerseys Wholesale Football Jerseys Wholesale Basketball Jerseys Wholesale Baseball Jerseys ' ' '

NEWARK, N. Nick Sundberg Jersey .J. - The New Jersey Devils have been on a slide since going to the Stanley Cup final in 2012, and coach Pete DeBoer paid the price.DeBoer, who took the Devils to the championship round in his first season, was fired Friday, with his aging and short-handed team in danger of missing the playoffs for a third straight season.Lou Lamoriello, the Devils president and general manager, wont say who will be the next coach until he speaks Saturday with the players, who are on a three-day Christmas break. The Devils will have a pregame skate at the Prudential Center on Saturday morning before playing the Rangers in New York that night. There are a number of potential candidates, including Adam Oates, a former Devils assistant; Dallas Eakins, who was fired earlier this month by Edmonton; and former Penguins coach Dan Bylsma.Lamoriello has hired a couple of former Montreal Canadiens coaches to lead New Jersey, and Jacques Martin has been in the press box to watch the Devils in their last three home games. He was an assistant under Bylsma last season and was promoted to senior adviser of hockey operations.New Jersey has been hit with injuries in a 12-17-7 season. It has not won consecutive games since early last month, going 3-8-5 in its last 16. The Devils were missing six regulars to either injury or illness Tuesday night when they lost 2-1 in a shootout to the Carolina Hurricanes, the NHLs second-worst team.I know that no one wants to hear excuses, and I am not going to make any, but I am definitely not going to throw our guys under the bus, DeBoer said Tuesday. Guys are trying. The problem is the guys are not as talented as they used to be, and it shows in the standings. The Devils are 14th in the Eastern Conference, nine points out of a playoff berth and fading.New Jersey has 15 players over the age of 30 on the roster, including 42-year-old Jaromir Jagr, who is tied for the team lead in scoring. Not only are they old, but the Devils have not gotten much help from their minor leagues in recent years. Defenceman Adam Larsson, the fourth pick overall in 2011, has been a disappointment, and Stephane Matteau, the first-round pick the following season, has one goal with the Devils top affiliate this season.DeBoer is the third NHL coach to be fired this season, following Paul MacLean in Ottawa and Eakins.DeBoer was 114-93-41 in his three-plus seasons with the Devils. Before coming to New Jersey, he coached the Florida Panthers for three years, never making the playoffs. The 46-year-old DeBoer was hired in 2011-12 and immediately took the Devils to the Stanley Cup final, where they lost to the Los Angeles Kings. The Devils, however, lost Zach Parise to free agency after the season. They took an unexpected blow after the lockout-shortened 2012-13 season when goal-scorer Ilya Kovalchuk left to play in Russia. Those were the teams two best players, and their losses were keenly felt, especially in shootouts. The Devils were 0-13 in shootouts last season and 2-6 this season, their first since not re-signing goaltender Martin Brodeur, the longtime face of the three-time Stanley Cup champions.DeBoer had provided some stability to the Devils coaching position. Since winning their last Cup in 2003 under Pat Burns, the Devils have changed coaches nine times, with only Brent Sutter lasting two full seasons until DeBoer came along. During that span, Lamoriello has twice filled in on an interim basis and Jacques Lemaire has twice come out of retirement to coach the team. Wacha threw seven innings and drove in two runs with a single, helping the Cardinals to a 5-3 victory Thursday over the Chicago Cubs. The 6-foot-6 Wacha (3-3) had lost his last three decisions since an April 13 win over the Cubs. The 22-year-old right-hander allowed seven hits, including a homer, but did not walk a batter. He struck out five. "I was able to pound the strike zone down in the zone and it was pretty effective," Wacha said. "I kept them off-balance, which means its a pretty good day. Its definitely nice to go deep into a ballgame and get a win. It definitely gets your confidence going in the next start thats for sure." Trevor Rosenthal pitched 1 2-3 innings for his 11th save. Rosenthal, who blew a save Tuesday, inherited a one-out, bases-loaded situation and gave up a sacrifice fly, but closed out the inning and retired the side in the ninth. The Cubs have lost nine of their last 11 and are off to the worst start in 39 games (13-26) since 2002. Jason Hammel (4-2) gave up five runs on five hits and two walks in 5 1-3 innings, raising his ERA to 3.06. Hammel had six strikeouts. St. Louis scored four runs in the second inning on Wachas two-run single in between a run-scoring groundout by Yadier Molina and Matt Carpenters RBI double. It was Wachas first hit and RBIs of the season. "Its nice to finally have a batting average," Wacha said. St. Louis manager Mike Matheny noted it was a timely hit. "Mike was good and obviously getting that hit there to drive in a couple runs it was kind of a huge boost to us at that point," Matheny said. With two outs, Hammel might have escaped with little damage but he had to throw a strike on a 3-2 count to Wacha and the bases loaded. "I got behind Wacha with two wild ones," Hammel said. "I came in with a fastball and he hit it." Chicago got two runs back in the fourth on a home run just inside the left-field foul pole by Starlin Castro. He drove in No. 3 hitter Anthony Rizzo, who beat the St. Louuis shift to the right side with his second bunt to the left side in two at-bats. Steven Sims Jersey. Rizzo has three career bunt singles with the Cubs with one coming in his previous 285 games. "If theyre going to give me that, I might as well take it," Rizzo said. "We were able to cash in once. I almost make them pay twice for it. Wacha is a great pitcher but you get him on the stretch and try to get him off his game a little bit. "You know if teams are going to give me that, for the most part, Im going to take it every time." When Rizzo came to bat in the fifth and seventh, St. Louis did not shift. "Rizzo took advantage of the shift until they changed their defence on him," Chicago manager Rick Renteria said. "That led to our first two runs when Starlin drove the ball out of the ballpark. Hes really looking at the game from a lot of different angles. Think about it, youre down four runs and a solo home run is not going to do a whole lot for you." The Cardinals made it 5-2 when Molina lined a 3-2 pitch just inside the line in left for a one-out RBI single. Junior Lake hit a sacrifice fly for a run in the eighth, but Rosenthal got out the jam. St. Louis lost a challenge in the third when Matt Holliday was called out on a close play at first after hitting a grounder to shortstop. The time of the review was 2 minutes, 54 seconds. NOTES: Missouris new basketball coach Kim Anderson threw out the first pitch. "It was an honour to throw the first ball out," he said. "I was nervous out there, but its something I will never forget." ... The Cardinals announced the time for making up Wednesdays game with the Cubs that was rained out. It will be played at 1:15 p.m. Aug. 30 as part of a split doubleheader. The second game will start at 7:15 p.m. instead of 6:15 p.m. ... The Cardinals recalled 2B Kolten Wong on Wednesday from Triple-A Memphis and optioned infielder Greg Garcia back to the club. Wong was optioned April 27 after hitting .225 in 20 games. The win was the fifth in six games for the Rockets, who are 9-3 on the road.Harden missed 17 of 27 shots in regulation, then went 4 of 5 in OT and converted three of four free throws, leading the way as the Rockets outscored the Kings 18-14 in the extra period. He was rolling. In overtime he just took over, Houston coach Kevin McHale said.Harden started overtime with a driving basket, hit a 3 and then added another basket to put the Rockets up 102-95. Collisons 3-pointer pulled the Kings within two, but Harden converted two free throws with 7.1 seconds left to seal the victory.I knew I had a lot left, said Harden, who shot 14 for 32 and made 13 of 15 free throws. I just wanted to attack and create opportunities. I didnt shoot well in the first four quarters, but I wanted to come out aggressive in overtime.Trevor Ariza scored 15 and Patrick Beverley had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Rockets. Donatas Motiejunas added 14 points and Jason Terry 13.Darren Collison scored 24 points and Ben McLemore added 21 for the Kings, who dropped their second straight and seventh in nine games. Derrick Williams scored 13 and Jason Thompson had 13 points and 15 rebounds. The Kings, who led by as many as 12 points, committed 22 turnovers that led to 27 Houston points in dropping another tight game. These losses are tough. We have to find ways to finish, Thompson said. James left with 3:59 remaining in Game 1 after his body shut down because of the cramps. The Heat trailed by two at that point and wound up losing by 15. James told teammates before Game 1 that they needed to have a Game 7 approach -- and with the Heat down 1-0 in the series, hell underscore that point again Sunday. SAN FRANCISCO -- With only a handful of wins over the past two years, the Colorado Rockies have grown to loathe their annual visits to AT&T Park. Tanner Vallejo Jersey . A five-run ninth inning against Giants closer Sergio Romo might just change how manager Walt Weisss club views its road trips to San Francisco. D.J. LeMahieu hit a tiebreaking single after going hitless in his first three at-bats, and the Rockies rallied to beat the Giants 7-4 on Friday night. "Its a tough place to play, not only for us but for everybody," said Weiss, whose club had dropped 15 of 18 at the Giants waterfront ballpark. "The Giants are always tough at home. To win a game like that, not only the first game of the series but the way we won it, (is) big for our club." The Rockies had gone five straight innings without a hit before scoring five times off Romo (3-2), who went into the night tied for most saves in the majors. Troy Tulowitzki had a leadoff single, but was replaced by Charlie Culberson after injuring his foot reaching first base. After Justin Morneau singled, Romo retired Wilin Rosario on a fly to centre field. He then intentionally walked Corey Dickerson to load the bases. Pinch-hitter Ryan Wheeler hit a two-run single before LeMahieus soft single to centre drove in Dickerson. "(Romo) does such a good job of keeping the ball down," Wheeler said. "Even the pitch I hit, I think it was a ball. I hit the barrel and it went up the middle." Michael McKenry added an RBI single off George Kontos, and LeMahieu scored while McKenry was caught in a rundown between first and second. Matt Belisle (1-2) pitched one inning for the win, and LaTroy Hawkins worked the ninth for his 12th save. "This team knows what to do and we continue to hold each other accountable, but you still have to get it done," Belisle said. "Tonight, thats what happened." The Rockies had to overcome an injury-shortened night by starter Jorge De La Rosa. The left-hander, who had lost his previous two starts, was forced out of the game after the third inning due to tightness in his lower back. The Rockies bailed him out with their huge ninth, marking the eighth time this season Colorado has won in its final at-bat. "They found a way to find the holes," Romo said following his third blown save this season. "I have no explanation for that other than it was their night. I felt fine. I needed a groundball and it didnt work out." Up to that point, Weiss team hadnt done much. Tim Lincecum worked six solid innings for San Francisco. The two-time NL Cy Young Award winner allowed three hits and two runs, retiring his final 10 batters. Three relievers combined to shut out Colorado over the next two innings before Romos collapse in the ninth. Morneau finished with two hits, the only Rockies player with multiple hits. De La Rosa struggled even before his back acted up. He had to strike out Lincecum to escape a bases-loaded jam in the second, then gave up a leadoff double to Angel Pagan in the third. After Hunter Pences RBI single, De La Rosa retired the next two batters but threw one pitch to Michael Morse before summoning team trainers and Weiss to the mound. Umpires allowed De La Rosa to make a few warmup pitches before Morse hit a tying single. Morse also doubled off Tommy Kahnle in the fifth, and Pence doubled and scored on a wild pitch by Chris Martin in the seventh. NOTES: C Rosario got hit in the face by a ball he fouled off that hit the ground and bounced straight up in the second inning. A team trainer came out to check on Rosario, who stayed in the game. ... Colorado RHP Christian Bergman (0-1) will make his second major league start on Saturday. The rookie allowed two runs in six innings in his pro debut on Monday. RHP Ryan Vogelsong (4-3) pitches for San Francisco. Kevin White Jersey . The roster changes have been constant and continuous since late last year, but even with their 46-man roster set for the start of the season, the banged-up Bombers will be kicking off Week 1 with a handful of fresh faces and back-ups in the starting lineup. Tariq Cole Jersey . When the Dallas Mavericks needed to stop a Golden State rally in the fourth quarter, they looked for defensive help from the rookie point guard playing in just his sixth game. http://www.cheaparizonacardinalsjerseysauthentic.com/?tag=authentic-rudy-ford-jersey .
