MOSCOW -- Two-time Grand Slam champion Svetlana Kuznetsova beat Sofia Arvidsson of Sweden 6-2, 7-5 to make the Kremlin Cup quarterfinals for the sixth time on Wednesday. Nike Air Max 95 Womens Uk . Meanwhile, mens defending champion Andreas Seppi broke Paolo Lorenzi twice in the second set to win the all-Italian second-round match 6-3, 6-2, and 2011 champ Janko Tipsarevic lost to Russian wild card Karen Khachanov 6-4, 6-4. Kuznetsova, ranked 23rd, overcame an early break in the second set and earned the victory on her third match point against Arvidsson, a semifinalist last year. "I was more relaxed on the court today, yet I was hurrying a bit and wanted to play more aggressive, thus making more mistakes," Kuznetsova said. "But I can say that now, at the end of the season, I am playing much better." She missed Wimbledon, among several tournaments in midseason, because of an abdominal injury. She will try to reach the semifinals for only the second time in Moscow when she faces second-seeded Roberta Vinci of Italy, who beat Elena Vesnina 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 after a first-round bye. Vesnina, who won her first two singles titles this season, broke twice in the opening set. But Vinci broke the Russian three times in the second to force a decider. The 11th-ranked Italian broke decisively in the seventh game and served out. Samantha Stosur opened her account by beating Kaia Kanepi of Estonia 6-3, 6-1. Stosur, coming off her second title this season and fifth of her career, converted four of 11 break opportunities. "I played really well and Kaia was a really dangerous opponent," Stosur said. "I really tried to start the match well, on top." Last years runner-up, Stosur has Alize Cornet of France next. Meanwhile, the 17-year-old Khachanov advanced to his first career ATP quarterfinals in hitting 14 aces past third-seeded Tipsarevic. Playing his fourth tour match, Khachanov broke Tipsarevic once in each set and didnt offer a break chance. "It was a tight match. I was trying but Karen didnt give many chances on his serve," Tipsarevic said. "Two chances he had on my serve he broke me. He plays really well for his age and if he improves his fitness he has all the potential to become a very good player." Earlier, Alisa Kleybanova advanced to her first quarterfinals since being treated for cancer, beating the sixth-seeded Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain 7-6 (2), 6-4. The Russian was ranked as high as 20th, but after missing much of the last two seasons because of her illness is now 254th. She resumed her career in May and won a challenger before returning to the tour in Toronto in August. "I always liked to play with Carla and I knew it would be a tough match," Kleybanova said. "But I think that today I played more accurate on key moments and thats why I won." Kleybanova was diagnosed with blood cancer and underwent chemotherapy until December 2011. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who is looking for her third title this year, beat Russian compatriot Maria Kirilenko 6-3, 6-3. Happ and catcher Erik Kratz had a plan.TORONTO -- Mired in a 10-game scoring slump dating back to the regular season, Marlies forward Spencer Abbott elected to go against a popular post-season trend and shave his playoff beard Thursday morning. The move paid off as Abbott scored a natural hat trick to lead the Toronto Marlies to a 4-1 win over the Texas Stars that ties the American Hockey Leagues Western Conference final at two. "It wasnt working for me personally so I decided to switch something up," said Abbott of the fresh shave. "I was kind of hearing it when I first did it there, but I guess now they cant really say a whole lot. I was in a bit of a slump there and its nice to get that off my back. Getting three is just a bonus." Added Marlies coach Steve Spott: "(He) wanted to reset and a fresh start so he definitely did that. Im going to get to the Shoppers Drug Mart, maybe get some razors. Its funny how superstition plays a part of this. Whatever works, but it definitely worked for Spencer tonight." Abbott, who had not scored in seven playoff games after missing 12 games with a shoulder injury, picked up all three goals on Marlies power plays. Defenceman T.J. Brennan assisted on all three Abbott goals while Peter Holland extended his point streak to eight games with two assists. "I think its all a credit to my line mates," said Holland of the streak. "Ive been playing with great players and Spotters been putting me in great situations in order to get the job done and when the power play is going, you can get on the score sheet. As long as were winning, the points dont really matter to me." With Marlies defenceman Andrew MacWilliam off for boarding at 14:26 of the third, the Stars pulled goaltender Cristopher Nilstorp giving Texas a two minute, two-man advantage, but the visitors were unable to capitalize. Following the penalty kill, Jerry DAmigo added an empty netter to give Toronto a four-goal cushion. However, with just 1:42 remaining, Radek Faksa spoiled Marlies goaltender Drew MacIntyres bid for his third shutout of the post-season. MacIntyrre made 27 saves for his ninth win of the playoffs, while Nilstorp stopped 24 shots in the loss. Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse Sale. "Weve done a good job this year with responding when weve dealt with adversity," said Spott. "We lost two in a row, we definitely didnt play the way that we wanted to play (Wednesday). "The first (goal) was big, but the second one, thats the one thats been a challenge for us. Weve done a pretty good job getting the first goal in this series, but we wanted to have the push back right away to try to get the second one and try to back them off." With the win, Toronto avoided losing three straight for the second time all season (Nov. 9-14). Abbott opened the scoring at 1:36 of the first period, beating Nilstorp from the point. On the Marlies second power play of the night, Abbott put home the rebound off of a Brennan point shot past a sprawling Nilstorp. Holland nearly made it 3-0 at 11:20 of the first, beating Nilstorp but hitting the post. Toronto has now out-scored opponents 16-3 in the opening frame during the Calder Cup playoffs. Abbott completed the hat trick at 7:05 of the second on a two-man advantage, beating Nilstorp who was screened well by Toronto forward Josh Leivo. "It was pretty obvious we were giving him the gears a little bit before the game, but hey, whatever you need to do," said Holland of Abbotts shave. "If hes going to score three goals and hes going to help us win, then thats fine by us, but were going to ride him a little bit longer, thats for sure." The Marlies finished 3 for 6 with the man advantage while holding the Stars scoreless on five tries. Stars forward Chris Mueller had his five-game point streak halted in the loss. Notes: Marlies defenceman Korbinian Holzer missed the game with a lower-body injury and was replaced by Dylan Yeo. Veteran centre Jerred Smithson replaced Tyler Biggs on Torontos fourth line. ... Got a question on rule clarification, comments on rule enforcements or some memorable NHL stories? Kerry wants to answer your emails at cmonref@tsn. Nike Roshe Run Femme .ca! Last night I was focused on the Flyers come-from-behind win over the Red Wings on NBCSN but also kept ‘half an eye on the Montreal Canadiens frantic 4-3 shootout win over the New Jersey Devils via NHL Game Center Live on my computer screen. We have a number of questions involving two separate plays from the Canadiens-Devils game and both plays highlight the full concentration and split-second decisions required of a referee as he attempts to make the correct ruling. Obtaining the best sightline in advance is critical to correctly process information to make the right call. The first play in question was when Montreals Max Pacioretty was on a breakaway and had the shaft of his stick break as trailing defender Jon Merrill attempted a wild desperation stick swing at the attacker (Incident can be seen at 1:50 of attached highlights). I ran back in front of the television from my kitchen during an NBC intermission when I heard initial commentary that a stick slash had broken Paciorettys stick on a breakaway. I rounded the corner just in time to catch a glimpse of a replay showing the wild swing by Merrill coincide with the snap of Paciorettys stick shaft. No call resulted on the play and the initial commentary suggested a call was missed. I thought “oh no”, another missed stick slash on breakaway similar to one I viewed last week. Unaware of the time in the game this play had occurred I immediately sent out an S.O.S. via twitter; “Anybody see the broken-stick slash on a breakaway in NJ. Another non-penalty shot call. Guess they dont make sticks like they used to?” In the rush for social media assistance my misplaced question mark (?) logically appeared to some as though I was stating a call had been missed as opposed to seeking guidance. Once I was able to finally view the play it was obvious that Jon Merrills stick clearly missed making contact with both Max Pacioretty and his stick shaft. When Max pressured down on the shaft his stick simply broke. Both referee Rob Martell, who had set up in perfect position to judge the play on the ice, and Ray Ferraro on the TSN broadcast from between the benches made the right call. Both men had the perfect sightline. The other play in question involved a pretty obvious trip/slew-foot by P.K. Subban that took down Patrik Elias just prior to David Desharnais tipping in Brian Giontas shot for the tying goal with just 36.6 seconds remaining (Incident can be seen at 1:33 of attached highlights). What wasnt so obvious on the play was that Elias set an illegal pick in an attempt to lockup up Subban and prevent his forecheck pinch with the Montreal net empty. With 44 seconds remaining Peter Budaj bolted to the bench for an extra attacker. In anticipation of this the trailing referee crossed the ice from his position near the Montreal players bench to appropriately observe the legal five-foot substitution required to replace Budaj. That was all well and good, save the fact that both referees were now on the same side of the ice; opposite to where Elias and Subban contacted one another resulting in two separate infractions. Had the trailing referee been afforded the opportunity to observe this play from his normal position (near blue line on players bench side) I am confident an arm would have been raised for a delayed penalty call once Patrik Elias leaned into Subban and then placed his stick across the midsection of the Habs star defenceman. Interference would have been the delayed call. Play would then quickly have been stopped once Subban, having been blocked by the illegal pick, extended his right skate behind the left leg of Elias and tripped the Devil player to the ice with a sneaky but obvious slew-foot. Coincidental minor penalties would have been assessed and Giontas shot would not have eventually found the back of the net on the Desharnais redirection. Gaining the best sightline is crucial in being able to accurately process information on every play. Sometimes that just isnt possible. As a result of the shootout win Subban and the Montreal Canadiens have to be very pleased this was just one of those times. CHICAGO -- San Jose coach Todd McLellan gushed about the Sharks defence and effort. Nike Flyknit Lunar 2 herren . He also praised goalie Alex Stalock. What a difference a day makes. Logan Couture and Joe Pavelski scored in a shootout, and the Sharks beat the Blackhawks 3-2 on Sunday night for their first victory in Chicago in three years. "This was the best defensive effort weve had in this building in a while," McLellan said. Stalock made 33 saves through overtime as San Jose bounced back from a 4-3 loss at Colorado on Saturday. Jason Demers scored in the first period, and Brett Burns had a tying goal in the third. The Sharks allowed the first four goals in the loss to the Avalanche, and McLellan pulled Antti Niemi early in the second period in favour of Stalock. McLellan then talked about holding the goalies accountable in 2014, along with the rest of the team. "Its hard to demand perfection, but you have to demand as close as you can get to that," McLellan said. "The players tonight gave us that. It still was a tough task. To score only two and win a game against Chicago, youve done something pretty well." Couture beat Corey Crawford with a shot into the right side of the net after Stalock stopped Chicago captain Jonathan Toews leading off the shootout. Patrick Sharp then shot wide before Pavelski scored to give the Sharks their first win at the United Center since Dec. 30, 2010. Crawford made 40 saves in his first home start since he left Chicagos 6-2 victory over Florida on Dec. 8 because of a lower-body injury. He came back on Thursday and stopped 31 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss at the New York Islanders. "Its a tough loss to take when youre down by a goal, get up by one, and they tie it up again," Crawford said. "The shootout wasnt close, obviously. Tough loss." Defencemen Niklas Hjalmarsson and Michal Rozsival scored in the third period for the Blackhawks (29-7-9), who have earned at least one point in their last 10 games. It was their fifth home shootout loss. "Weve lost a few in a row here and I think it could be a little bit uncomfortable, or a lack of confidence, but weve got to work our way through it," coach Joel Quenneville said of the shootout trouble. "Weve left a lot of points on the board. "We could have put ourself in a better spot than were at. Thats been a sour spot recently." San Jose (27-10-6) trailed 2-1 before Joe Thornton made a great pass across the crease to Burns, who slammed the puck in at 11:10 of the third. Thornton has 12 assists during an eight-game point streak, running his NHL-best total to 43 on the season. San Jose had dropped six straight in Chicago by a combined score of 24-11, including a 5-1 loss on Nov. 17. The Sharks and Blackhawks are two of the top teams in the Western Conference. "Any win in here is special," Thornton said. "Its a hard place to play. They play fast. They play hard, and any win in this building is huge." The Blackhawks had few quality scoring chances in the first two periods, with most of their shots coming from the outside. Stalock grabbed most of them cleanly, and San Jose swept away any potential problems around the net. Stalock had a little trouble with a shot by Duncan Keith with 8 1/2 minutes left in the second, but he fell on the puck before Andrew Shaw could get a stick on it. The NHLs highest-scoring team appeared to be headed for its first shutout of the season before two unlikely players combined to put the Blackhawks in front. First, Hjalmarsson skated toward the middle of the ice, got a pass from Toews and beat Stalock at 1:27 of the third. Then Rozsivals long slap shot through traffic made it 2-1 just 2:34 after Hjalmarssons fourth goal. It was Rozsivals first since March 1, 2012, for Phoenix. Hjalmarsson hadnt scored since Nov. 30 at Phoenix. The Sharks grabbed the lead midway through the first period. They had an extended possession in the Blackhawks zone before Demers skated into an open area on the right side of the net and one-timed a pass from Couture past Crawford. It was Demers third goal of the season, all in his past eight games. Couture extended his point streak to five games after scoring in each of his previous four. The announced crowd of 21,599 was the 250th consecutive home sellout for the Blackhawks, counting the post-season. ... The Blackhawks scratched defencemen Michael Kostka and Sheldon Brookbank. ... A good season, yes, but as star running back Jon Cornish pointed out, people will remember this years Grey Cup winner before they remember Calgarys 14-4 record in the regular season.Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Patrick Beverley returned from a hamstring injury to give the Rockets a big lift, scoring 19 points in Houstons 100-95 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Beverley, who had missed Houstons last five games, knocked down 5-of-8 attempts from 3-point range and added six rebounds off the bench. Trevor Ariza also had 19 points in a game the Rockets led from start-to-finish en route to their seventh win in eight outings. James Harden offset a 5-of-21 shooting night by posting 12 rebounds and seven assists. He finished with 15 points, while Donatas Motiejunas had 16 along with 11 rebounds. Phoenix received 23 points from Eric Bledsoe and 16 from sixth man Gerald Green, but couldnt overcome a slow start and build off Fridays 118-106 win at Dallas. The Rockets were just a day removed from an overtime battle in Minnesota on Friday, but showed no ill effects from the short turnaround. Houston shot a scorching 63.6 percent in the first quarter and built a commanding 35-18 lead after one period, closing out the stanza on a 9-1 run that Beverley began with a 3-point basket. Houston was ahead by as many as 21 points early in the second, though the Suns closed the gap by putting forth a 15-3 surge that trimmed their deficit to 44-35 just past the midway mark of the frame. The Rockets then countered with a 14-1 sequence, during which Ariza knocked down a key 3-pointer and capped the spurt with two free throws to extend the margin to 58-36. Nike Juvenate Schwarz. Houston cruised into the break owning a 60-41 advantage. Phoenix was able to cut into the margin in the third quarter, closing within 71-60 on a Green trey with 3:13 remaining in the period. The Rockets appeared to be pulling away after reclaiming a 16-point lead with under seven minutes left, but the Suns strung together an 11-2 run to cut it to 92-85 with 3:20 remaining. The margin was just four after P.J. Tucker followed his own miss with 21.4 seconds to play to make the score 97-93. However, Goran Dragic couldnt convert a layup on the Suns next possession, and Beverley sealed the outcome by hitting two free throws with 12.3 seconds showing. Game Notes While Beverley was back in action, teammate Kostas Papanikolaou did not play after spraining his right knee in Fridays game against Minnesota. Houston is still without Dwight Howard (knee), Terrence Jones (leg) and guard Isaiah Canaan (ankle) as well ... Guard Isaiah Thomas sat out for a second straight night for Phoenix due to a bruised ankle ... Tucker finished with 15 points and eight rebounds ... The Rockets outrebounded Phoenix by a 57-40 margin, but had 24 turnovers that the Suns converted into 22 points. wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap soccer jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap nfl jerseys china ' ' '

MONTREAL -- P. Juan Fernando Quintero Colombia Jersey .K. Subban has picked the right time of the year to go on an offensive tear. The 2013 Norris Trophy winner had his third straight two-point game with a goal and an assist as the Montreal Canadiens held off the Boston Bruins for a 4-2 victory on Tuesday night to take the lead in their NHL Eastern Conference playoff series. Montreal leads the best-of-seven series 2-1 with Game 4 slated for Thursday night at the Bell Centre. "Were playing well as a team," said Subban, who has 11 points in seven post-season games. "Im just the beneficiary of the guys playing well around me, supporting me. "It starts in goal. Well, it actually starts with our coaching staff and making sure everybody is feeling confident. Were doing it together. It starts with Pricey. From our defence to our forwards. Were sticking together. When we had adversity, were sticking together doing the right things. "Its fun to play on teams where you know guys are going to support you." Lars Eller and fourth-line digger Dale Weise also had a goal and an assist each and Tomas Plekanec scored Montreals other goal. Patrice Bergeron and Andrej Meszaros scored for the Bruins. Subban became the third Canadiens defencemen to have three consecutive games of more than one point in the playoffs, after Larry Robinson in 1978 and 1987 and J.C. Tremblay in 1971. Robinsons 1978 streak stretched to five games. While Montreal has the lead in the series and has wrestled home-ice advantage from the Bruins, the series between the long-time rivals is hardly over. Boston outshot Montreal 28-26, had the Canadiens hemmed in their end for long stretches, and looked nothing like a team that is overmatched and demoralized. But unlike the first two games, they were unable to erase a two-goal Montreal lead as their frantic third-period comeback fell short and Eller ended it with an empty-net goal with three seconds left on the clock. "I dont think we played badly, we just made stupid mistakes that ended up costing us the game," said Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask. "We have to get rid of those, and keep playing like were playing. "Youre three goals behind and its tough. You battle back, but times running out. We have to try to get that lead and play with the lead." For the third straight game in the series, the Canadiens held a 3-1 lead in the third period but, this time they didnt let it slip away. In Game 2 on Saturday in Boston, the Bruins scored four goals in the final 10 minutes for a 5-3 comeback win. This time, they got one back, but it wasnt enough. Rask was pulled with 2:20 left to play. Only four seconds later, Meszaros beat Price with a high shot through traffic off a feed from Milan Lucic. Eller said the Canadiens may finally be getting a hang of retaining the lead. "We learned a little bit from the last game and we didnt panic," said the Danish centre, who has eight points in seven post-season games after a disappointing regular season. "You know they are going to come hard when youre down by two. They gave it all theyve got and we were prepared for it and held strong." "We werent as good as them in the first period and that cost us," countered Bruins forward Jarome Iginla. "After that, we were playing catch-up. "We found a way to get ourselves back in it, but the first period was the biggest difference in the game. We werent as sharp as them early." Canadian anthem singer Ginette Reno had the 21,273 at the Bell Centre at maximum loudness to start the game, but after an early flurry, the Bruins took control of the puck through the first 10 minutes of play. Then Michael Bournival made a gritty play to get the puck around the boards to Subban, who left it for Thomas Vanek for a diagonal pass that gave Plekanec a shot into an open side for his third of the playoffs at 10:57. Subban was sent off for roughing after a high hit on Reilly Smith that also took out Vanek, sending the Austrian to the clinic with an apparent right leg problem. He returned for the second period. "I spoke to him after and he said "Im fine, dont worry about it," said Subban. "I was pretty happy to see him back there skating. Obviously I dont want to hurt my own teammates with a body check, but sometimes that happens." As Subbans penalty ended, Rask neglected to alert his teammates by banging his stick on the ice. That left the defenceman open to collect Ellers pass, go in on a breakaway, put a deke on Rask and score on a low forehand shot at 14:44. Mike Weaver blocked a shot that went to Daniel Briere, who sent Weise in on a breakaway with a pass up the middle. The fourth-line winger beat Rask between the pads for a three-goal lead at 13:52 of the second. But Bergeron won a face-off from Plekanec in the Montreal zone and reached across himself to deflect Torey Krugs point shot past Price with 2:12 left in the middle period. That put the Bruins in comeback mode. But despite pushing hard, they managed only seven third-period shots. "We were very solid playing with the lead," said Montreal coach Michel Therrien, who caused a surprise by tweaking his lines, moving Vanek to the second unit with Plekanec and putting Brendan Gallagher on the top line. "We wanted energy on each line," he said. "Gallagher brings energy to any line he plays on. And Vanek made a heck of a play on the first goal, so I was pleased with the players." Notes: As expected, the Canadiens put Douglas Murray in the lineup for the first time in the post-season in place of Francis Bouillon. Travis Moen went in for Brandon Prust. Ryan White, George Parros and Jarred Tinordi were scratched. . . Gallagher celebrated his 22nd birthday. . . The Bruins made no changes, with Matt Barkowski, Justin Florek and Corey Potter sitting out. Santiago Arias Jersey . Of those five today, only Nolin is still with the "Herd" and he missed a chunk of the season with an injury. Stroman is up with the Blue Jays as a key member of the starting rotation. Drabek was just called up this past weekend to be part of the Jays bullpen after the organization decided he was better suited to relief pitching. The Ottawa Redblacks announced Wednesday they have signed the import linebacker to a contract. MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- After sleep-walking through the first half, the Grizzlies managed to wake up in time to claim their fifth straight victory at home. Zach Randolph had 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Memphis used a big second half to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-96 Saturday night. "Coach just stated the obvious -- that we cant let a team come in here and dominate us on both ends of the court," Memphis guard Mike Conley said of Dave Joergers halftime speech. "We just went out there and tried to be aggressive defensively." Randolph had 17 points in the second half to help Memphis outscore Cleveland 56-31 and rally from an early 15-point deficit. Conley and Marc Gasol scored 22 each for the Grizzlies. Conley added seven assists and Gasol had six. Courtney Lee finished with 19 points, including a career-high five 3-pointers, and Tony Allen had 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting. "Sometimes its just him getting himself going," Gasol said of Randolph in the second half. "Hes so hard to stop that no matter what they try to do its just Zach being Zach." Kyrie Irving led the Cavaliers with 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting, while Tristan Thompson was 8 of 10 for 18 points. Spencer Hawes had 13 points and Luol Deng 11. "Guys are going to make runs," Irving said. "They made their run. They had a hit-first mentality going into that second half." Memphis took control with its big third quarter and led by 91-83 with 8:56 left in the fourth. The Cavaliers used six straight points from Irving to pull within 95-94 with 4:03 left. But a baseline 8-footer by Randolph and a 3-pointer from Conley restored Memphis cushion. By the time Gasol scored on a hook shot with 1:13 left the Grizzlies lead was in double digits. "It was effort, energy and ffocus," Joerger said of the second-half effort that held the Cavaliers to 34 per cent shooting. Eder Alvarez Balanta Colombia Jersey. ".We were making one, two or three efforts. The energy picked up, and we made multiple efforts. They didnt have a lot of second chances." The Cavaliers dominated the first half, leading by as many as 15 points and taking a 65-54 lead into the break. The Grizzlies provided little resistance and Cleveland shot just under 70 per cent for much of the half before going to the locker room at 61 per cent. "In the first half we were the ones who were more physical," Cleveland coach Mike Brown said. "We were the ones hitting first." The energy and intensity increased for Memphis to open the second half and that translated into a 21-8 run to overtake Cleveland just past the midway point of the third. At that point, Cleveland had committed five turnovers in the quarter. Memphis would stretch the run to 26-8, including 17 straight points, for an 80-73 lead that became an 87-80 advantage entering the final frame. "There were positives from it," Irving said. "We fought hard to the end with the exception of the last 3 minutes. We can live with the effort." NOTES: Irving has scored at least 20 points in 17 of last 23 games. ... The Cavaliers 65 points in the first half were the most scored by a Memphis opponent in a half this season. The previous high was 62 in the second half by Dallas on Nov. 2. ... Gasol hit a shot at the end of the first quarter from beyond half court and banked it in. It was shown on the score sheet as 60 feet. It was his first 3-pointer of the season. ... The Cavaliers last won in Memphis on Jan. 13, 2009. ... The game was the nightcap of a doubleheader at the FedExForum. Liverpool, England (SportsNetwork. Nike Roshe One .com) - Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is expected to miss five to six weeks with a calf injury, the Premier League club confirmed Tuesday. Howard, 35, suffered the injury in Evertons 1-0 loss to Stoke City on Boxing Day and had to leave the match. Joel Robles, who replaced Howard against the Potters, will deputize for the American over the coming weeks. Nike Roshe One Flyknit . -- Center Max Unger and tight end Zach Miller are both probable for the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday against the New York Giants and Percy Harvins recovery continues to be slow. Nike Free Run 2 . After surprising the top-seeded Bruins with a 1-0 win in Game 1, the Red Wings hope to grab an early 2-0 lead when the Original Six rivals continue the Eastern Conference quarterfinals Sunday afternoon in Boston. http://www.freerun-norge.eu/nike-roshe-one-running/nike-roshe-one-br-2015.html . The Edmonton Eskimos signed their starting quarterback to a contract extension through the 2016 season Monday. LONDON -- Protecting 2-0 leads from their last-16 first legs, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are huge favourites to advance in the Champions League this week when they play return matches at home. Yet theres enough evidence to suggest Europes two heavyweight teams still have plenty of work to do. Barcelona has lost three of its last six matches in the Spanish league, giving Manchester City renewed hope the two-goal deficit may not be too much to bridge. Arsenal, meanwhile, heads to Bayern having won 2-0 at the Allianz Arena in a round-of-16 second leg last season. In this weeks other second legs, Atletico Madrid leads AC Milan 1-0 and Paris Saint-Germain is 4-0 in front against Bayer Leverkusen. ------ Here is a lookahead to the games in Europes top knockout competition on Tuesday and Wednesday: BAYERN MUNICH vs. ARSENAL Bayern is heeding the lesson learned from losing to Arsenal at home in the last 16 last season, when only away goals ensured progress before it went on to win the title. Another 2-0 loss on Tuesday would level the aggregate score. "If we let Arsenal have the ball, well have big, big problems," said Bayern coach Pep Guardiola, who otherwise has little to worry about. Guardiola had a full squad to choose from for Saturdays 6-1 rout at Wolfsburg. Defender Holger Badstuber was among the 20 players to travel after recovering from tearing the cruciate ligament in his right knee. The win was Bayerns 16th in a row, setting a new record in the Bundesliga, where the side is undefeated in 49 games. In inspiring Arsenal to a 4-1 win over Everton in the FA Cup quarterfinals on Saturday, Germany playmaker Mesut Ozil returned to the kind of form that persuaded the Gunners to break their club record to sign him from Real Madrid in the summer. ------ ATLETICO MADRID vs. AC MILAN Atletico Madrid will have two reasons to feel good about its chances to advance past AC Milan on Tuesday. First, leading scorer Diego Costa will be well rested after missing Saturdays Spanish league win at Celta Vigo due to a one-game suspension. Diego Costa scored the winner in Atleticos 1-0 first-leg victory at Milan. And second, David Villa has found his scoring touch after firing home two well-taken goals with Diego Costa unavailable over the weekend in Atleticos 2-0 victory in Vigo that kept it in the Spanish title chase. Coach Diego Simeone may opt to return to aligning both strikers as he did earlier in the season after not playing Villa in the first leg in Italy or in a recent derby against Real Madrid. Nike Free Run 2 norge. Milan has lost its last two Serie A matches but has Mario Balotelli back from a shoulder injury that has sidelined him since the first leg. ------ BARCELONA vs. MANCHESTER CITY Barcelona is playing its worst football since the end of last season, when the team limped to the Spanish league title. After apparently being rejuvenated under first-year coach Gerard Martino, the side has dropped points in five of the last nine rounds to go from pacesetter to chasing Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. With its domestic title defence in question, failing to protect a 2-0 first-leg advantage over City at the Camp Nou and an early exit from Europe would be nothing less than disastrous for the Catalan club. The match comes four days after Barcelona lost 1-0 at relegation-threatened Valladolid, when only Lionel Messi appeared up to the task. Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets said his team needs to rediscover "the desire to win every game." "We have had enough after this loss," Busquets said. City, meanwhile, will be hoping to build on its winning momentum since lifting the League Cup. It will have forward Sergio Aguero back from injury to help. ------ PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN vs. BAYER LEVERKUSEN PSG is all but qualified for the quarterfinals and this gives coach Laurent Blanc the chance to give some of his key players a breather for the return leg against Leverkusen. Only a monumental collapse will see the German side through but with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in a hungry mood and PSG scoring freely, it seems another hiding is the more likely scenario for Leverkusen, which has lost five of its past six games. With a tough match to follow on Sunday against in-form Saint-Etienne, it seems Blanc is already preparing ahead. "We have an important game against Saint-Etienne coming up," he said. "Whatever team is selected, theres always the same desire to win. Its important for the big teams to have this." Although Ibrahimovic should start, he could come off in the second half, thus giving Blanc the chance to switch Edinson Cavani from the right wing and play him in his favouredcentre-forward role. wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap soccer jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap nfl jerseys china ' ' '

Less than two weeks after reconstructive right knee surgery in February 2013, Lindsey Vonn already was sounding a positive note, saying she was "really looking forward to Sochi" and defending her Olympic downhill gold medal. John Guidetti Manchester City Jersey . Along the way to the next Winter Games, though, Vonn began facing more setbacks. As shed move past one, another would surface. In the end, it was too much, even for Vonn, the most accomplished U.S. ski racer in history. Expected to be one of the biggest stars at the upcoming Games, Vonn announced Tuesday -- exactly one month before the opening ceremony -- she wont be able to race in Russia. In a Facebook posting, Vonn said she is "devastated" to miss the Olympics, "but the reality has sunk in that my knee is just too unstable to compete at this level." Her personal publicist, Lewis Kay, said in a statement the 29-year-old from Vail, Colo., will have knee surgery again "shortly." Like many in her risk-filled sport, Vonn has dealt with injuries often, particularly at major events. She withdrew midway through the 2011 world championships because of a concussion. She raced with a severely bruised shin at the last Olympics. She skipped a race at the 2009 worlds after slicing her thumb open on a champagne bottle. She hurt her knee in training and missed a pair of races at the 2007 worlds. She took a scary fall during training at the 2006 Olympics, then left the hospital to compete. "Shes come back. Shell be back," Vonns father, Alan Kildow, said in a telephone interview. "Youll see a lot of Lindsey Vonn in the future." Vonn left the 2010 Vancouver Games with two medals: the first Olympic downhill gold for an American woman, and a bronze in the super-G. She is also a four-time overall World Cup champion, by far the most recognized name in Alpine skiing at the moment -- and, as it happens, the girlfriend of Tiger Woods. Add it all up, and she would have been the focus of plenty of media coverage in Sochi, certainly a main character in NBCs coverage for a U.S. audience. "Lindsey gives you great promotional value, and shes an amazing athlete and an amazing story," said Gary Zenkel, president of NBC Olympics. "But there are amazing athletes that are going to be in Sochi, many of which we know, some of which we havent identified yet." To those in the world of skiing, theres no doubt about the sports most important athlete of late. "Without Lindsey Vonn, the races are just not the same," Canadian womens Alpine coach Hugues Ansermoz said last month. "She just attracts so much interest. When Lindsey Vonn is here, there are more people coming to watch the race, there is more interest on TV, more journalists are interested. And her relationship with Tiger Woods makes even more people interested." But Vonn has rarely been present on the elite skiing circuit the past 12 months. She tore two ligaments in her right knee and broke a bone in that leg during a high-speed crash at the world championships last February. As Vonn neared a return, she re-tore her surgically repaired ACL in a crash during training in November. After finishing 40th, 11th and fifth in a trio of World Cup races at Lake Louise, Alberta, in early December, Vonn sprained her MCL during a downhill at Val dIsere, France, two weeks later. "I did everything I possibly could to somehow get strong enough to overcome having no ACL," Vonn said Tuesday via Facebook. "Im having surgery soon so that I can be ready for the World Championships at home in Vail next February," she wrote. "On a positive note, this means there will be an additional spot so that one of my teammates can go for gold." Mikaela Shiffrin, the reigning world champion in slalom, and Julia Mancuso, a three-time Olympic medallist , will now draw extra attention as American women trying to reach the Alpine skiing podium in Sochi. Top skiers from other countries who will be favoured for medals include Germanys Maria Hoefl-Riesch, Switzerlands Lara Gut, Slovenias Tina Maze and Liechtensteins Tina Weirather. Shiffrin, the U.S. teenager labeled the "next Vonn" by some, wrote on Twitter that its "hard to swallow" that Vonn wont be competing in Sochi. Another American racer, Stacey Cook, posted on Facebook: "Our team is not the same without you. You leave big shoes to fill." After skiing in two downhills and a super-G at Lake Louise last month, Vonn sounded optimistic, declaring she would be in Sochi, "fighting for my medal." But shortly thereafter in France -- with Woods watching in the finish area -- Vonn lost her balance. Her left ski lifted, forcing weight onto her right knee. She grimaced, then clutched that leg. Kay said Tuesday an MRI "showed an MCL sprain, which coupled with the torn ACL, has made it impossible to stabilize her knee and be ready to safely ski again next month." Now Vonn will turn her attention to the 2015 world championships in Colorado. Theres also this: She needs three wins to match the World Cup record of 62 race victories set by Annemarie Moser-Proell of Austria. "I have every ounce of confidence that Lindsey will be in the starting gate next World Cup season, ready to compete," said Bill Marolt, the CEO and president of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association. "She knows the hard work it takes to get to the top and still has significant goals to achieve in what has been an incredible career." U.S. racers captured eight Alpine medals four years ago, their highest total at any Olympics and twice as many as any other country at Vancouver. That figure may be tough to reach with Vonn sidelined and Bode Miller, who won three medals in 2010, trying to return to form at age 36 after left knee surgery. Whats more, Mancuso has been struggling this season. Off to a poor start in pre-Olympic races, Mancuso recently headed home for a short break. "We have a strong team that is well prepared. ... Now is the time for those athletes to step up," Marolt said. Vonn, meanwhile, will go through another operation, another rehab, another road back. "You need to look at the long run. The problem with the knee is there is not an insignificant risk that youre going to do more long-term damage that cant be repaired," said Kildow, her father. "So have it repaired now. So you can compete in future years. So you can ski and enjoy yourself after you get done competing." Krisztian Adorjan Jersey .Limited to a pair of pre-season games with the Calgary Flames because of a lower-body injury, Raymond says the first few games of the NHL season will be a lesson in adaptation. Jordan Henderson Jersey . JOHNS, N. http://www.jerseysauthenticsoccers.com/liverpool-fc-sheyi-ojo-jersey/ .Y. -- Serena and Venus Williams are not part of the Fed Cup roster submitted by U.BIRMINGHAM, England -- Ana Ivanovic, the unpredictable former world number one, has reached her first ever final on grass at the Aegon Classic, a Wimbledon warm-up tournament. After beating the ninth-seeded Zhang Shuai of China 6-2, 6-2 on Saturday, Ivanovic described the prospect of winning as a "dream." "Ten years on tour and I never have a title on grass," the 26-year-old Serb said. "That would be definitely something special." Ivanovic had an different start and went 0-2 down as she struggled to land a firstt serve. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Arsenal Jersey. However, she soon became too powerful for the 25-year-old Zhang, who was taking part in only the second grass court tournament of her career. Ivanovic became more dangerous as she grew in confidence, and her timing on the slick surface belied her years of uncertainty on grass. In Sundays final, Ivanovic faces Barbora Zahlavova Strycova, who is also playing in the first grass court final of her career. According to a report from the New York Posts Page Six, Katy Perry will perform at halftime of Super Bowl XLIX at the University of Phoenix Stadium.CALGARY -- Columbus Blue Jackets minor league call-up Cam Atkinson and goaltender Steve Mason dealt the Calgary Flames playoff hopes a serious blow Sunday night Atkinson scored the shootout winner and Mason -- who didnt even start the game -- made 28 saves as the Blue Jackets won 2-1 over Calgary. "Its a nice win," said Mason. "Its not easy coming out to the West Coast, the travel, the time change, it all plays a factor into home ice advantage out here. "To get a win here and get rewarded on the last leg of this trip is nice." Starting goaltender Curtis Sanford, who had beaten Calgary twice this year, exited the game with a lower body injury with 5:23 left in the first period. He appeared to injure his leg while involved in a scramble to the side of the net. The loss caps off a costly weekend for Calgarys pursuit of a playoff spot in the congested Western Conference. Riding a five-game winning streak entering the weekend, the Flames lost 3-1 to the 29th place Edmonton Oilers on Friday, before getting just one point against the last place Blue Jackets. Calgary remains in 11th place in the West, one point behind San Jose and Los Angeles and two back of Phoenix and Colorado, who hold down the final two playoff spots. "Our first was a little bit of a hangover from Edmonton where we werent quite as sharp or as aggressive, or competed quite as shard but from the second period on, we played hard," said Flames captain Jarome Iginla. "We competed, we got pucks to the net, we hemmed them in and we need to keep that assertive style going for us. Thats how weve got to play and its the only way were effective." The Flames begin a crucial three-game road trip Tuesday night in Colorado. "Obviously, its a playoff game, its a team ahead of us in the standings and as it stands right now, its a game we have to look like we have to win," said Calgary defenceman Mark Giordano. With neither team able to score in their first three attempts in the shootout, Atkinson, the Blue Jackets 22-year-old rookie, scored by faking a shot, then going to his forehand to put the puck past Flames goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff. "Obviously hes a talented player, skilled offensively, and he went in against one of the leagues top goalies and really made a tremendous move," said Blue Jackets interim head coach Todd Richards. Iginla was Calgarys last hope but just like Alex Tanguay, Olli Jokinen, and Curtis Glencross before him, his shot was stopped by Mason. Defenceman Nikita Nikitin scored for Columbus (23-42-7), which was playing on back-to-back nights. Jordan Reed Redskins Jersey. The Blue Jackets lost 4-3 Saturday night in Vancouver. Matt Stajan scored for Calgary (34-26-13), whose four-game home winning streak came to an end. The Flames were being outshot 5-2 when Sandford was helped off the ice. As soon as Mason settled into the net, the home side turned on the pressure and carried the play most of the rest of the game including a 16-3 advantage on shots in the second period. "We had lots of good scoring chances and we didnt give that many up. Fortunately, we didnt get it in the shootout and that stings a bit, but the guys played hard," said Iginla. Calgary tied the game 1-1 at 8:34 of the third when Glencross centred a pass to Stajan, whose quick shot went off Masons shoulder and in. It was the seventh goal of the season for Stajan, four of them coming in his last six games. "I dont think you can say we got outplayed tonight. We almost outshot them by double," said Stajan. "Sometimes we just have trouble finding the back of the net. Its not for lack of effort. We went hard the last two periods and overtime. Its just frustrating right now." The only goal of the first two periods came from Nikitin at 13:03 of the first. Brett Lebda slid a pass from the blue-line to Nikitin, who one-timed a hard slapshot past Kiprusoff. Calgarys roster had a different look with veteran Lee Stempniak back after missing 21 games with an ankle injury. However, Tanguay left the game immediately after getting elbowed in the head by Jared Boll in the Blue Jackets zone 6:31 into the second period. He did not return for the third. COLUMBUS, Ohio - The United States and Costa Rica qualified for the World Cup by getting the results they needed in Tuesdays CONCACAF regional qualifying. Cheap NFL Jerseys . The U.S. won 2-0 at home against Mexico while Costa Rica drew 1-1 at Jamaica. Their berths in the 2014 tournament were confirmed when Honduras drew 2-2 against Panama later Tuesday. Eddie Johnson and Landon Donovan scored in the second half for the Americans, which will be playing in a seventh-straight World Cup. "Im proud of this team. Im proud to be a part of it," Donovan said. "These guys put in a lot of hard work over the last two years and to have an opportunity in front of a crowd like this to qualify is pretty special." Mexico slipped to fifth in the six-team group and its chances of even taking the fourth place, which yields a further intercontinental playoff, are in jeopardy. "This a team that could and should play better," said Luis Fernando Tena, who replaced Chepo de la Torre as Mexicos coach following Fridays home loss to Honduras. "It has to take a step forward if we want to make it to the World Cup." Costa Rica also had to wait on the late result to know it had booked its World Cup berth. Randall Brenes gave the Ticos the lead in the 74th minute before Jermaine Anderson snatched a point for last-placed Jamaica by scoring in the second minute of stoppage time. It will be a return to the World Cup for Costa Rica, which appeared at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups but did not qualify for South Africa 2010. CLEVELAND -- David Murphy doesnt know why or how or what happened to fix his broken swing. DeMeco Ryans Jersey . None of that matters. Hes not asking questions. He just wants to keep hitting. "I havent felt this way in a while," he said. Murphy hit a three-run homer and had four RBIs as the Cleveland Indians took advantage of outdoor batting practice and San Diegos sloppiness to beat the Padres 8-6 on Tuesday night in their delayed interleague series opener. Murphys shot in the fourth inning off Tyson Ross (0-2) gave the Indians a 6-2 lead. He added an RBI double in the sixth and is 6 for 8 with a homer and five RBIs in his past two games. Its a dramatic change for Murphy, who batted just .204 during spring training and then opened the season 2 of 14 in Clevelands first four games. But since finding his "feel" in the batting cage a few days ago, Murphy has been making solid contact in every at-bat. Hes stunned himself with his turnaround. "Thats whats so weird about it," said Murphy, batting .364 with three doubles, a homer and six RBIs in six games. "I felt so terrible most of spring training. I didnt feel like I necessarily resembled a big league hitter, and even in the first few games of the season. Its night and day." Corey Kluber (1-1) bounced back from a rough season debut in Oakland and pitched six solid innings. John Axford stopped San Diegos rally in the ninth for his third save. The Indians were rained out for the second time Monday and have endured wintry conditions so far at home. Theyve only had BP on the field twice and have scored 15 runs in those games. Nyjer Morgan had three hits and two RBIs for the Indians, who will play their second doubleheader this season Wednesday. Jedd Gyorko had three RBIs, Everth Cabrera had three doubles and Xavier Nady homered in the ninth, when the Padres scored three runs off reliever Vinnie Pestano before Axford closed it out. But San Diego couldnt overcome two errors, five walks, two wild pitches and a passed ball. "Weve played pretty sound, fundamental baseball," Padres manager Bud Black said. "It didnt happen tonight. We made some miscues." With the Indians leading 3-2, Murphy, who had four hits in Sundays loss to Minnesota, gave the Indians a four-run cushion with his first homer since signing with Cleveland as a free agent. He batted a career-low .220 -- .084 points below his average in 2012 -- last season with Texas but is off to a good start with his new team. "Like I said the other day, its one game. Now its two games," Murphy said. "Its early in the season, but hopefully something is working here." Ross fielding error -- he dropped the ball covering first -- with one out set up the inning. Lonnie Chisenhall followed with a single and both runners moved up on a wild pitch. Ross got Yan Gomes on a grounder to third before he grooved a 3-1 pitch to Murphy, who knocked it into the right-field seats. Before the game, Indians manager Terry Francona couldnt wait to soak in some rare sunshine at Progressive Field. "Im excited to get out there, man," Francona said. "Im ready to go. We feel like weve been cooped up in here until game time." Despite getting in some extra cuts, the Indians had only one hit through three innings but led 3-0. They scored three runs in the third, when two walks, an error and a passed ball by the Padres helped their cause. Ross walked Gomes and Murphy before Yasmani Grandals passed ball put runners at first and third. Morgan hit a grounder toward right that second baseman Gyorko stopped with nice play before throwing wildly past second as Gomes scored and Murphy hustled to third. Nick Swisher hit an RBI groundout and Jason Kipnis delivered a sacrifice fly to make it 3-0. Gyorko made up for his mistake in the fourth with a two-run double, bringing in San Diegos 13th and 14th runs in seven games this season. NOTES: The Indians scored three runs in the third without a hit, the first time theyve done that since July 21, 2007. ... Indians RHP Trevor Bauer will start the second game of Wednesdays doubleheader. Bauer made four starts in his first season for Cleveland in 2013. ... The Oakville, Ont., driver was evaluated Tuesday and IndyCars medical team has yet to clear Hinchcliffe to begin Indianapolis 500 practice. He was progressing well and is now cleared to begin light training with a another evaluation set for Thursday. The 27-year old driver was diagnosed with a concussion Saturday when he was hit in the head by debris in the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis. He was taken on a stretcher to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway medical centre and was later transported to a hospital. Hinchcliffe hasnt been made available to the media since. "Pretty much the doctors said he should be a little bit disconnected," E.J. Viso said. "Just pretty much trying to stay in his room and rest." Filling in for Hinchcliffe for the third consecutive day, Viso shot straight to the top of the speed chart on the third day of practice. He reached 224.488 mph within the first 20 minutes of the start of practice. Kurt Busch was second fastest at 224.159 and Colombias Juan Pablo Montoya was third at 224.115. Just before a yellow flag for rain, Montoya pulled off the track and required a tow. The rookie reported an electrical problem with the car. "Thats why I stopped in the grass," Montoya said. "We ran a lot of laps yesterday in preparation for it, so its nothing major and it gives the guys time to catch up on the car." Meanwhile, Viso is spending each practice session with the intent to qualify and even race Hinchcliffes No. 27 car in this years Indy 500. That kind of focus, Viso believes, will have him best prepared should have be called on for the May 25 race. "I just put myself into the drivers role," he said. "I believe that its the best scenario that I could put myself in right now is with that mindset." Theres still a chance that Hinchcliffe could return in time for IndyCars signnature race. Wes Hopkins Eagles Jersey. Nothing has been offered to the Venezuelan, but if thats the case, Viso hasnt ruled out stepping into another car to race in the Indy 500. "If its a competitive ride, I will of course take it," he said. "Trust me, theres nothing worse than being lapped every two laps, so for that I truly dont know if its worth it. Its not like Im dying to do it, but Im dying to do well and to have a chance to win." Four other things to know from Tuesdays practice session: FAST HONDA: Honda engines recorded some of the top speeds, with seven of the top 10 fastest cars. The three fastest Chevy cars on Tuesday were Montoya, Scott Dixon (223.235), and rookie Sage Karam (222.635). PRACTICE CANCELLED: Teams wasted no time getting on the track for practice. Twenty-six cars made their way to the pits within the first 20 minutes of the start of practice before rain and thunderstorms ended track activity early. Teams have been pressed for time after a quick turnaround from Saturdays race. Rain is in the forecast for the remainder of the week. OPPORTUNITY TO RELAX: Josef Newgarden had no problem with Tuesdays practice being called early. The inclement weather that cut practice short gave the 23-year old and his crew a chance to relax after a busy stretch. By the third day of practice, Newgarden said many teams have made the full transformation of going from road course to oval racing in a short amount of time. "Most people by now are pretty sorted," Newgarden said. "Theres not a lot to do. Theres not big items you have to take off the list. Its all little things that youre looking for now." FIRST PRACTICE: Sebastian Saavedra returned to practice for the first time since wrecking at the start of the Grand Prix of Indianapolis. The pole-sitter for Saturdays race was clipped by Carlos Munoz before he was hit from behind by Mikhail Aleshin. Saavedra completed just seven laps and reached 208.985 mph on Tuesday. wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap soccer jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap nfl jerseys china ' ' '

KANSAS CITY, Mo. Asics Tiger Mexico 66 Weiß Blau . -- Five former Kansas City Chiefs players who were on the team between 1987 and 1993 filed a lawsuit Tuesday claiming the team hid and even lied about the risks of head injuries during that time period when there was no collective bargaining agreement in place in the NFL. The lawsuit was filed in Jackson County Circuit Court on behalf of former players Leonard Griffin, Chris Martin, Joe Phillips, Alexander Louis Cooper and Kevin Porter, all of whom played on defence. It seeks more than $15,000 in actual and punitive damages. All five players have opted out of a multimillion-dollar settlement announced this summer that would compensate former players for their head injuries. The Kansas City plaintiffs claim to be suffering from post-concussion syndrome and latent brain disease because of multiple concussions they sustained while playing for the Chiefs. They all claim also to be suffering from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, which can only be definitively diagnosed by examining the brain after death. Martin, a Kansas City resident who played linebacker for the Chiefs from 1988 to 1993, said at a news conference he didnt know that continuing to play in games after sustaining a head injury would cause permanent damage. "I would have liked to have the opportunity to know that going back on the field would cause me to have severe disabilities later in life," he said. "I didnt know that. Thats what the lawsuit is about." Chiefs spokesman Ted Crews and NFL spokesman Greg Aiello both declined to comment on the suit. Hours after Martin talked about his brain injuries, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodells wife, Jane, and the wives of former NFL players Howie Long and Mike Golic led a discussion with hundreds of mothers about why they should let their children play football. As part of the safety clinic at the Chiefs training facility, roughly 200 women of all ages took part in drills designed to teach them proper tackling techniques. Nearly a dozen former Chiefs, including Hall of Fame linebacker Bobby Bell, walked the giddy moms through the drills. Roger Goodell and Chiefs owner Clark Hunt also addressed the women, but did not bring up the lawsuit. They were not available to answer questions from the media. Plaintiffs attorney Ken McClain called the proposed $765 million settlement between the NFL and former players insignificant and said it provides compensation only to the former players with the most severe brain injuries. None of the five plaintiffs will get monetary compensation under that deal, he said. "All theyre going to be is monitored over time, but no relief will be offered to them," McClain said. "Its really a very small amount of money if you do the math. Its paid out over 20 years, its $765 million total. Its a little under $20 million a year the teams are contributing to these very severely injured people. Its not very much money." It wasnt known whether similar lawsuits might be filed in other states, given the nations patchwork workers compensation laws. McClain said Missouri presented a "unique opportunity" because a state workers comp statute was amended in 2005 to exclude cases of occupational injury that occur over an extended time. That exception more commonly applies in workplaces where smoking is allowed and workers suffer lung problems because of it. McClain also represented workers at a Jasper popcorn plant who were awarded millions of dollars in lawsuits claiming they got cancer because of a chemical in butter flavouring used at the plant. The lawsuit says the Chiefs ignored decades of research indicating that concussions cause long-term brain damage, instead referring to the injuries as "getting your bell rung" or a "ding." It accuses the team of lying to players in saying concussions are not serious injuries. "Every time I would get a head injury I would stay in or come to the side and get smelling salts and go back in," Martin said. "The pressure was there. If you were first team, you got all the reps." McClain said the notion that CTE can be diagnosed only through a post-mortem examination is outdated. "Thats an old position," he said. "Most of the neurologists weve been in discussion with believe most if not all professional football players do have CTE to some degree or another." Fellow plaintiffs attorney Dirk Vandever cited a recent UCLA study in which researchers said they were able to correlate some of the clinical problems they found and conclude they likely represent CTE. "After you see 19 out of 20 brains autopsied have CTE, as well as the ongoing widespread nature of the injury to players, doctors are fairly able to conclude players, based upon their symptomology, do or do not have the disease," Vandever said. In recent years, a string of former NFL players and other athletes who suffered concussions have been diagnosed after their deaths with CTE, including Junior Seau and Ray Easterling, who both committed suicide. In August, the NFL agreed to settle lawsuits filed by more than 4,500 former players who developed dementia or other concussion-related health problems they say were caused by playing football. The settlement, subject to approval by a federal judge in Philadelphia, would apply to all past NFL players and spouses of those who are deceased. Plaintiffs attorneys say individual payouts would be capped at $5 million for men with Alzheimers disease; $4 million for those diagnosed after their deaths with a brain condition called chronic traumatic encephalopathy; and $3 million for players with dementia. About 19,000 retired players would be eligible to seek awards or medical testing, but current players are not part of the deal. The settlement does not include an admission from the NFL that it hid information from players about head injuries. At the time, the settlement announcement appeared to remove a major legal and financial threat hanging over the NFL. But if too many former players opt out, the deal could fall apart. LONDON, Ont. Nike Air Max 90 Womens Pink . -- The Guelph Storm booked a ticket to the Memorial Cup final with a 6-3 win over the Val-dOr Foreurs on Monday. At 2-0, the Ontario Hockey League champions were assured a berth in Sundays championship game. The Storm conclude the round-robin Wednesday against the winless London Knights. The Foreurs and Western Hockey Leagues Edmonton Oil Kings were both 1-1 and meet Tuesday night. Kerby Rychel, Zach Mitchell, Jason Dickinson, Robby Fabbri, Pius Suter, and Tyler Bertuzzi all scored for the explosive Storm, who have 11 goals in two games in the tournament. Scott Kosmachuk had three assists for Guelph. Mitchell, Brock McGinn and captain Matt Finn each had two assists. Timotej Sille replied with a goal and an assist for Val-dOr. Anthony Beauregard and Randy Gazzola also scored for the Foreurs. Storm goalie Justin Nichols made 30 saves for the win. Val-dOr goalie Antoine Bibeau stopped 30 of 36 shots. He was replaced after two periods by Keven Bouchard, who turned away all 13 he faced. Storm defenceman Chadd Bauman was tossed from the game in the third period for knee-on-knee contact with Val-dOr defenceman Guillaume Gelinas. The Foreurs assistant captain favoured his left knee as he was helped from the ice. Guelph opened the tournament with a 5-2 win over the Oil Kings on Saturday. The Storm were the highestest scoring major junior team in Canada this season with 340 goals. They continue to demonstrate their speed that stretches a defence as well as a wealth of scoring talent, led by Rychel with three goals and an assist in the tournament. The Storm rattled off four unanswered goals, including three within the first six minutes, before the Foreurs could counter in the second. The team with the best record at the conclusion of the round robin gets the bye to the final. Its an advantage in winning the Cup, but less so than it once was. Since a day of rest between the semifinal and final was incorporated into the tournament format in 2007, the team with the bye hoisted the trophy four of seven years. The teams finishing second and third meet in Fridays semifinal. Two teams tied for third will require a tiebreaker game Thursday. So the host Knights need a win over Guelph on Wednesday or their tournament is over. The Storm eliminated the Knights in the second round of OHL playoffs on Apr. 11. The Memorial Cup went to a four-team tournament with the addition of a host club in 1983. When the semifinal and final were played on back-to-back days, the team with the bye won the Cup 17 of 24 years. The Guelph Storm are looking for their first Memorial Cup in their 23-year history. The Guelph Platers won the Cup in 1986 before relocating to Owen Sound, Ont. Bibeau stopped all 51 shots in Val-dOrs 1-0 win over the Knights to start the tournament, but he gave up three goals on the first seven shots he faced Monday. The Foreurs had just three days between winning Game 7 of their QMJHL final in Baie-Comeau, Que., and their first game in London. But even with two days of rest after their opener, Val-dOr wasnt as tenacious on the puck as the Storm and the defence around their own net was sloppy. Beauregard finished a tic-tac-toe passing play for a power-play goal during Baumans five-minute major midway through the third period. Guelphs Bertuzzi had time for two swings at a rebound and scored with seven seconds to go in the second period to make it 6-2. Fabbri took a backhand pass from Mitchell and whipped the puck by Bibeau at 16:04. Sille poked a loose puck by Nichols during a goal-mouth scramble at 12:55 to temporarily shrink Guelphs lead. Gazzolas wrist shot from the top of the faceoff circle beat Nichols for a power-play goal at 11:59. Guelphs Suter batted a rebound into a backhand at 8:13. The Foreurs allowed Dickinson to buzz across the top of the offensive zone and into the slot, where his off-speed shot squeaked through Bibeaus pads at 5:50 of the first period. Mitchell beat Bibeau with a sharp-angled wrist shot four minutes into the game. Fabbri fed Rychel at the side of the net and the Columbus Blue Jackets prospect chipped the puck in 59 seconds into the game. Milan Michalek and Mark Stone each scored in the closing minutes of the second period, and Bobby Ryan and Jean-Gabriel Pageau added goals very early in the third period. Ottawa also got goals from Mike Hoffman, Erik Karlsson and Mika Zibanejad to win for the second time in three games. Marc Methot tallied a career-high three assists. Mike Smith allowed five Senators goals on 20 shots against him before getting the hook in the third period. Zbynek Michalek and Sam Gagner scored Arizonas goals as the Coyotes fell to 1-3-2 on their ongoing eight-game road trip. After two goals were scored in the first 69 seconds of the game, it took until late in the second period for either team to light the lamp again. Milan Michalek skated around two Coyotes before snapping a shot past Smith to break the 1-1 tie. Stone extended Ottawas lead two minutes later when he deflected Methots point shot. Ottawa added to its lead right after a successful penalty kill early in the third period. A Coyotes turnover exiting the zone sent the Senators moving the other way. One game after only needing five seconds in a period to score a goal, Arizona got off to another fast start against Ottawa. Zbynek Michalek scored just 40 seconds into the game when his wrist shot deflected off Methots glove into the net. Hoffman only needed 29 seconds to tie the game when he wristed a loose puck by Smith. Game Notes Ottawa swept the season series, outscoring Arizona 12-3 ... Fair has been a member of both. This current one, he says, is "a hard-fought 20-game winning streak." Not much came easy during the Oranges latest victory. No. 2 Syracuse matched the best start in program history Wednesday night, pulling away to beat Wake Forest 67-57 behind a strong second half from freshman Tyler Ennis. Ennis scored 16 of his 18 points after halftime and Fair finished with 16 points for the Orange (20-0, 7-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), while Trevor Cooney scored all eight of his in the final 1:45. Syracuse remained one of three unbeaten teams in Division I with No. 1 Arizona, which beat Stanford 60-57 on Wednesday, and No. 4 Wichita State. The Orange pulled away late while sidestepping a possible trap with a visit from No. 17 Duke coming up this weekend, and joined the 2011-12 group as the only Orange teams to start 20-0. "Weve got a long stretch ahead of us," Fair said. In their first visit to Tobacco Road as ACC members, they had to work for it against a Wake Forest team that had been perfect at home and tough on visitors in the top five. "It was just one of those games youre just trying to struggle through defensively, and we did just a good enough job defensively to be able to get the win," coach Jim Boeheim said. "You have to find a way to win these games, and this team has been able to do that." Travis McKie scored 12 points for the Demon Deacons (14-7, 4-4), and his free throw with 4:10 left pulled them to 54-49. But while Wake Forest came up empty on its next two trips down court, Cooney caught fire. "We needed one of those timely 3s to go in," McKie said. "If we just wouldve got three more of those 3s to go in, wed be looking at a different outcome." The guard buried a fall-away jumper that he called "the toughest shot I had all day." He followed that with two free throws to give Syracuse its first double-figure lead and streaked down court for an open-court dunk after a steal by Fair to put the Orange up 62-50 with 1:19 left. Devin Thomas scored 12 points for Wake Forest, which had won 13 straight at Joel Coliseum and had won three straight home games against top-five teams -- a run that included a rout of then-No. 2 Miami last season. Just about all of the Demon Deacons key stats suggested they would be blown out: They shot 34 per cent, were outrebounded 55-35, made just three of their 20 3-point attempts and were 18 of 30 from the free throw line. "Theyre long and athletic, so their zone is definitely a force to be reckoned with," McKie said. "We had great looks. We just didnt knock it down." But some of the Oranges numbers were equally poor -- they shot 36 per cent and were 22 of 33 from the free throw line -- and that allowed Wake Forest to stay within striking distance for much of the game. "For the most part, we did a good job on their shooters, and when they got an open look, they just didnt make it," Boeheim said. "Same as us." Joel Coliseum was buzzing when Wake Forest turned an eight-point deficit into a one-possession game in the span of a few seconds midway through the second half. Robert Morris transfer Coron Williams swished a 3-pointer before Madison Jones swiped the ball from Cooney and hit a quick layup to make it 40-37 with 12 1/2 minutes left. Ennis, who was 0 for 6 from the field in the first half, followed by reeling off eight points -- all on drives down or across the lane -- in about 4 minutes to give the Orange a bit of breathing room. His finger roll helped Syracuse match its largest lead to that point, 48-40, with about 8 1/2 minutes left. Jerami Grant finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Orange. wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap soccer jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap nfl jerseys china ' ' '

NEW YORK - While the records may not indicate it, Thursday nights battle between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden should be a marquee matchup. Nike Air Huarache Run . The Heat are back near their usual perch atop the basketball world, but the Knicks struggles this season have been well documented. You can watch all the action as part of an NBA on TSN doubleheader beginning at 8pm et/5pm pt. The latest problem for the Knicks involves J.R. Smith and it might have been one of his worst transgressions. The NBA fined Smith $50,000 on Wednesday for "instances of unsportsmanlike conduct," stemming from two incidents where Smith tried untying an opponents shoelaces. After the first, Smith was warned by the league, but he did it again, and is $50,000 poorer. His coach is no longer amused. "Im not happy about this because he was warned, he comes back, and he makes the same mistake, and its not right," head coach Mike Woodson told ESPN New York 98.7 FM. "Its just got to stop. I keep saying this every time something pops up, but its got to stop." On the court, Smith hasnt been anywhere near as good as last season when he won the Sixth Man of the Year award. He is averaging 11.3 ppg and shooting 34.8 percent from the field. Despite Smiths antics, the Knicks have been playing well of late. Theyve won two in a row and three of four, but are just 1-4 in their last five at MSG. For the season, the Knicks are a disappointing 5-12 at home. On Tuesday, New York took care of its business at home with an 89-85 victory over the Detroit Pistons. Carmelo Anthony poured in a game-high 34 points and Andrea Bargnani registered a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Raymond Felton scored 12 points for New York. Tyson Chandler missed the game with an upper respiratory infection and is listed as questionable. The Knicks are 14 1/2 games behind the Heat in the Eastern Conference. Last season, these teams finished Nos. 1 and 2, and the Knicks beat the Heat three times in the regular season, including both trips to Miami. The Heat have been very strong of late, winning three straight, five of six and 11 of 13. Theyve won three consecutive road games and that will help as they embark on a six-game odyssey with visits to New York, Brooklyn, Washington, Philadelphia, Charlotte and Atlanta. "It felt like we just got home," said LeBron James, referring to the teams recent four-game trip out west. "We have to refocus on what the road is all about. "The Knicks are playing much better than they were. Its the Mecca of basketball. Its always great to be there." On Tuesday, the Heat overcame a double-digit deficit in the second half, thanks to James, and bested the New Orleans Pelicans, 107-88, in South Beach. James scored 19 in the third quarter alone and finished with 32 points. "I was able to get into a good rhythm and just try to keep it going and regain some momentum," James said of his third-quarter performance. Dwyane Wade added 22 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for Miami, which outscored the Pelicans 64-39 in the final 24 minutes after trailing by six at halftime. Chris Andersen added 15 points off the bench on 7-of-7 shooting. The Heat were without starters Mario Chalmers (Achilles) and Shane Battier (quad). Both players are considered day-to-day. While the Knicks won three of four last season, the Heat are 11-5 in the last 16 meetings between the teams. Miami has won five of its last seven in Madison Square Garden. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER AT DENVER NUGGETS DENVER - After an eight-game losing streak, the Denver Nuggets have won three straight, but will face a stiff challenge Thursday night when the Oklahoma City Thunder head to the Pepsi Center. Catch the action as the second part of an NBA on TSN doubleheader at 10:30pm et/7:30pm pt. The Nuggets havent looked back after the disastrous run over the holidays. They snapped the slide at home against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, throttled the Los Angeles Lakers in Hollywood on Sunday, then squashed the Boston Celtics by 31 at home on Tuesday. Randy Foye had 23 points, Ty Lawson scored 19 with 13 assists and the Nuggets led wire-to-wire in a 129-98 rout of the Celtics. Kenneth Faried added 21 points and 13 rebounds and J.J. Hickson scored 17 for the Nuggets. Denver coach Brian Shaw received two technical fouls and was ejected with 2:43 left in the third for arguing with officials during a timeout while his team was up by 28. "We punish criers. We dont cry," he said. "Fortunately for us, it wasnt a situation where it cost us." Denvers starting backcourt has been on a tear of late. Foye is 11-for-20 from 3-point range during the winning streak and Lawson has recorded four consecutive double-doubles. Wilson Chandler (strained left groin) and Nate Robinson (sprained right ankle) sat out practice on Wednesday and are listed as game-time decisions. The Thunder had a two-game winning streak and eight-game road winning streak snapped on Tuesday with a 112-101 setback in Salt Lake City to the Utah Jazz. OKC has now dropped three of its last five. Kevin Durant tied an NBA season-high with 48 points to add to his seven boards, five assists and four steals, and Reggie Jackson added another 20 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals for the Thunder in their fifth road loss of the season. They were the only two Thunder players in double figures. "We fought but we cant play for just one quarter," Durant said. "We didnt have toughness tonight. Too many mental mistakes from everybody and they capitalized on it. You give a team confidence, theyre going to have it the whole game." The Thunders eight straight road victories entering the game was the longest for the franchise since Jan. 24-Feb. 27, 2002. Serge Ibaka didnt play against the Jazz due to flu-like symptoms and hes listed as day-to-day. The Thunder won the first two of this seasons matchups -- one in Denver and one in Oklahoma City. Those wins snapped a three-game series losing streak for the Thunder, who have lost nine of their last 12 in the Mile High City. Nike Roshe Run 3 .Y. -- The bidding for the Buffalo Bills is set to begin now that prospective ownership groups are being contacted by a law firm representing late owner Ralph Wilsons estate. Nike Air Huarache Enfants .A. Dickey will once again be their Opening Day starter. Jays manager John Gibbons made the announcement at the teams training complex in Dunedin, Florida. http://www.frpaschernike.org/nike-roshe-run-low.html . Caboclo, an 18-year-old Brazilian forward, is under contract through the 2015-16 season, with two team option years to follow.KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Rick Porcello has an AL-leading 12 wins and a 3.39 ERA for the first-place Detroit Tigers. His manager believes thats good enough for the right-hander to be on the All-Star team. However, Porcello, who has a family fishing trip planned for the All-Star break, hasnt been picked for the team yet. "I think he clearly is an All-Star," Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said after Porcello pitched seven strong innings in Detroits 5-1 victory over Kansas City on Saturday. "Hes got 12 wins, An ERA in the low 3s. Theres going to be snubs every year at the All-Star break and I think hes clearly a snub." Porcello (12-5) outpitched James Shields as the Tigers won their fifth in a row. He also raised his career record against Kansas City to 8-3 while yielding six hits and one run to help give Detroit a 7 1/2-game cushion over Kansas City in the AL Central. Alex Avila drove in three runs, putting the Tigers in position to go for a four-game sweep on Sunday. Porcello, who has won four of his last five decisions and been key in Detroits taking a big lead in the division, is fine whether or not hes selected for the All-Star game. "Thats not my decision," he said. "I just go out there and pitch and let everybody else take care of that." His teammates clearly believe Porcello deserves to be there when the games elite are introduced. "We all thought he definitely deserved (a selection), but I will say that is a tough group he was in, that final vote," said Avila, who drove in three runs with a single and a ninth-inning homer. "All those guys did deserve it, too. Theres always going to be a guy who gets left out." The Royals have lost six of their last eight and are 0-6 at home against Detroit this year. "To this point, weve underachieved but were still seven games better than we were at this point last year,&" Kansas City manager Ned Yost said. Nike Roshe Run Print. . "We know were a second-half club. Weve been a second-half club." Shields (9-5) allowed two runs and seven hits in seven innings. He struck out eight and walked none while throwing 121 pitches. The Tigers scored three in the ninth against reliever Aaron Crow, starting with J.D. Martinezs leadoff home run. Nick Castellanos was safe at first after a replay review overturned a call, and Avila hit a 427-foot homer. Ian Kinslers RBI single put the Tigers on top 1-0 in the third. In the fourth, Torii Hunter hit a drive into straightaway centre field over the head of Jarrod Dyson and turned it into his first triple of the season. The relay throw actually beat the sliding Hunter to the bag, but he was safe when third baseman Mike Moustakas failed to get the tag down. Avilas RBI single made it 2-0. Billy Butler had a sacrifice fly in the sixth after the Royals had wasted several scoring chances. Alcides Escobar bounced into an inning-ending double play in the second, Lorenzo Cain did the same in the third and then, with the bases loaded and two out in the fifth, Porcello struck out Cain on a 2-2 pitch. Al Alburquerque pitched a perfect ninth for the Tigers, who held the Royals to one run for the second night in a row. NOTES: Austin Jackson has led off the Tigers first inning with a base hit in all three games of the series. ... Cain made a terrific catch of Miguel Cabreras opposite-field drive in the first, snaring the ball just as he crashed hard into the wall. ... Both starters laboured, but after four innings, Shields had thrown 78 pitches and Porcello 40. ... It was the 12th time in his career that Shields has thrown 121 or more pitches. ... Eric Hosmers first-inning single stretched his hitting streak to a career-best 12 games for the Royals. wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap soccer jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap nfl jerseys china ' ' '

NEW YORK -- It was advantage Rangers on Saturday in the off-ice gamesmanship that is running parallel to the Eastern Conference final between New York and Montreal. Nike Flyknit Lunar 2 Günstig . There has been no shortage of storylines in this series, which has already featured one surgery and two suspensions in three games. And with two days off between Games 3 and 4, the old adage that idle hands are the devils workshop was proved true at Madison Square Garden when two New York assistant coaches showed up to watch Montreal practise. The intrusion seemed squarely aimed at getting under Montreals skin. When Canadiens goalie coach Stephane Waite noticed the break in protocol, he told head coach Michel Therrien. As the players stretched, Therrien moved down the rink and had words with Rangers assistant Ulf Samuelsson. Observers said the exchange was somewhat prickly. Samuelsson, no stranger to antagonizing rivals during his playing days, and fellow assistant coach Dan Lacroix left soon after. Therrien told reporters later there was a "gentlemans agreement" that rival coaches dont attend practices on non-game days. The idea is to allow coaches to make changes or test out new strategies in private. "When we saw those assistant coaches there, they were not supposed to be there, so we let them know," Therrien said pithily. New York president and GM Glen Sather watched the practice from one of the top rows of the lower bowl at Madison Square Garden, seemingly more interested in his phone than what was happening on the ice. Game 4 is Sunday night. The Rangers lead the series two games to one. While coaches seemed hot and bothered over the presence of the Rangers coaches, Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban was oblivious. "I get in trouble when Im looking up in the stands," he said, drawing laughs. The Canadiens, coming off a bitter seven-game battle with their rival Bruins, are finding themselves down and dirty again in the trenches with the Rangers. The series has already left an ugly trail. Montreals Brandon Prust has been suspended two games for the Game 3 hit that broke Derek Stepans jaw. Rangers agitator Dan Carcillo has been banned for 10 games for jostling a linesman in the wake of the Prust hit. And Stepan was recovering in hospital Saturday from surgery to repair his jaw. Carcillo has requested that NHL commissioner Gary Bettman review the 10-game suspension, according to the NHL Players Association. "I think its building," Habs forward Brendan Gallagher said of the animosity between the two teams, which he has helped grow by throwing his five-foot-nine, 180-pound body around with reckless abandon. "Last game, it certainly took a big step forward," he added. Gallagher looks like his mum still packs him a lunch. But he is fearless, a hockey Smurf full of grit and attitude. While his assistants were stirring the pot Saturday, Rangers coach Alain Vigneault -- the picture of calm normally -- was still burning over the missed call on the Prust hit and the domino-effect mayhem that ensued. "At the end of the day if the right call is made on the ice, that whole situation doesnt happen," he lamented. The war of words continued on the Rangers website, which noted Stepan was New Yorks second-leading playoff scorer while fourth-liner Prust "has had trouble keeping up with the speedy Rangers through the first three games of this series." The good news for Vigneault was word that Derick Brassard is healthy. The New York centre left early in Game 1 with an upper body injury after being checked by Canadiens defenceman Mike Weaver and has not played since. Brassard told reporters after practice that he was good to go. That brought a smile to the face of Vigneault. "I was told he cleared himself," Vigneault said with a laugh. "Thats good to know. He didnt tell me." As one might expect, Vigneault said Stepan was "unlikely" to play Sunday. The 23-year-old centre has not missed a game since coming into the league in the 2010-11 season. Carcillo declined to speak to reporters Saturday. But Vigneault said the player knew he needed to have kept control of himself. "I cant begin to tell you how bad he feels about the whole thing," the coach said. "His situation, his personal future, the team. Theres nothing he can do about it now and theres nothing we can do about it." Forward Brad Richards called the abrasive Carcillo "a great teammate." "I heard a lot about him before but I dont have one bad thing to say about him." The New York players, for the most part, had little to say about the length of the ban to Prust, a former Ranger. But goalie Henrik Lundqvist said that hot spots in the playoffs usually cool down in the off-season. "Especially during the playoffs, you dont see your opponents as friends, even though youve played with them. Right now I dont have any friends in Montreal," the stylish Swede said with a chuckle. "Theyre just enemies and you play it that way. Thats your approach. "But you also have to understand this game, you know, theres a lot of players that play on the edge. Thats their role, thats what they do. Theyre always going to play it like that and sometimes things happen and maybe they take it a little too far. As it comes to relationships, as friends, in the summertime you move past it. "But right now, do I like what happened? Absolutely not. But its on the ice, it happens on the ice. It is what it is." Michael Bournival slotted into Prusts place on Montreals fourth line in practice. Francis Bouillon was skating in place of Nathan Beaulieu on defence. Subban and other Habs said, despite the Game 3 overtime win, the Canadiens have more in the tank. "I dont think weve played our best hockey yet this series," said Subban. And they acknowledged that they cannot rely on young goalie Dustin Tokarskis heroics, as they did last time out. "We now we cant expect him to do that every game, so we want to be better in front of him," said Canadiens captain Brian Gionta. On the Rangers side, J.T. Miller was skating in place of Carcillo on the fourth line with Derek Dorsett and Brian Boyle. New York gave winger Chris Kreider a "maintenance day" off. That meant Dominic Moore skated with Rick Nash and Jesper Fast, filling in for Kreider. NOTES: Game 4 will be shown at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Canadiens officials say more than 20,000 tickets have already been snapped up. Nike Juvenate Schwarz . So would Roberto Luongo. Instead, the high cost of insurance will limit them to some optional off-ice workouts and maybe some golf on the side. Nike Juvenate Schwarz weiß . 5 Baylor wiped out a 21-point deficit in the final 11 minutes to beat No. 9 TCU 61-58 on Saturday. http://www.flyknittrainer.de/nike-juvenate-damen-sale.html . The Kandahar course has been modified slightly to return to its original design but the 30-year-old from Mont-Tremblant, Que., Guay still had the fastest time of one minute 57.08 seconds. Adrian Theaux was second to lead three Frenchmen in the top 10 by covering the 3,256-metre course in 1:57.CALGARY -- Mikael Backlund scored twice, including the winner, as the Calgary Flames edged the Minnesota Wild 4-3 in overtime on Saturday. Backlund took the puck to the net and sent a pass to Sean Monahan, whos shot was stopped by Wild netminder Darcy Kuemper. The puck, however, bounced into the air and Backlund batted it down and past Kuemper at 2:25 of extra time. Its Calgarys fifth straight victory and also completes a perfect 5-0-0 homestand. The last time the Flames swept a homestand of that length was in 1997 - Jarome Iginlas rookie season. TJ Galiardi, with his first goal in 38 games, and Dennis Wideman also scored for Calgary (21-27-7), which last won five games in a row in March 2012. Mark Giordano had two assists to extend his career-high point streak to nine games, which includes four goals and six assists. Matt Cooke, Dany Heatley and Keith Ballard scored for Minnesota (29-21-7). Trailing 3-1 halfway through the third period, the Wild drew to within one on Dany Heatleys power-play goal at 10:31. Ballard then silenced the Scotiabank Saddledome sell-out crowd of 19,289 with the tying goal at 15:55. On a Minnesota rush, Ballard got caught up with Wideman as he drove the net. With Wideman tangled up with goaltender Reto Berra, Ballard backed away just in time to one-time a centring pass from Kyle Brodziak into the top corner. It was back on Oct. 4 in the Flames second game of the season in Columbus when Galiardi, acquired in an off-season trade with San Jose, scored his first goal as a Flame. Little did the Calgary native know at the time it would take nearly four months for him to score again. However, he did make it a beauty when he finally ended the drought at 12:36 of the first period to give the Flames a 1-0 lead. After getting a pass from Kevin Westgarth, Galiardi spun and quickly sent a backhand into the top corner. Immediately, the 25-year-old loooked skywards in a show of both relief and shock that he finally scored. Nike Flyknit Lunar 2 Schwarz. That lead would hold up until 14:03 of the second period when Cooke tied it for the Wild while shorthanded. Cooke burst down the left wing and from just inside the top of the face-off circle blasted a slapshot over the shoulder of Berra. Berra did not start the game for the Flames. He entered with 2:28 left in the first period when Karri Ramo left with a lower-body injury. The Flames regained the lead with 1:36 left in the second on a nifty deflection from Wideman. Shortly after failing to score on a power play, Chris Butler fired a shot from the blue-line that Wideman redirected thigh-high from the high slot and past Kuemper. Calgary surged in front 3-1 one minute into the third period when Backlund finished off a three-on-one for the Flames. The shorthanded goal was the third of the season for Backlund, moving him into a tie for second in the NHL behind Bostons Brad Marchand. While most of the season has seen Calgary equally divide up the starts between Ramo and Berra, Ramo (11-10-4) had been the better of the two in recent weeks and had been getting the majority of the playing time with Saturday being his sixth start in the last seven contests. Berra had 14 saves to improve to 7-14-2. He has yet to win in regulation, with four shootout victories and Saturday being his third overtime win. Kuemper made his 10th straight start in net for the Wild. He had 28 saves to fall to 6-4-1. Notes: The Flames final three games before the Olympic break will be on the road beginning in Montreal on Tuesday... Minnesota plays twice at home before its break begins... The Flames have eight shorthanded goals, which is second in the NHL behind Carolina (9)... Flames D Kris Russell (upper body) did not play. Taking his spot was Chris Breen, who played for the first time since being recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) on Jan. 26. wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap soccer jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap nfl jerseys china ' ' '

NEW YORK -- Forwards Johan Franzen of the Detroit Red Wings and Adam Henrique of the New Jersey Devils along with Minnesota Wild goalie Darcy Kuemper were named the NHLs three stars of the week Monday. Nike Roshe One Flyknit Mens Black . Franzen had three goals and two assists in leading Detroit to a pair of road wins following the Olympic break. The 34-year-old native of Vetlanda, Sweden, has 12 goals and 28 points in 33 games this season. Henrique shared the league lead in goals (four), points (six) and power-play goals (two) as New Jersey won two-of-three games. The 24-year-old Brantford, Ont., native has 18 goals and 15 assists in 62 games. Kuemper won both starts with Minnesota, stopping 51-of-52 shots faced. Kuemper, 24, of Saskatoon, has a 10-3-2 record, 2.20 goals-against average and .924 save percentage. Nike Roshe One Flyknit Grey and black . Manu Ginobili scored 28 points, Tony Parker added 22, and Tim Duncan had 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead San Antonio to a 112-104 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night. Nike Flyknit Air Max . 8 Ben Morgan for the injured Billy Vunipola was the only change in the England run-on side for the Six Nations showdown with Wales at Twickenham on Sunday. http://www.nikeflyknituk.com/2015-nike-flyknit-air-max.html . JORDAN CRAWFORD (Warriors): The Golden State Warriors have reportedly acquired guards Jordan Crawford and MarShon Brooks from the Boston Celtics Wednesday as part of a three-team trade.SACRAMENTO - Some say that living well is the best revenge. At least four players on the Raptors roster subscribe to that philosophy. When Torontos Patrick Patterson, John Salmons, Greivis Vasquez and Chuck Hayes return to Sacramentos Sleep Train Arena Wednesday, theyll be feeling a lot better about themselves than when they were last in the building, when they called it home. Its been nearly two full months since that fateful night in Los Angeles when a seven-player trade shook the foundation of the Raptors franchise. As reports began to circulate hours before tip-off, the timing of the deal caught everyone off guard. In exchange for the bloated contract and modest production of Rudy Gay - along with Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray - Toronto took back four veteran wild cards. Each of the four had experienced some level of individual success in the league. Vasquez and Patterson - the youngest of the four - were both coming off career seasons, one in New Orleans, the other in Houston. Hayes - a nine-year vet - had been a starter with the Rockets and Salmons, now in his 12th season, was a key contributor to playoff teams in Chicago and Milwaukee. At 34 and 30 respectfully, Salmons and Hayes immediately became the elder statesmen on a young Raptors squad. Each of them had started in at least one of Sacramentos first 18 games. They were rotation players for a team that was 5-13 at the time of the trade. "Coming from here in Sacramento, things werent that great," Salmons said, candidly reflecting back on the trade after wrapping up practice in the Kings gym Tuesday. "So when we got the opportunity to come here we just wanted to take advantage of it. Losings not fun and this team had a chance to make a run at the playoffs." Without Gay, who was shooting 39 per cent and hoisting just under 19 shots per game, most anticipated there would be at least some addition by subtraction but no one - even internally - knew what to expect from the incoming Kings players. Likewise, they didnt know what to expect from a Raptors team that had a 6-12 record prior to that game in LA on Dec. 8. "I mean you hear stuff about other teams, but the only thing you really know is their record," Salmons added. "You know their record, you know their roster but you dont know the whole story. So coming in all we saw was the record, we didnt know that the locker room was full of good guys." Toronto has gone 19-10 since the trade was made official, 19-9 since the acquired players made their Raptor debuts, good for the third-best record in the Eastern Conference over that stretch. Not only did the trade improve the Raptors bench, it made their bench. On most nights, Dwane Casey has settled into a strict nine-man rotation, using the four ex-Kings as his primary reserves. Torontos bench combined for 35 points on 52 per cent shooting in Mondays win over the Jazz. They have scored 30 or more in three of the last five contests and are averaging 26.6 points since the trade. Casey has entrusted them to be on the floor in key situations. Quite frankly, theyve earned it. "I feel like we got ffour veteran, solid players that really helped us in a lot of different ways and gave us some toughness off the bench," the Raptors coach said. nike roshe one flyknit womens black. "Right now, obviously [Toronto is] playing at a very high level," said Kings coach Mike Malone. "I think all four of our guys are helping them at different points." The newcomers have each put their stamp on the teams run. Often the first player off the bench, Patterson is logging fewer minutes than he was in Sacramento, yet averaging three more points per game, contributing nearly 10 as a Raptor. Hayes has carved out a niche as a reliable, savvy and hardworking stopper and rebounder. Salmons, a two-way player, has become Torontos third ball handler. Of the four, Vasquez is the only one who has seen his scoring average dip since coming to the Raptors. Still, hes not complaining. "Im in a different situation right now and Im pretty happy," said Vasquez, who has stepped in as a reliable backup to Kyle Lowry, something the team was desperately searching for early in the season. "I think winning really makes everything so much better. Id rather be in a winning program right now than going through a tough time [in Sacramento]." You would have to be naive to think that Wednesdays return to Sacramento is just another game for those four. The Kings are 11-19 since sending them to Toronto and the statement theyre hoping to make has more to do with their collective success than individual performances. "You always look forward to playing the team that traded you," said Vasquez, averaging seven points and four assists with the Raptors. "More than that its about winning. At the end of the day, whether I play well, whether I dont play well, I just want to go back to Sacramento with a win." Vasquez was only with the Kings for a couple months to begin the season. For Salmons, his connection with the Sacramento franchise goes back seven years. In 2006, the Philadelphia-native pulled out of a deal with the Raptors to sign in Sacramento. After being moved to the Bulls, then to the Bucks, Salmons eventually found his way back to the Kings but became expendable when new ownership decided to take the team in a different direction. The trade to Toronto was Salmons fifth since being drafted out of Miami in 2002 but he took this one more personally than the others. He felt slighted by an organization that he had spent most of his career playing for. "When I got traded I had mixed feelings, strong mixed feelings," he admitted. "Im not going to say I was totally mad at the [Kings] organization it was just, I dont know, it was just a little tougher this time." Now, as he and his teammates get set to make their much-anticipated return, that animosity is water under the bridge, more or less. Salmons, like the other three, is sincerely happy to be a Raptor. Winning is the best medicine. "Guys enjoy winning," said Salmons. "Theres the old saying, winning cures everything so the more we win the more people want to sacrifice to continue winning." wholesale jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap soccer jerseys wholesale jerseys wholesale jerseys cheap nfl jerseys china ' ' '

TEMPE, Ariz. Nike Roshe One Dam Svart . - After their worst performance of the season, the Arizona Cardinals lead in the NFC West is down to a precarious one game over surging Seattle.Drew Stanton and the Cardinals offence barely have a pulse. The usually stout defence was riddled for 500 yards in Arizonas 29-18 loss at Atlanta on Sunday, a game that was not nearly as close as the final score indicated. Now the road only gets rougher.Up next are the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 7-5 and in the thick of the fight for at least an AFC wild card berth. At least the game is at home, where the Cardinals are 6-0 this season and 12-2 since coach Bruce Arians took over a year ago.Arians said on Monday that the pratfall in Atlanta, Arizonas second straight loss after a six-game winning streak, was perplexing given the great week of practice the team had put in after losing at Seattle. It was an outstanding week of preparation, he said. But you cant play in the National Football League without passion and energy, and we brought none of the above to that game. Its our first time in a long time. I think that some guys fell into the trap that the Falcons werent any good. Thats a bad trap to fall into.Injuries still are mounting in the desert.Safety Tyrann Mathieu fractured his left thumb in Sundays game and doctors were determining how to treat it, Arians said.Best case scenario is put it in a cast and he can play, Arians said. Worst case is put a pin in it and out for three weeks.Running back Andre Ellington, already bothered by foot and hip injuries, got a hip pointer (on the other hip) Sunday and wont practice on Wednesday, Arians said.Right guard Paul Fanaika and left tackle Jared Veldheer have ankle sprains and their prospects for next Sunday are uncertain. But there is some good news on the injury front. After missing two games with a bruised knee, eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald should practice Wednesday, Arians said. The team also gets outside linebacker Matt Shaughnessy back. Shaughnessy had been on the injured but eligible to return list for the last eight games.Arians said he wouldnt yell at the players in their Monday meeting.Im just honest, he said. When you stink, you stink. You point out how you stunk and get it corrected.Besides, he said, the tape is so bad it speaks for itself.Drew Stanton dropped to 3-3 as a starter, 1-2 since Carson Palmer went down with a season-ending knee injury. The offence went more than 11 quarters, 28 consecutive possessions, without scoring a touchdown before it finally got one late against the Falcons.Cornerback Patrick Peterson acknowledged that the defence has to step up with Palmer out, something that certainly didnt happen in Atlanta. We still have all the confidence in the world in Drew but were still playing with a backup quarterback, Peterson said. That changes the dynamics of everything.Tight end John Carlson defended his quarterback. Its certainly not Drews fault, Carlson said. Every individual on the offensive side of the ball needs to play better, needs to execute better.Arians said Stanton was really, really hot and cold against the Falcons, when he threw two interceptions.Threw the ball extremely well outside and down the field, and then overthrew Jaron (Brown) six inches too high on the interception, Arians said. The other (interception) he went through his progressions and then just dumped one over Michaels (Floyd) head. Those are critical errors, and he has not made those earlier in the season, something thats easily corrected.Kansas City is coming off a one-sided home loss to Denver and is fighting for its playoff life. The Chiefs, Arians said, will not be an easy foe for an Arizona team that has to stop its slide or see a remarkably successful season slip away.Peterson, who talked last week about how he wanted to go against Julio Jones, was torched by the Atlanta receiver, who caught 10 passes for a career-high 189 yards. He said he always talks that way about an opponents best receiver and any talk about him calling out Jones is baloney. The Cardinals arent in the position to call out anybody.Weve got to get back to what got us here, Peterson said.NOTES: The Cardinals released linebacker Desmond Bishop and elevated guard-centre Anthony Steen from the practice squad.___Online:AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL Nike Roshe One Print . Marian Gaborik had two goals and an assist and Martin Jones made just 17 saves to record his fourth shutout of the season as the Kings snapped a three-game losing skid with a 3-0 victory over the lowly Oilers on Thursday. Nike Roshe One Slip . Smart was selected with the sixth overall pick in June. The Oklahoma State guard was a two-time All-Big 12 First-Team selection and finished his two-year collegiate career with 189 steals, the second-most in school history. http://www.rosheonedam.net/nike-air-max-thea-sverige/nike-air-max-thea-dam.html . Only when the Seattle Mariners left fielder tumbled to the ground did Ackley know hed robbed Travis dArnaud of a home run.Bellator MMA was slated to make history this Saturday night with their inaugural pay-per view event. But an injury to headliner Tito Ortiz has forced the California based promotion to offer this card free on TV. With three title fights and a number of UFC veterans littered throughout the card, this remains the biggest event in Bellators history. Once again Jordan Cieciwa (@FitCityJordan) and I (@LynchOnSports) go head to head in our picks for this weekends event. Last weekend my #TeamLynch beat out #TeamJC 7-4 and Im looking to carry that momentum in our first Bellator preview. Let us know which side youre on! Either hashtag #TeamLynch or #TeamJC on Twitter. Also feel free to leave your opinions in the comment section below. Michael Chandler vs. Eddie Alvarez (Lightweight Championship) James Lynch TSN.ca (@LynchOnSports) In one of the most anticipated rematches in MMA history, undefeated champion Chandler defends his title for the third time against former lightweight champ Alvarez. If you havent watched their first encounter, look up Bellator 58: Chandler vs. Alvarez on YouTube and youll witness one of the greatest fights in MMA history. When Chandler upset Alvarez in their first fight back in November 2011 to capture the title, he immediately became the promotions poster boy. The DREAM veteran Alvarez was pushed in the opposite direction and was told to re-enter an upcoming lightweight tournament in order to earn a rematch. Alvarez opted to compete in two super-fights instead (against Shinya Aoki and Patricky Freire) and emerged victories on both accounts. His plan was to wait until the conclusion of his contract and move on elsewhere. He had aspirations to fight in the UFC and instead of that storybook ending; he endured one of the worst legal contract battles in the sport. The 29-year old would be forced to sit out a year and in the end remained with the promotion. Thanks to a newly formed rematch clause, fans and pundits instead get to witness this epic encounter Saturday night. So who wins the fight? Despite Chandler getting the best of his foe at Bellator 58, the matchup as a whole was extremely competitive. Both fighters have knockout power and exceptional wrestling. The Alliance MMA fighter has the edge on the mat, but with 27-fights on his resume Alvarez has the clear advantage in experience. Since his win over the Blackzillians member, the 12-0 fighter has made leaps and bounds in his career. Hes finished all of his opponents since then, including lightweight tournament winner David Rickels and current welterweight finalist Rick Hawn. In addition, the former NCAA Division 1 Wrestler has the security with the promotion (signing a disclosed long-term contract) and has been more active fighting. All these factors dont bode well for Alvarez, especially with the long layoff. Expect the company man Chandler to come out with the same intensity in their first fight and land the better power shots. Hell catch the durable Alvarez sometime in the third round and slip in the submission for his 13th career victory. Chandler via third round submission Jordan Cieciwa – TSN 1290 Host This promises to be one of the best fights on paper in any fight organization this year. The UFC got lucky that Sanchez vs. Melendez was an epic battle; this rematch looks to be something special. If you have not been following these two competitors you have been missing something. Alvarez vs. Chandler in Bellator 58 was one of those fights that needs to be watched to be believed. Both fighters have the talent to go to the top of their division in any league. Alvarez has proved his talent with wins over Shinya Aoki (Watch his career highlights) and Patricky Freire. Both wins were first round KOs. At 9-1 in his last 10 fights (Chandler was the loss) Alvarez has finished eight of those fights. Thats impressive. At 24-3, its no wonder the UFC wanted him. That legal battle left Alvarez hungry and he better be for this fight. Across the cage is the man who took his title. Chandler has competed in half the fights, but at 12-0 is no rookie. Chandler has finished his last four fights. The last time these two met, Chandler sunk in a rear naked choke in the championship rounds. Now, I see redemption on the horizon for Alvarez. With no competition he has been in the gym with the Blackzillians, perfecting his technique. It has been almost exactly one year since Alvarez had a fight. I expect him to be healthy, and razor sharp. Alvarez via fourth round KO Pat Curran vs. Daniel Straus (Featherweight Championship) Lynch 26-year old featherweight champion Curran faces off with Season 6 tournament winner Strauss as part of three rematches on this main card. Their first encounter came back in 2009 for the XFO promotion, where Curran won via knockout in the second round. Both fighters have evolved their games since then and currently between the two of them, ride an 11-fight unbeaten streak. The Team Curran fighter has looked spectacular since dropping back to featherweight in 2011 and has dispatched the likes of Marlon Sandro, Joe Warren and Patricio Freire. Looking for his seventh straight win, “Paddy Mike” is in for a competitive matchup against the Team Vision product Straus. The 29-year old has had quite the battle both inside and outside of the cage, with injuries and legal trouble back in March which has delayed this fight from happening. Now ready and with the opportunity to compete on the promotions biggest event to date, Straus hopes his wrestling will be enough to outpoint the current champ. Physically both fighters are similar with Curran having a slight height and reach advantage. Both have over 20-fights on their resume, but Curran has a win over Patricio Freire, a man who handed Straus his last loss. While no doubt the Ohio native is durable, Curran is better in every aspect of this fight. Should the 2011 featherweight summer series winner stick to his game plan, this is his fight to lose. Expect Curran to overwhelm Straus as the fight goes on, and catch him late in the fight, for his 20th career victory. Curran via fourth round knockout JC If you listen to the "Weigh In" on TSN 1290 where Lynch and I sound off with our friend and Co-Host Marvyn Timog, youll know about our respect for the very underrated Pat Curran. He has heavy hands and a ton of talent. Hes the champ for a reason; hes really good at fist fighting. Curran has strung together six wins, while Daniel Straus is on his own five fight win streak. This is a rematch as it was a loss for Straus back in 2009 for the XFO organization. That, coupled with some "out of the ring" legal issues, Im not sure we get to see Straus in the perfect head space for a fight with someone who has been getting better and better as time passes. Pat Curran haas looked as sharp as ever in his last six fights. Nike Roshe One Grå. His hands are heavy, and his talent to hit the button is unquestioned. Win number 20 for Pat Curran will come with a booming KO. Watch this one; its going to be the fight your friends talk about. Curran via third round knockout Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal vs. Emanuel Newton (Interim Light Heavyweight Championship) Lynch Another heated rematch fills out the main card, this time in the light heavyweight division as former MFC champion Newton battles former Strikeforce champion Lawal. This past February at Bellator 90, we saw one of the biggest upsets in the promotions history Newton landed a first round, spinning back-fist knockout on Lawal to advance to the Season 8 tournament final. With “King Mo” winning this past summers light heavyweight tournament and current Bellator 205lb Attila Vegh apparently sidelined due to injury, this rematch was made possible. Since the loss, the always charismatic Lawal is on a two-fight win streak, finishing both Seth Petruzelli and Jacob Noe. If the 2007 Pan American gold medalist wants to emerge victorious, hell need to neutralize the standup of the “Hardcore Kid” and not become over confident like he was in their first fight. For Newton, hell need to unload on his standup and try to turn this into a dogfight. A glaring difference between these two fighters is experience, with Newton having 29-fights on his resume compared to Lawals 14. With whats at stake for the 32-year old, expect Lawal to play it safe and try to outwrestle his opponent on route to a unanimous decision victory. Lawal via unanimous decision JC I had the pleasure of watching King Mo train right after he was cleared from an ACL repair. That same ACL that had him sidelined for a long time, thanks to a subsequent infection. I got to see King Mo up at Reign MMA working with a ton of top talent. No doubt, he is a talented wrestler. The Kings striking is good, but its not great. Enter the Interim Champ, Emanuel Newton. He is much sharper in the standup world. Newton is still training with Reign MMA, and his sparring days are over at Kings MMA. Rafael Cordero turns out top prospects at Kings MMA, and thats exactly why Newton has the belt right now. The last go between these two had Newton landing a back fist for the KO. I dont think this one will end that fast, but I do expect the striking to be the factor in this that gets the win. I expect Newton to confuse Lawal, and stay on the outside and avoid takedowns. You have to beat the champion, if this goes to decision, it will stay with Newton Newton via unanimous decision. Joe Riggs vs. Mike Bronzoulis (Fight Master Final) Lynch In a matchup that was slated to take place back at Bellator 98 in September, Team Jackson fighter Riggs returns from injury to battle Team Couture fighter Bronzoulis. The 31-year old Riggs had a well-documented fall from grace, from fighting for the UFC welterweight title against Matt Hughes in 2005 to battling an opiate addiction which lead to him bouncing around from promotion to promotion. A win for the Strikeforce veteran on Saturday would not only earn him a spot in the upcoming welterweight tournament, but also resurgence in his career. Heading into this bout, “Diesel” is riding five-fight win streak and hopes to add “Fight Master Champion” to his resume. Meanwhile the former Legacy FC welterweight champion Bronzoulis looked dominant during his tenure on the Fight Master reality series, defeating Chris Lozano and Eric Bradley to earn his spot in the final. Riggs has a significant advantage in experience, with 54 fights in his career (compared to Bronzoulis 21) and has fought the likes of Matt Hughes, Nick Diaz, Chris Lytle and Phil Baroni. The 34-year old “Greek” has finished 12 of his 15 opponents, and will no doubt make this a competitive matchup. Because these fighters are on the biggest card in Bellator history and with Riggs having a vast amount of experience, this should be his fight to lose. Expect The MMA Lab fighter to play it smart throughout the three round affairs and earn a unanimous decision victory. Riggs via unanimous decision JC Who hasnt Joe Riggs fought? With 39 wins, this guy has seen it all. At 31 years-old, Riggs has a lot of time left on the clock. That clock has had some rough times on it. Riggs has lost a lot of key fights, had some personal problems and has seen time in almost every single organization out there. He is a fighter who needs to start winning again. As he takes to the cage, his opponent will be very ready. Mike Bronzoulis has put together two wins in a row, and is making his debut for Bellator. That means he is going to do everything he can to impress. Neither of these fighters possesses a distinct advantage in striking or wrestling. This may be one of those typical brawl matches, Riggs is known for mixing it up and putting on a good show. I think the fans are in for a great fight to start the night of Rematches up. Riggs via unanimous decision Mike Richman vs. Akop Stepanyan Lynch A pair of exciting featherweights clash to open up the main card as former Marine Richman battles Taekwondo black belt Stepanyan. Richman is coming off a hard fought loss to Frodo Khasbulaev at Bellator 95 in the Season 8 featherweight tournament final. Prior to the loss, “The Marine” was on a 6-1 run, including wins over Canadian Chris Horodecki and Alexandre Bezerra. Looking to earn his spot in the upcoming featherweight tournament, the 28-year old understands the importance of a win over his Russian- Armenian foe. The 27-year old Stepanyan also had a disappointing outing in his last fight, in an upset loss to Justin Wilcox at Bellator 99. Losing of three of his last four contests, should he not come out on top Saturday, hell likely be released from the promotion. Expect that to happen, with Richman using his superior standup and wrestling over the course of three rounds to earn the decision nod. Richman via unanimous decision JC As usual Im going against Lynch and picking Stepanyan to win the fight. He hasnt looked impressive since signing with Bellator, but that will change on Saturday as hes going to show the form that lead him to an impressive 12-3 record while he was competing in his native Russia.
