DARLINGTON, S. Jason Pierre-Paul Jersey .C. -- Chase Elliott missed his senior prom Friday, but wasnt too disappointed. "I had a good date tonight, the Lady in Black, cant forget about that," he said, smiling. The 18-year-old son of NASCAR great Bill Elliott raced to his second straight Nationwide Series victory, moving from fifth to first on the final two laps Friday night. Elliott broke through for his first series win last week at Texas when he passed Sprint Cup veteran Kevin Harvick. At Darlington, Elliot moved past Sadler when the veteran got loose coming off Turn 2 on a restart two laps from the end. Elliott drives for JR Motorsports, owned in part by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Earnhardt saw Bill Elliott at the Victory Lane celebration and asked how long it would be until Chase graduates -- and gets to come to the race shop fulltime. "He aint even focusing on racing, hes in school," Earnhardt said. "Wait until he gets graduated, hes going to be really trouble for those other boys." Hes plenty trouble for Nationwide competitors right now. At 18 years, 4 months, 14 days, he became the youngest in the series to win twice and the youngest winner at Darlington. "I dont know that we expected to come and win races at least this fast," Elliott said. Elliott will graduate next month on May 17, when the Nationwide Series is in Iowa. He plans to test in Iowa on Friday, return to Georgia on Saturday for his graduation ceremonies before flying back to the track for night-time qualifying. "I want to make mom happy. I know shes going to be excited about that one," he said. Sadler held on for second while Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch were third and fourth. Busch led by 1.5 seconds and was seemingly cruising to victory until Tanner Berryhills spin forced a final restart and sent the field diving into the pits for a final shootout. Sadler moved from eighth to first after the stop by taking just two tires while Elliott was among the competitors who changed four tires. Elliott charged hard on the restart and was right in back of Sadler on the final lap. When Sadler got loose -- Sadler said the two didnt touch, although they surely came close -- Elliott was able to move past him and take the checkered flag. Elliott leads the point standings, topping JR Motorsports teammate Regan Smith by seven points. "Man, that was crazy," Elliott said. Then again, its been a crazy time for latest Elliott to conquer the track "Too Tough To Tame." His father won here five times and earned the nickname "Million Dollar Bill" when his Southern 500 win earned him the Winston Million bonus in 1985. Chase Elliott hadnt ever turned a lap at Darlington until Thursday and quickly gained a "Darlington stripe" -- a rookie initiation -- as he hit the track. But Elliott found his poise on the tricky track and raced among the more experienced drivers throughout the night. Elliott led 52 of the 147 laps, second only to Buschs 84 laps led. "Wait until he gets out of school," Earnhardt said. Earnhardt believes Elliott has a composure and poise uncommon in young racers. "Id like to think were going to hold on to him," Earnhardt said. "But hes ahead of scale." For much of the race, it appeared Busch would grab his third Darlington victory in as many Nationwide races. Busch led by nearly a second and half heading into the late stages until Berryhills incident sparked the last of seven caution periods. But Busch couldnt make his way out of pile at the restart and settled for his sixth top-10 Nationwide finish in 10 career marks at Darlington. Sadler, too, had hoped his crews good work in the pits would steal a late victory. Instead, he picked up his third top-three finish in the past four Darlington events. Jonathan Casillas Jersey . -- Pinch-runner Rajai Daviss decision to steal third base just as Oakland catcher Derek Norris was throwing the ball back to the pitcher caught most everyone by surprise -- including several of his Detroit teammates. The hard-serving 22-year-old from Thornhill, Ont., became the first Canadian to be ranked in the Top 10 on the ATP World Tour thanks to his runner-up performance at Rogers Cup in Montreal.TSN.ca presents its latest weekly power rankings for the 2013-14 Barclays Premier League season. Rankings were weighted evenly between separate lists made by TSN Radio host and soccer analyst Gareth Wheeler as well as TSN.cas soccer editors. 1. Manchester City (Last Week-2) The best home side in the Barclays Premier League stormed to an impressive 6-3 victory over top of the table Arsenal at Etihad Stadium. City have now scored 35 goals in their eight home games and are the only team with a perfect record on their own ground. Five different men, including the strike partnership of Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo found the net as City seemed to score at will. The only downside for the winners was that Aguero limped off the field in the 50th minute and is now expected to miss a month of action. 2. Arsenal (LW-1) Though they still lead the Barclays Premier League, there were not a lot of positives for Arsenal as they fell 6-3 to Manchester City. The one positive that they gained in the heavy loss was a strong outing for Theo Walcott, who scored twice for the Gunners. The league leaders will have to play without Jack Wilshere for two games after he was suspended for giving the home fans the middle finger during the contest. 3. Liverpool (LW-3) Two more goals for Luis Suarez paced an impressive 5-0 victory for Liverpool over Tottenham. The Uruguayan striker now has 17 goals on the season to lead the league, despite having only played in 11 of his teams 16 games this season. Jordan Henderson, John Flanagan and Raheem Sterling also found the mark for Liverpool, who are now just two points from the top of the table. 4. Chelsea (LW-4) Two first half goals were enough to lead Chelsea to a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in a strong but not dominant performance at Stamford Bridge. Searching for scoring from their strikers, Fernando Torres found the net 16 minutes into the contest. After giving up the equalizer, Ramires found the winner in the 35th minute and Chelsea hung on to the advantage for the rest of the game. Petr Cech was called into action to keep the one goal lead at times in the second half and he responded to the task. 5. Everton (LW-5) Heading into the late stages at Goodison Park, it looked as though Everton was going to have to settle for a single point. However, three goals in the final 17 minutes of the game propelled them to a 4-1 victory over Fulham. After grabbing an early lead courtesy of a Leon Osman goal, Seamus Coleman Gareth Barry Kevin Mirallas all found the scoring touch to lead the home side to victory. 6. Manchester United (LW-9) Two goals in the opening 18 minutes, only three minutes apart, for Danny Welbeck was enough to spark a solid bounce back effort for United as they knocked off Aston Villa 3-0. Tom Cleverley scored the other goal for United, who havent lost at Villa Park since 1995 and showed a lot of life earning a quality victory. 7. Newcastle United (LW-6) A Yoan Gouffran marker was not enough for Newcastle to win their fourth straight home game as they settled for a 1-1 draw against Southampton. After a strong first half where they grabbed the lead, Newcastle struggled to get the advantage after the break and in the end gave up the tying marker. Hatem Ben Arfa came on late and sparked the team but in the end it was a point for each team. 8. Tottenham Hotspur (LW-7) The end came for manager Andre Villas-Boas the morning after Spurs were thumped 5-0 by Liverpool at home. By the time Luis Suarez made it 4-0 in the 84th minute with his second of the game, the crowd at White Hart Lane had thinned out to visiting supporters and those that stayed behind to boo the team off the field. They would eventually get the chance to show their displeasure but not before Tottenham gave up a fifth goal. 9. Southampton (LW- Jay Rodriguez fired home in the 65th minute to earn a point for Southampton in a 1-1 draw with Newcastle. After struggling and falling behind in the first half, the Saints came on in the second half of the game to earn themselves a point. The introduction of Adam Lallana after the half played a big role in why the visitors were much better in the second half of this contest. 10. Swansea City (LW-10) Nathaan Dyer was the entire story for Swansea in a 1-1 draw against Norwich City. Jay Bromley Jersey. He scored their only goal in the 12th minute helping them earn a point from the contest. Unfortunately, Dyer was forced to leave the game on a stretcher with an ankle injury before the end of the first half. Further tests would show ligament damage and not an ankle break which is at least positive news for the midfielder. 11. Hull City (LW-11) There were no goals, but two good goalkeeping performances on hand as Hull City and Stoke City played to a 0-0 draw. Allan McGregor picked up the clean sheet for the Tigers as Stoke managed 11 shots, two on target for their performance. Peter Crouch was the man victimized both times as McGregor kept the score level. 12. Stoke City (LW-13) Asmir Begovic had to be on his game to earn Stoke City a point in a 0-0 draw with Hull City. Ahmed Elmohamady and Yannick Sagbo both had good chances to crack the scoreboard for Hull but were both turned away by Begovic in the first half. Both teams had opportunities to claim the game but in the end they would each leave with a deserved point. 13. Aston Villa (LW-12) Before 20 minutes had passed, Villa was already down two goals and they never found their way back into a game they dropped 3-0 to Manchester United. It was all United, as striker Christian Benteke was not able to find a way to get Villa back into a game they lost very early in the first half. 14. Cardiff City (LW-15) When Peter Whittingham found the mark with a header, it turned out to be the only scoring in a 1-0 victory for Cardiff City over West Brom. Throughout the contest, Cardiff routinely had the best of the chances as Steven Caulker was very involved creating chances but wasnt able to increase his teams one goal lead. In the end the single goal was enough for all three points. 15. Norwich City (LW-16) Gary Hoopers 25-yard strike in first half stoppage time was enough to lead Norwich to a 1-1 draw with Swansea. Michael Turner had a chance to put the Canaries ahead in the second half but wasnt able to find the mark as the home team earned a point. 16. West Bromwich Albion (LW-14) A fourth straight loss, this time 1-0 at the hands of Cardiff City, turned out to be one too many as manager Steve Clarke was fired by the Baggies after the game. High expectations entering the season, after they shot up to eighth place last year, were not able to be matched by West Brom, who are now 16th in the table, two points out of the relegation zone. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is considered to be a front runner to claim the job. 17. West Ham United (LW-17) West Ham had to hang on against bottom of the table Sunderland to take point from a 0-0 draw. Sunderland had more of the possession and controlled the action for the most part and it was the work of West Ham keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen that kept the scores level. Ravel Morrison was lively for the Hammers but was not able to be the difference maker in this game. 18. Crystal Palace (LW-1 Thought they didnt enjoy much of the possession in the game, Palace were in it right to end as they fell 2-1 to Chelsea. After they fell behind in the 16th minute, Marouane Chamakh equalized 13 minutes later for the relegation threatened side. The game was level for only six minutes before Palace was once again searching for a tying goal. They had chances throughout the game but were never able to find the second goal to possibly escape with a point. 19. Sunderland (LW-20) Its rare that a bottom of the table team should be unhappy with a draw, but such is the case for Sunderland who were held 0-0 by West Ham. Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley had the best chance when he hit the bar late in the first half. Jozy Altidore also had a chance to edge the game for the Black Cats but was turned away by West Ham keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen. 20. Fulham (LW-19) Another tough result now sees Fulham second bottom on goal differential in the Barclays Premier League as they fell 4-1 to Everton. A Dimitar Berbatov penalty in the 67th minute evened the score but three late goals conceded meant that the Cottagers fell behind Crystal Palace on differential and into 19th place in the table. GLENDALE, Ariz. MLB Jerseys China . -- The Colorado Avalanche knew they would get a fight from the Phoenix Coyotes, one of the NHLs best rallying teams. But when the Coyotes pushed, the Avalanche pushed right back. Ryan OReilly scored a power-play goal with 41 seconds left in overtime and Colorado bounced back after allowing two third-period goals to beat Phoenix 4-3 on Thursday night. "Thats (fighting back) what good teams do and what we have to learn," Colorado LW Gabriel Landeskog said. "Its just about finding ways to win and thats what we did." Colorado had been the NHLs best team at holding a lead and entered the third period up 2-1 on goals by Andre Benoit and John Mitchell. Coming off a four-day break, Phoenix turned up the pressure in the third period and went ahead 3-2 on goals by Martin Hanzal and Antoine Vermette four minutes apart. The Avalanche fought back, though, tying it with 3:14 left in regulation on a whirling backhander by Cody McLeod that found its way through Mike Smiths pads. OReilly ended it in overtime, sending a wrist shot past Smith for his ninth goal of the season and Colorados seventh win in nine road games. "This is a very good team, probably one of the best in the NHL and I thought our guys did a good job of coming here and winning that game," Avalanche coach Patrick Roy said. Phoenix dictated play most of the way, spending long stretches in Colorados zone and sending 44 shots at Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov. The Coyotes fell behind 2-0 despite dominating early and fought back late, but were hurt by two late penalties: One by Hanzal that carried over into overtime and another by Keith Yandle that set up Colorados winning power play. Michael Stone also scored and Shane Doan extended his points streak to seven games with an assist on Vermettes goal for the Coyotes, who remain unbeaten in regulation at home (9-0-2). "I thought we did a lot of good things in that game, thought we controlled a lot of the play, had upward of 75 scoring chances," Coyotes coach Dave Tippett said. "But in a tight game, mistakes matter and when you put a team on the power play twice in overtime, it usually comes back to bite you and it did." Two of the NHLs highest-scoring teams needed a little while to get rolling, playing a scoreless first period. Phoenix had some good chances in the opening 20 minutes, but couldnt get any of its 15 shots past Varlamov. Colorado needed 32 seconds of the second period and six seconds of a power play to break the scoreless tie. Mitchell got it, ending up with the puck between the circles after a face-off and whipping it past Smith for his fourth goal of the season. That didnt bode well for the Coyotes; Colorado entered the game as the only NHL team that hadnt lost after the first period at 13-0. Paul Stastny nearly added to it midway through the period, but Smith made a spectacular save, sliding to his right then stacking his pads to glove the one-timer. Benoit did get one past Smith later in the period on a shot from the point that hit the crossbar and trickled in after hitting the goalies back. Benoit was hit in the face early in the period, but returned with a bandage on his chin to score for the first time since last April. Stone finally got the Coyotes on the board with a long-distance goal, beating Varlamov with a hard shot from just inside the red line that caromed in off the left post for his seventh of the season. The Coyotes thought they had it tied 5 minutes into the third period when Oliver Ekman-Larsson beat Varlamov from the left circle, but it was waved off because David Moss knocked the Avalanche goalie over after a shove by Colorados Jan Hejda. Phoenix kept up the pressure and Hanzal tied midway through the period, lifting a loose rebound over a prone Varlamov. Vermette scored on a power play, but the lead lasted less than three minutes before McLeod tied it to send the game to overtime. OReilly ended it as the clock wound down in overtime, scoring on Colorados second power-play chance in the extra period. "We got ourselves back in the game, but its unfortunate we took the two penalties to give them a chance to win it," Tippett said. The Avalanche made the most of it, winning for the 16th time in 21 games this season. NOTES: Ekman-Larsson played his 200th career game. ... The Avalanche have allowed an NHL-low nine first-period goals this season. ... The Coyotes placed D Zbynek Michalek on injured reserve on Thursday with a lower-body injury. ... Colorado leading scorer Matt Duchene missed his second straight game with an oblique injury. Cheap MLB Jerseys . The 25-year-old native of Milford, Conn., has 18 points in 41 games this season. TSN Baseball Insider Steve Phillips answers several questions each week. John Elway Broncos Jersey . This week topics include the surging Blue Jays, falling MLB giants, domestic violence in pro sports and remembering September 11. 1. With the Toronto Blue Jays having won 9 of their last 11 games, is it safe to say the team is back in the race for the final American League Wild Card spot or, with 17 games left in the season, is a 3.5-game deficit simply too big to overcome? The Jays have shown real character this season. They have dealt with adversity, injuries and disappointment. There was a point when I and others thought they were dead and that they would fade away. Give the players and John Gibbons and his staff a ton of credit. A 3.5 game deficit doesnt sound that overwhelming, especially when the Jays trail the second wild card team, the Tigers, by just three games in the loss column. The Seattle Mariners stand between the Jays and Tigers for that last wild card spot. They are three games ahead of Toronto in the loss column as well. The challenge for the Jays is that there are only 17 games left to make up ground. The Tigers have a winning percentage of .548. That means in their final 16 games if they play like they have all season long they would go 9-7 and finish with 89 wins. If they Jays get to 89 wins it will be because they go 13-4 in their final 17 games. Obviously to get to 90 wins they would have to go 14-3. That means the Jays will finish the season on a 23-5 run. Is it possible? Absolutely Is it probable? Absolutely not. Now the good news is that the Tigers are not playing at a .548 clip in the recent games. In fact, they are just 27-28 after the All Star game. So maybe this will allow the Jays more margin for error. The other good news is that the Oakland As are in freefall right now. They are 15-23 since Aug. 1 so it may actually open up another wild card spot. The Jays cant worry about anyone but themselves. They cant focus on winning 13 games or even one game. Their focus should be on winning on this pitch in this inning in this game. Then refocus for the next pitch and the next pitch. The Jays are in it. Just barely, but they are in it. Wouldnt it make for an amazing October if they shock the world? 2. The Oakland Athletics are 15-23 since acquiring Jon Lester from the Boston Red Sox. David Price is 2-3 in seven starts with the Detroit Tigers and has an ERA almost a full run higher than what he had as a member of the Tampa Bay Rays earlier this season. Is this a case of a pair of contending teams unable to cope with changed expectations? Baseball is an amazing game. Just when we think we have it figured out we are made fools. We all had the American League figured out. After the trade deadline the As and Tigers were going to square off against each other for the AL pennant. We were comparing the depth and quality of their starting rotations. We wondered aloud if they could be among the best ever. What were we thinking? The game is not played on paper. The game is not played by stats; it is played by people. And as much as I think I know how people are going to act or perform I have been proven wrong over and over. People have feelings and emotions and thoughts all affect how they react and perform. The As certainly improved their pitching staff with the John Lester deal. They did it at the expense of their offence. Billy Beane, As GM, made a calculation that he could give up Yeonis Cespedes production and still score enough runs to improve support the improved pitching staff. I get why he made that evaluation since at the time of the deal he had the highest scoring offence in baseball. Unfortunately what he didnt count on was how the other hitters in the lineup would be affected mentally and emotionally. Josh Reddick and Brandon Moss couldnt handle the pressure of having to deliver more in Cespedes absence. Beane couldnt have predicted that Josh Donaldson and CoCo Crisp would suffer injuries and miss time. As the As started losing games because they were scoring less it put more pressure on the hitters to produce because everyone was talking about the lack of offence. With the obvious lack of offence the pitchers started trying to be perfect and this led them to their own struggles. One fed the other. Somehow they need to start to believe in themselves offensively again and it will improve the pitching. The Tigers struggles were a bit different. Offensively they have been Jekyl and Hyde for a couple of years. They seem to go hot and cold from inning to inning and game to game. When they added David Price everyone starting talking about the unhittable staff that they had. The players started looking at each other and saying, Ok, go out there and be Davis Price. Be Max Scherzer. Be Justin Verlander. The players subconsciously expected perfection from their pitchers so they just effectively stood and watched. They played poor defence and their offence became even more inconsistent. Throw in health struggles by Miguel Cabrera and it really compounded the problem. The Tigers seem to be rebounding a bit while the As are still struggling. The irony is now that we could have John Lester vs David Price in the Wild Card game instead of in Game 7 of the ALCS. Not what we expected but it could still be a great matchup. 3. In light of the perceived mishandling of the Ray Rice affair by the NFL and its commissioner, Roger Goodell, are you confident that a similar scenario would be dealt with in a more expedient matter in Major League Baseball or do you see an inability to deal with domestic violence as a systemic issue with professional sports on the whole? What a week it has been. The Ray Rice story has dominated the football landscape in what should have been a celebration of the start of the 2014 season. It has taken over in a baseball-like fashion. It seemed like baseball controversies always seemed to pop up at the most inopportune time. It must be contagious. The NFL clearly has behavior problems. Thirty-one players/executives have been arrested since the Super Bowl in February. Thats right thirty-one. There have been 56 domestic violence arrests in Roger Goodells tenure as commissioner and those players have served a total of only 13 games in suspensions. Football is a game in which the players are driven to perform by their anger. History shows that at times the players cant turn that anger off. This is not a problem exclusive to football. It exists in every other sport, business and class of society. A number of years back Bret Meyers of the Phillies was arrested in Boston for a physical altercation with his wife on a street corner. Charges were dropped and the case was not pursued. Hall of Fame manager Bobby Cox was arrested back in 1995 for simple battery in a domestic dispute with his wife. There have been a number of other baseball related domestic violence cases over the years. Baseballs track record of punishing offenders is not strong either. When I was minor league director for the Mets, I chose to educate our players about domestic violence. We talked about anger and relationships and the need to get help if they couldnt control themselves. I hope it helped but I really dont know. It is so hard to predict what people would do if they faced similar circumstances today. I would like to believe that baseball would handle it better than football. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell botched this right from the start. He is in hot water now about either not having pursued the in-elevator video of Rice and his then fianc?? aggressively enough or of lying about having attained it. His credibility has been severely damaged. One thing I do know is that baseball would have pursued the video and gotten it before TMZ did. If the Biogenesis story proved anything it showed that major league baseball will vigorously pursue evidence from any and all sources to get to the truth. Roger Goodell said he would only pursue evidence from credible reputable sources, namely, law enforcement. Heck even the police make deals with scumbags to get information. Why does the NFL have to be so particular? The criminal justice system certainly seemed to fail in New Jersey. How is it possible that the punch in the face that Ray Rice gave his fianc?? is only worthy of participation in an intervention program? My initial inclination was that Rice was given preferential treatment. But it appears he was treated like most first time offenders. That being said I dont think that the NFL or any other professional league needs to be bound to how the judicial system rules. Roger Goodell and any commissioner in sports should hand down penalties that they believe are appropriate. They dont need to compare it to what the prosecutors do in a case. They dont have to worry about preceding penalties for other infractions. If a player does something wrong then give him the punishment he deserves. Who cares if the Unions appeal the ruling? I would have loved to hear the NFLPA argue that Ray Rice knocking his fianc?? out in the elevator really wasnt so bad. Roger Goodell struck out. I would hope that every other league will not only learn from this but will institute clear and concise policies regarding domestic violence. I also hope that education is increased jointly between the leagues and players associations. Where there is a crisis there is an opportunity. I hope we all are more aware now than we were previously and demand more from professional sports leagues to better protect women from abuse. By the way October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 4. It is September 11. I was the general manger of the Mets on that fateful day in 2001. I was on my way into the stadium when the planes crashed into the World Trade Center. I saw the smoke from the burning towers as I drove over the Whitestone Bridge heading from the Bronx to Queens. I was in my office at Shea Stadium when the towers collapsed. I was so scared as it became clear that it was a terrorist attack. I wondered what could happen next. I sent everyone home from the offices and raced back to Connecticut to get my kids out of school. I just wanted to hold them. On the ride home I learned of the plane crashing into the Pentagon and another crashed in a field in Shanksville, PA. I was so afraid. In the days and months after the attack people around the country rallied around New Yorkers. When sports teams from the Big Apple traveled they were met with cheers and not the normal boos. Fans believed the best way to share their appreciation for those souls lost and the police and firemen who so bravely rushed into the towers and not away, was to celebrate those of us who represented New York. It was an amazing feeling that despite the fear, a sense of community and connection prevailed. On every September 11, I am reminded of the emotions of that day and the aftermath. I can picture the way the sun was shining that morning. I can remember the cool air on the field at Shea Stadium when firemen from Tennessee were out taking batting practice after a shift at Ground Zero. I remember the looks on peoples faces walking the streets of New York as they glanced to the sky every so often. I remember the funeral that I attended for a husband and father of a friend in my town. I remember the first game back in New York. Mostly, I remember how much I was grateful for and the connection I felt with neighbors that I didnt even know. As time has gone by and we have moved further away from the horrific pain of that time so much has changed. I guess you could say things have returned to normal. I just wish that normal was different. I want to hold on to that feeling of gratitude everyday. I want to think good feelings about the people around me. I want the frustrations of day-to-day life to always be in perspective as they were then. So every September 11th it brings me back. I for one am making a commitment to be more grateful. I commit to being a better citizen and neighbor. I want to understand that today is a great day and that I have so much to be thankful for in my life. I guess you can call it my September 11 Resolutions. Its just the way hes feeling thats all new. Seven months after having a benign tumour removed from his spine, the Toronto Blue Jays left fielder is healthy, buoyed by an off-season workout routine with slugger Jose Bautista and ready to show the player he can be. Cabrera slammed a home run for a career-best fourth consecutive game on Tuesday as Toronto beat the Houston Astros 5-2 at Rogers Centre. "I feel 100 per cent now and Im ready to go," Cabrera said through a translator. Cabrera, signed by Toronto before last season for $16 million over two years, had missed more than 50 games due to various injuries before surgery in September to remove the tumour, which is not believed to be related to the steroid use that saw him suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball in 2012. "Im good. I dont have any pain now," said Cabrera, who had never before homered in three straight games in this his 10th season in the Majors. "I knew last year wasnt the way I was capable of playing. "Im going to continue to work hard and continue to play hard and try to help the team win games." Cabreras homer gave the Blue Jays some breathing room in the bottom of the seventh. Up 3-2, on a night where Houston continually threatened but couldnt cash in, he drilled an 0-2 slider from Astros reliever Kevin Chapman over the left-field wall to make it 5-2 and effectively end the drama. "I thought when we signed him last year he had a chance to hit some home runs here," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said of Cabrera, who had a career high of 18 home runs with Kansas City in 2011. "Hes not known as a home run hitter but its a perfect place for himm. Emmanuel Sanders Broncos Jersey. "Hes off to a good start. Cabreras blast matched that and ended the nights scoring before 13,123 at Rogers Centre. Veteran catcher Dioner Navarro had an RBI double from each side of the plate to account for the rest of the scoring for the Blue Jays (4-4), who were outhit 9-5 on the night by the Astros (3-5). Veteran left-handed pitcher Mark Buehrle, who bent but didnt break over 5-1/3 innings, ran his record to 2-0 despite being hit hard by the Astros. "Tonight was one of those where I had to battle," said Buehrle, who gave up eight hits and an earned run before leaving up 2-1. "I was up in the zone on everything, wasnt getting ahead in the count. "Im fortunate to get away with giving up one run in 5-1/3 innings. That could have been a game where I gave up eight to 10 runs, so luckily we snuck out the win on this one." Four Toronto relievers held the Astros to one run and one hit over 3-2/3 innings as Houston had base-runners in each of the first eight innings but went 0-14 with runners in scoring position. Sergio Santos struck out the side in the ninth for his third save. Gibbons said it was obvious Buehrle "was a little bit off" so he decided to pull him even though the southpaw had only thrown 81 pitches. "But he did what he does best. He survives. He keeps you in the game and he got some big outs when he had to," Gibbons said. "I just thought in a one-run game it was time to turn it over to the bullpen, everybody was pretty rested down there." And the Ottawa Redblacks linebacker wanted to be sure his words delivered their full effect. "Its an insult," he said over the phone Wednesday after the CFL Players Association lifted its media ban, giving its members the ability to speak openly about stalling collective bargaining talks. For Pottinger — 30 years old and an eight-year CFL veteran taken by Ottawa in Decembers expansion draft— "It," is an all-composing term, referring to the CFLs reluctance to explore any revenue-sharing model, and the publication of the leagues newest offer Wednesday, which includes a "ratification bonus" ($1,000 for rookies and $3,000 for veterans) if the players agree to the leagues terms by June 2. "Its a slap in the face." "It" ultimately alludes to a negotiation process that has made no progress for months. Like most players, Pottinger has not directly been part of the talks. There is now a week left before the current CBA expires on May 29. Last week the CFLPA began mailing out strike ballots to its members. Pottinger has received his, and he has voted Yes. "Im hopeful," he said. "But the league has to start taking us seriously." For the most part, players have kept quiet over the last few months. The CFL made certain no one representing the league or any team spoke, threatening hefty fines for any league or team official willing to share any thoughts on the negotiations. And then today - after TSN initially reported the leagues latest offer to the players - CFL commissioner Mark Cohon released the offer on the leagues website along with an open letter to players and fans. The leagues offer includes an initial nine per cent increase on the salary cap — from the existing $4.4 million to $4.8 million — in the first year of a new CBA, and a yearly $50,000 increase over the life of a new five-year deal (putting the cap at $5,050,000). The league minimum salary would also be raised from $45,000 to $50,000. And the CFL would maintain a $450,000 annual payment to the CFLPA for "Player marketing and other rights." The proposal also includes larger active rosters, plans for limited amounts of contact practices, and the continuation of player pension, medical, and life insurance benefits. "The CFL offer strikes an appropriate balance of, on the one hand, providing significant compensation increases and health and safety improvements to the Players while, on the other hand, creating an environment in which the League and its teams can continue to build for a strong and stable future," Cohon wrote in his letter to the players. "I was surprised [the league went public]," Pottinger said. "This must have been their plan. We had an understanding that neither side would approach the media for 24 hours. [The players] gave that notice [Tuesday afternoon] and the league broke that understanding. They came in [to the proposed Toronto meeting place Wednesday] handedd their proposal and walked out. soccer jerseys china. Now is that bargaining?" Four hours later, CFLPA executives held a press conference and released their counterproposal. The crucial component of the players offer is $6.24 million salary cap partly determined by a revenue-sharing model, which would allocate 55 per cent of gross revenue from TV, internet and radio rights, 45 per cent of gross sponsorship revenue, and 40 per cent of gross ticket revenue to the players. "We advised the CFLPA in no uncertain terms that their proposal was not realistic, and would not form the basis for any financial settlement," Cohon said in his letter. "In fact, it would threaten the very existence of the CFL." "The league has only recently been upfront with us about their finances," Pottinger said. "This isnt just about the players now. This is about the players who are coming into the league, and who will come into the league. In five years, I will likely be out of the league. I want players coming to the CFL then to say Thanks for putting up a fight. CFLPA president Scott Flory also issued a letter to CFL fans Wednesday afternoon. "We are in not interested in destroying the game that has given us all so much. We put our bodies, hearts and souls on the line and seek nothing more than to be fairly paid for what we do," Flory wrote. Sources - players both close to the negotiations and outside of the meetings - have told TSN over the past few months that some kind of revenue-sharing scheme must be an integral part of any new CBA. But are the percentages in the CFLPAs recent proposal fixed, immutable numbers? Or a starting point that hasnt yet been properly considered? Pottinger, a businessman himself working toward his Master of Business Administration, paused when considering the questions. The terms "whats fair" and "fair share" were constantly repeated principles when players were advised to say little or nothing. The message wont change now. "In the end - and I know youve heard this enough times already - but we want whats fair," he said. "I want you to write this: Back in 2010 [when the soon-to-be-expired CBA was being negotiated] revenue sharing for the players was around 56 per cent. The league approached us and said they couldnt operate with a revenue sharing model. They told us the league wouldnt be healthy. They told us to be partners. We understood. We thought we were partners." "Now it just feels like take, take, take." Players used social media to air frustration and show their filled-in strike ballots. Ones with NO crossed have yet to be seen. "In writing this letter, we the Executive, are still here where our negotiations were scheduled to be, working towards furthering talks. We need two sides," Flory wrote in his open letter. What is the timetable now? Does Pottinger expect to miss the first week of training camp? The first preseason game? The first week of the regular season? Is he ready to strike? "Im still hopeful for a new deal," Pottinger said. Wholesale NFL Jerseys ' ' '

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Clippers co-owner Shelly Sterling would remain close to the organization under terms of the pending sale to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, according to two individuals close to the negotiations. Bashaud Breeland Redskins Jersey . The individuals, who are not authorized to speak publicly, told The Associated Press the $2 billion deal allows for up to 10 per cent of the team -- or $200 million -- to be spun off into a charitable foundation that Shelly Sterling would essentially run. The deal was negotiated by Shelly Sterling after husband Donald Sterlings racist remarks to a girlfriend were publicized and the NBA moved to oust him as team owner. One of the individuals said Shelly Sterling and Ballmer would be co-chairs of the foundation. The individuals said the foundation would target underprivileged families, battered women, minorities and inner city youths. "To benefit those on the receiving end of Donalds rather abhorrent remarks," one individual said. The idea to allow Shelly to continue some role was floated early on by her attorney, Pierce ODonnell -- neither he nor Shelly Sterling responded to a request for comment -- and it was enthusiastically agreed to by the NBA. "The NBA was all over it in terms of support," one of the individuals said. "It gave her a meaningful role and stake in the team, and gave the NBA 100 per cent sale of the team." However, the NBA made clear she wouldnt be involved with the basketball franchise. "It is not accurate that Mrs. Sterling will have a role with the Clippers or stake in the team," NBA spokesman Mike Bass said. Donald Sterlings attorney, Maxwell Blecher, did not comment. But its unclear if this deal will ever materialize as Donald Sterling still had not signed off on the deals terms because the NBA would not agree to revoke its $2.5 million fine and lifetime ban, according to one of the individuals. Sterling had agreed to sell the team Wednesday and drop his $1 billion federal lawsuit against the NBA assuming "all their differences had been resolved." But now hes considering continuing the suit after being told by intermediaries the NBA wont budge on the punishments doled out by Commissioner Adam Silver after Sterlings racist comments were publicized. Donald Sterlings consent to his wifes potentially record-breaking $2 billion deal was the first sign of an end to weeks of uncertainty. The NBAs owners must approve the deal. Donald Sterlings comments to V. Stiviano included telling her to not bring black people to Clippers games, specifically mentioning Hall of Famer Magic Johnson. They resulted in a storm of outrage from the public and players and even prompted President Barack Obama to comment on what he called Sterlings "incredibly offensive racist statements." Silver ultimately decided to ban Donald Sterling for life and began efforts to force Sterling to sell the team. Donald Sterlings federal lawsuit alleges that the league violated his constitutional rights by relying on information from an "illegal" recording that publicized racist remarks he made to a girlfriend. It also said the league committed a breach of contract by fining Sterling $2.5 million and that it violated antitrust laws by trying to force a sale. For weeks, Donald Sterling said through his attorneys that hed fight the NBAs attempt to oust him as a team owner. But last week Shelly Sterling utilized her authority as sole trustee of The Sterling Family Trust, which owns the Clippers, to take bids for the team and ultimately negotiate a deal with Ballmer. Under the deal Shelly Sterling would also get the title of "owner emeritus" and be entitled to continuing perks such as floor seats, additional seats at games and parking. One of the individuals said the deal also includes conditions that allow Ballmer to buy back the 10 per cent portion of the team for a pre-designated price upon Shelly Sterlings death. "All the proceeds go to charity, its not going to go to her," an individual said. "Shes walking away with a $2 billion check. Thats enough for her." Customized Washington Redskins Jersey . LOS ANGELES -- Chris Arreola once wanted to win football championships at Southern California. Randy Gregory Cowboys Jersey . Now that hes heading to the USC campus with a shot at a heavyweight title instead, hes determined not to waste it. Arreola (36-3, 31 KOs) has never been a boxer who seemed to worry much about missed opportunities, but the hard-hitting brawler from Riverside, Calif., realizes whats at stake when he faces Bermane Stiverne on May 10 at the Galen Center in downtown Los Angeles. "This is everything I always wanted to have, so I cant let it get away," Arreola said. The winner gets the vacant WBC heavyweight title, replacing the retired Vitali Klitschko. Nearly five years after Klitschko beat him just down Figueroa Street at Staples Center, Arreola has another chance to become the first Mexican-American heavyweight champion. Those stakes are enough to get the attention of Arreola, whose wavering professionalism and weight problems have defined him nearly as much as his punishing punches. Stiverne (23-1-1, 20 KOs) beat Arreola a year ago in a clear decision, announcing his own arrival as a contender by breaking Arreolas nose in the third round. Arreola acknowledged giving a poor effort in training for the bout at home in Riverside. "Ive been ready for this fight since I got out of the ring with (Stiverne) last year," Arreola said. "Ive got to stay in the gym. Ive got to stay committed to the sport I love so much." To that end, Arreolas trainer, Henry Ramirez, has moved their camp to San Diego, hoping its far enough away from Arreolas familiar haunts and questionable influences in Riverside. Ramirez moved Arreola to Phoenix to prepare for his fight against Seth Mitchell last September, and a fit, focused Arreola responded by stopping Mitchell in the first round. Arreola is aware of the biggest obstacle in his boxing career, and it isnt his opponent. "Im my own worst enemy," he said. "Im my danger. When Im at home, its 15 miles to my gym, and Ill find something. Ill get a flat (tire) on accident. In San Diego, theres only one set of car keys. If I want to do something, Ive got to run or walk, and you know how much I like to do that." Stiverne, a Haitian-born heavyweight living in Florida, is a relatively late arrival to title contention, although that didnt stop his promoter, Don King, from referring to the 35-year-old fighter as "a young Tyson." Stiverne hasnt lost since July 2007, but hasnt fought since soundly beating Arreola. Stiverne hoped for a shot at Klitschko late last year, but Klitschko had an injured right hand. Arreolas rematch with Stiverne is the second of three high-profile boxing shows in the Los Angeles area in a four-week span this spring. The Redskins are also setting up an interview with Vanderbilt coach James Franklin, bringing the total of known candidates to 11 - enough to field a team. Cincinnati Bengals offensive co-ordinator Jay Gruden said he was contacted by the Redskins on Monday and several media outlets reported that defensive co-ordinator Mike Zimmer, San Francisco 49ers offensive co-ordinator Greg Roman and defensive co-ordinator Vic Fangio, and San Diego Chargers offensive co-ordinator Ken Whisenhunt also were contacted Monday by Washington through their various teams, with the Redskins making the cursory requests for permission for an interview. None of the five was available last week under NFL rules because their teams were preparing for first-round playoff games. The Bengals were eliminated on Sunday, so Gruden and Zimmer are free to pursue head coaching opportunities immediately. Roman, Fangio and Whisenhunt can be interviewed this week, but they cannot be hired as long their respective teams remain alive in the post-season. The competition could be intense. The Redskins are one of five teams seeking a head coach, and several of their candidates have been approached by other teams. Gruden alone hhas drawn the interest of the Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee Titans and Detroit Lions. Jeff Heath Cowboys Jersey. "Theyre all different and theyre all looking for something unique," said Gruden, who also interviewed for multiple head coaching jobs last year. "Theyre looking for somebody to come in and bring something different than what they had. Meanwhile, at Redskins Park, New York Giants defensive co-ordinator Perry Fewell became at least the fifth known candidate to meet with general manager Bruce Allen. Allen has also interviewed Seattle Seahawks offensive co-ordinator Darrell Bevell, Dallas Cowboys special teams coach Rich Bisaccia, Carolina Panthers defensive co-ordinator Sean McDermott and Baltimore Ravens offensive co-ordinator Jim Caldwell. Franklin is expected to interview this week, according to John Wooten of the Fritz Pollard Alliance, a group that monitors coaching searches as part of its effort to encourage the hiring of minorities in the NFL. Hallandale Beach, FL (SportsNetwork. Maillot Antoine Griezmann .com) - Even-money favorite Liams Map proved a little too tough down the stretch and won Saturdays $100,000 Harlans Holiday Stakes at Gulfstream Park. Trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by John Velazquez, Liams Map had to overcome rival Valids physical stretch drive to win the 1 1/16-mile stakes in just his fourth career start. Liams Map pressed the early pace of Csaba until he went to the lead on the far turn. Valid, the 7-2 third pick in the eight-horse field, engaged Liams Map around the turn and the two battled through the stretch, banging against each other to the wire. Liams Map held on for a half-length victory over Valid with 2-1 second choice Pants On Fire finishing third. We had a really good trip and he put in a really good fight with the other horse, Velazquez said. He hasnt run in a lot of really tough races, but he ran really good. Hes inexperienced, but he put in a really good fight and thats what counts. The other horse came to him and he fought all the way down to the wire. Schivarelli was fourth followed by Rose to Gold, Hy Kodiak Warrior and Hampstead Heath. Csaba was eased down the stretch. The time for the Harlans Holiday was 1:42.51 on a fast track. Liams Map, owned by Teresa Viola racing Stables, added $60,000 to his bankroll which now stands at $164,800. The 3-year-old colt notched his first stakes win and his third victory overall. We knew he had a lot of natural ability, Pletcher said. What I like is a good horse looked him in the eye and he responded. Hes still a horse thats learning to run and with a race like that it could do him a lot of good because his last two wins have been pretty effortless. Liams Map paid $4.20, $2.80 and $2.20. After a groundout, Alburquerque relieved and pinch-hitter Yan Gomes was walked intentionally to load the bases. Ryan Raburn took the first pitch for a ball. As Alburquerque went into his set position, he appeared to move his leg and glove and then stopped. Indians manager Terry Francona couldnt remember a game ending on a balk, but he knew Alburquerque committed one. "It was definitely a balk," he said. "If they hadnt have called it we would have went out there and argued." The Tigers put up no argument. "He just went to come set and he stopped and it was pretty blatant," Avila said. "There wasnt any controversy about that one." According to STATS, the game-ending balk is the first since July 4, 2011, when the Royals Aaron Crow committed one in the ninth inning against the White Sox. Its also the first walkoff balk in extra innings since June 16, 2011, when the Mets D.J. Carrasco did it against the Braves. Josh Tomlin (3-1), the Indians ninth pitcher, worked the final three innings. Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera and manager Brad Ausmus were ejected in the sixxth inning by plate umpire Tim Timmons for arguing balls and strikes. Maillot De Foot Antoine Griezmann. Raburn raised his arms in victory after the balk was called and the Indians rushed from the dugout to mob Cabrera at the plate. Cabrera had been hit on the knee by Cokes pitcher and spent several moments on the ground before going to first. The Indians bid to win in the 10th ended when Davis throw to the plate got Lonnie Chisenhall, who was trying to score on Bourns flyball. Zach McAllister allowed four runs in the first and didnt retire a batter in the third. Having already used seven relievers, Francona had no choice but to call on Tomlin in the 11th even though the right-hander was scheduled to start Thursday in Baltimore. Asked how long Tomlin would have pitched, Francona said, "Till we won or lost. There was nobody else." "I dont know if Ive ever done that before, but I was ready," Tomlin. "They asked me about the 10th inning if I could pitch, so I ran and got my spikes." A roster move to add Thursdays starter will be made before that game. Max Scherzer allowed seven runs in seven innings. He gave up one run in the first, five in the second and another in the third, but blanked the Indians over his final four innings of work. The right-hander gave up 12 hits and threw 113 pitches. Scherzer, last seasons AL Cy Young winner, had allowed six total runs in his previous six starts, all wins, over 39 innings. A dropped throw by Cabrera helped Detroit break a 7-all tie in the eighth. J.D. Martinez, who hit a two-run homer in the first, had three RBIs. Victor Martinez was 3 for 6 with two RBIs, including a solo homer in the third. Chisenhall hit a solo homer for Cleveland. McAllister allowed five runs in two innings. Coming off a franchise-record 26-point second half blown lead that knocked them a season-high five games under . Cheap NFL Jerseys China .500, Raptors GM Masai Ujiri realizes his team has serious roster flaws and expects his conversations with GMs around the league to intensify following a Dec. 15 deadline which allows teams to deal the free agents they signed in the off-season. Speaking Thursday on TSN 1050, the first-year GM made a point of reassuring Torontos fan-base he would not tolerate the mediocre play that has led to the team missing the post-season for five consecutive years, while also failing to land a top-four draft pick. “We will not be caught in no-mans land,” Ujiri said, noting the roster he inherited from former GM Bryan Colangelo lacks chemistry and contains parts that are too similar to function properly. “We do have the same kind of players and we have to figure that out,” Ujiri said, while acknowledging the fact the team ranks dead-last in the NBA in assists to be an issue. Besides point guard Kyle Lowry, no Raptors player is averaging more than three per game. The assist issue, combined with the teams poor three-point shooting – Toronto is 20th in the NBA in three-point percentage and none of their starters average better than 40 percent – has played a large role in the teams 6-11 start. Ujiri said chemistry is a key issue for any team and although Dwane Casey is doing his best, he is limited because of the way the roster has been constructed. Cheap NFL Jerseys Online . After a poor showing in their opening Champions League tilt a fortnight ago, a 2-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund, the Gunners made a much better start to proceedings on Wednesday as Alexis Sanchez slid one through to Welbeck in the 22nd minute and the former Manchester United man fired it into the bottom right corner. Eight minutes later the hosts doubled their lead when Welbeck slipped through the Turkish defense and fired home for his second goal of the day. Four minutes before the break it was 3-0 to the home side as Sanchez sliced through the defense to the center of the box and smashed his strike into the bottom right corner to send the Gunners into the break with a comfortable margin. The Gunners poured it on in the second half as Welbeck slipped through the Galatasaray defense unmarked again in the 52nd minute and passed it into the gaping net to complete his hat trick in impressive fashion. Despite the comfortable advantage, not everything went perfectly for Arsenal on the night. Starting goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was shown a straight red card and conceded a penalty kick on the hour mark. David Ospina replaced Szczesny in goal and failed to stop Burak Yilmazs penalty kick as the Turkish side pulled it back to 4-1 in the 63rd minute of play. The visitors creeated a handful of scoring chances over the remaining 27 minutes, but could never get any closer as Arsenal held on to claim all three points. Cheap NFL Stitched Jerseys. Also in Group D on Wednesday, Ciro Immobile found the back of the net after just three minutes and scored twice over a span of 10 second-half minutes as Borussia Dortmund moved to the top of the group with a 3-0 win over Anderlecht. Liverpools second Champions League tilt did not go as planned as the Reds suffered a 1-0 defeat to Basel at St. Jakob Park courtesy of a 52nd-minute strike from Marco Streller off a corner kick. Coming off a 5-1 thrashing of Basel in their opening fixture, defending champions Real Madrid traveled to Bulgaria to face Ludogorets and went 1-0 down after six minutes thanks to a goal from Marcelinho. But Cristiano Ronaldo converted a penalty kick in the 25th minute and Karim Benzema hit for the winner with 13 minutes to play to take Los Blancos to the top of the group with six points. In Group C, Stefan Kiessling, Heung-Min Son and Hakan Calhanoglu all found the back of the to lift Bayer Leverkusen to a comfortable 3-1 win over Portuguese side Benfica at the BayArena, while Group Cs other matchup saw Zenit St. Petersburg and Monaco play to a scoreless draw. HOUSTON -- Matt Schaub will start at quarterback on Sunday for Houston against Denver and interim coach Wade Phillips expects him to receive a better reception than he did the last time he played at Reliant Stadium. Cheap Jerseys From China . Schaub will start for an injured Case Keenum and try to help the Texans end a 12-game skid. Schaubs last action in Houston came when he took over late in a game against Oakland on Nov. 17 as Keenum was struggling. The home crowd booed him so loudly when he entered the game that the offence was forced to use a silent count. "Im not worried about that because I know a majority of our fans are with us no matter what and theyve stuck through no matter what," Phillips said. "We appreciate them. This is our last home game, so we need a lot of support and I think well get it." Schaub, who was benched after six games, will start for the first time since Oct. 13. Keenum has an injury to a ligament in his right thumb and was unable to grip the football on Tuesday. Phillips said he will wear a splint this week and he isnt sure of his status past Sunday. Keenum fell on his thumb and injured it on the last of his four sacks in this weekends loss to the Colts. Schaub last played in the second half at Jacksonville on Dec. 5 and moved the ball well before throwing an interception on what could have been the go-ahead drive in a 27-20 loss. "Hes a consummate professional," Phillips said. "We know Matt. We know hell work hard at what he does and hes going to give us his best effort. And were going to support him." Also on Wednesday, Phillips announced that running back Ben Tate will be placed on the injured reserve after another injury to his ribs. Tate has been playing with four broken ribs since October, but hasnt missed a game. Phillips marveled at the toughness Tate has shown in playing through the injury. "A cracked rib is a problem, but its not something that that it could be too serious as far as his overall health," Phillips said. "But once you get it multiple times, I think youve got to shut him down." Already without Arian Foster, the team signed Jonathan Grimes to take Tates roster spot and add depth at running back. Undrafted rookie Dennis Johnson, who was signed in late October, will start on Sunday. Johnson has appeared in seven games this season with 37 carries for 154 yards. There was a bit of good news for the Texans on Wednesday as Phillips said the injuries to defensive end Antonio Smith (knee) and cornerback Johnathan Joseph (groin) werent serious and they are expected to return to practice Thursday. OTTAWA -- The Minnesota Wild didnt take long to rebound from an ugly loss. Cheap NFL Jerseys Online . Captain Mikko Koivu had a goal and two assists to lead the Wild to a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday. Koivu scored the winning goal with less than three minutes to play, allowing the Wild to rebound from the disappointment of Tuesdays 6-2 loss at Montreal. Former Senator Dany Heatley had a goal and an assist for the Wild (14-5-4) as did Jonas Brodin. Jason Pominville had the other Minnesota goal while Zach Parise had two assists. "I felt good going into this game and I felt confident that we were going to play really hard because of our leadership and because of the way weve responded in the past," Wild coach Mike Yeo said. "Ive got a lot of confidence in that leadership but the one thing I was worried about was our legs after three games in four days. I thought it was a factor in the first period but I thought our guys were able to find another gear." Milan Michalek scored on the power play as the teams approached the midway point of the third period to pull Ottawa even with the Wild, and it looked as if that goal would at least get the Senators to overtime. "Its disappointing. We got the game tied up, but again, were chasing the game. Any time youre chasing the game, it makes the game hard," Senators coach Paul MacLean said. Kyle Turris and Mika Zibanejad also scored for the Senators (8-10-4), who have lost three straight games and four of their past five. "Its very disappointing, its frustrating. We came out and had our best first period of the year. We played a pretty solid game but again, theres one or two mistakes that we let happen and they capitalized on," Turris said. A pair of goals in the second period allowed the Wild to take a 3-2 lead into the third, and Heatley played a part in both. He drew a primary assist on Brodins goal that tied the game 2-2 exactly three minutes into the period and then jammed in a loose puck while behind the net at 6:05. Heatley pushed a loose puck to the front of the net and then beat Senators defenceman Erik Karlsson to the puck before banking it off goaltender Craig Andersons right pad and in, all while standing behind the goal-line. "Whether were in Ottawa or not were worried about our team and (Tuesday) night wasnt acceptable and I think everyone thought that way. We needed to come back with a big win and we did," said Heatley, who had a sour parting of the ways after four season in the Senators organization. The Wild had the only power play of the first period but it proved to be fruitful for both sides while Jared Cowen sat in the penalty box for interference. The Senators opened the scoring with a short-handed goal on a nifty pass from Clarke MacArthur to Turris. With his stick between his legs, MacArthur fed Turris in the slot and his one-timer slowly trickled across the goal-line at 5:54. But just 59 seconds later Pominville took a pass at the corner of the face-off circle and beat Anderson with a quick shot inside the near post. Pominville, who leads the Wild with 13 goals, skated in the warm-up but was listed as a scratch on the starting line up before eventually suiting up. Zibanejad gave the Senators the lead at 11:11 but the celebration was short-lived. The Senators outshot the Wild 37-25, making it just the sixth time the season they have outshot their opposition. It was also just the sixth time in 22 games they have allowed fewer than 30 shots. "On a positive side of it, we look at the stat sheet and the balance (shots on goal) is starting to go the other way. So thats a positive for us. We only gave up 25 shots on our net. The scoring chances are unofficially in our favour, we gave up a lot less," MacLean said. "Are we going in the right direction? We believe so, but we wont know until our next game." Notes: The Senators played their 800th home game in franchise history, and 676th at the building currently named the Canadian Tire Centre ... The Senators have lost only 15 man-games to injury all season. The Wild have lost 62 ... The Wild recalled forward Jason Zucker from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League. Zucker had four goals and eight points in 12 games with Iowa this season ... Minnesota has allowed a league-low 23 five-on-five goals this season ... Matt Kassian, Eric Gryba and Joe Corvo were scratches for the Senators while Torrey Mitchell and Mike Rupp didnt dress for the Wild. Cheap NFL Jerseys China . Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale .com) - Avery Bradley scored 21 points and the Boston Celtics beat the Brooklyn Nets, 89-81. http://www.cheapnflonlinejerseys.com/ . -- Jim Furyk was 10 shots worse and right where he wanted to be Saturday in the BMW Championship.WASHINGTON -- Check two more items off the list in an impressive homestretch by the Boston Bruins. They are now Atlantic Division champions, and Jarome Iginla has recovered from his slow start to reach 30 goals once again. Boston accomplished those feats Saturday against the Washington Capitals, a desperate team whose first and foremost goal -- making the playoffs for a seventh straight season -- looked a bit more distant after Saturdays 4-2 loss. "We need these wins so bad," Washington defenceman Karl Alzner said, "that sometimes you overplay. It can be a big problem that can really mess your game up." And its not a good idea to mess up against the Bruins, who have won 14 of 15 and have allowed only 13 goals over 11 games. Iginla scored twice, and Carl Soderberg added a goal to give Boston a 3-0 lead in the second period, more than enough to hold off a surge from a Washington team that woke up too late. The Bruins had already clinched a playoff spot, so the division title didnt create so much as a celebratory ripple in the locker room. "We dont even talk about that. I wasnt even -- I knew there was something that would happen if we won tonight, but we find out now weve clinched and thats fine," coach Claude Julien said. "Again, weve got an opportunity to do even more than that." Patrice Bergeron added a third-period goal to extend his goal-scoring streak to a career-high six games, and Chad Johnson made 31 saves. Iginla reached the 30-goal mark for the 12th time, a nice comeback after scoring only four in the first 24 games this season. "When you look at the start he had, nobody would have predicted that," Julien said. "But hes a pretty streaky goal-scorer." Iginla now has 10 goals in nine games. "Ive been getting some good bounces lately, and its been a fun year," he said. "Fun to win games and be at the top of the league, and to be on some streaks as a group." Washington began the day tied with Columbus, Detroit and Toronto in what has essentially become a four-way race for two playoff spots, but the Capitals would lose a tiebreaker against all three teams. The Bruins gave the CCapitals top-rated power play only three chances, and they corralled Alex Ovechkin enough to keep the NHLs leading goal scorer in a 5-on-5 slump. Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic. Ovechkin has 48 goals this season, but hasnt scored at even-strength since Feb. 27. The Capitals had no shots on goal in the first 6 minutes and only two after 14 minutes. The game was scoreless after the first period solely because of goalie Braden Holtby, but he could hold down the fort for only so long. A turnover at centre ice allowed Soderberg to spring Iginla for a breakaway that opened the scoring in the second period. A few minutes later, Soderberg redirected an already deflected shot by Bergeron on a power play to make it 2-0, and Iginla made it a three-goal lead by stuffing in his own rebound 41 seconds later. Washington coach Adam Oates said he was "shocked" at how poorly his team started. "I thought our forechecking was lousy," Oates said. When the Capitals finally turned up the intensity, it came from the third line that has led the team in recent weeks. Jason Chimera put Washington on the board with 10 seconds remaining in the second period, and a dominant shift by Chimeras line drew a penalty on Andrej Meszaros in the third. But the Capitals couldnt score during the man-advantage, and soon the Bruins had a power play of their own. With Ovechkin off for charging, Bergeron put in a rebound to restore the three-goal cushion. Oates said the penalty on Ovechkin was a "terrible" call. "I dont like the call, but he called it," Oates said. "He saw something that I dont agree with now, but our job is to kill it." NOTES: Evgeny Kuznetsov scored his second NHL goal in the final minute. ... Capitals D Jack Hillen sat out with an upper-body injury sustained in a collision with Ovechkin during overtime of Tuesdays loss to the Los Angeles Kings. Hillen was replaced by John Erskine, who had been out with a lower-body injury and played for the first time since March 5. ... The Capitals are the last team to beat the Bruins in regulation, a 4-2 win on March 1. Since then, Boston has outscored opponents 54-20 in non-shootout goals. Wholesale NFL Jerseys ' ' '

PHOENIX -- Miguel Montero took two mighty swings, trying to end the game on both. Chris Clark Jersey UK . He failed, so for the third, he shortened up, trying to protect the plate. That ball ended up going out and, boy, did the Arizona Diamondbacks need it. Montero hit a leadoff homer in the 10th inning after Martin Prado hit a two-run single in the ninth, helping the Diamondbacks end a four-game losing streak with a 5-4 win over the Colorado Rockies Wednesday night. "I was swinging hard, trying to launch one," Montero said of his first two swings. "Its a pretty funny game. It was the last pitch I was thinking about in that count and it was a short swing, I was kind of quick on it. That protect swing was pretty good." And a good thing for the Diamondbacks. Stuck in a rut, Arizona appeared to be in trouble after Colorado went up 4-0 after three innings on Carlos Gonzalezs two-run homer and pitcher Jordan Lyles leadoff shot in the third. It took some time, but the Diamondbacks worked their way back into it. After struggling early, Josh Collmenter quieted the Rockies bats over his final four innings and Trevor Cahill did the same while getting six outs. Paul Goldscmidt gave Arizonas offence a little life in the eighth inning, hitting a solo homer off Adam Ottavino. In the ninth, the Diamondbacks strung together a string of two-strike hits to load the bases against Rex Brothers, and Prado tied it at 4 with a two-run single up the middle. Addison Reed (1-2) kept the Rockies in check by stranding a runner at third in the 10th inning and Montero, after a couple of misses, ended it with his first career walkoff hit, a towering homer to right off Tommy Kahnle (2-1). Montero was mobbed as he crossed the plate and was treated to a dirt bath -- an Arizona walkoff tradition -- that was a nice release for a team that had won two of its first 13 games at Chase Field. "We needed that," Arizona manager Kirk Gibson said. "It was good that the guys hung in there." The Rockies certainly didnt want to end their six-game road trip this way. Colorado won four of the first give games and appeared to be in control after Lyles pitched six effective innings. But the Rockies lost the lead after Brothers struggled to put away hitters and the game when Montero hit a 1-2 fastball over the wall. Nolan Arenado extended his majors-best hitting streak to 20 games with a single in the sixth inning for Colorado, which had three hits after the third inning. "We had the game in control it looked like for most of the game, so it was a tough one to lose," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. "It is always tough when you dont put games away." The Rockies beat up on Arizonas pitching the first two games of the series, with 13 runs and 23 hits, including 12 for extra bases. They kept it up early against Collmenter -- with a little help from the right-hander. Gonzalez got it going in the first inning, eking a two-run homer just over the wall in the right. Collmenter had a wild pitch to advance Jordan Pacheco to third in the second inning, but got a break when he was called out on appeal for leaving the base too early on a fly to right. Lyles led off the third with his first homer on Sept. 30, 2012, with the Astros at Milwaukee, and Collmenter followed with another wild pitch that scored Charlie Blackmon to put Colorado up 4-0. Collmenter settled in after that, retiring 10 straight batters until Arenados two-out single in the sixth inning. Collmenter allowed four runs on seven hits in seven innings. "He really started getting the ball down, locating better, getting his curveball down," Gibson said. "He was much more effective and to throw seven innings like that was really what we needed." That kept the Diamondbacks in it, but they couldnt get much going against Lyles. Prado hit a one-out triple off Lyles in the first inning, but was thrown out at the plate trying to score on a grounder by Goldschmidt. Arizona loaded the bases against Lyles in the sixth, scoring just one run, on Aaron Hills groundout. The Diamondbacks struggled in a similar situation the night before, failing to score with the bases loaded and no outs in a 5-4 loss to the Rockies. Unlike the night before, Arizona found a way to win it when Brothers couldnt put hitters away, particularly Prado, whos tying hit came with two strikes. "One pitch away from that game being in the books. No doubt about it," Brothers said. "I didnt execute. Bottom line. I didnt execute a pitch." NOTES: Arizonas starters have allowed 28 homers, most in the majors. ... Colorados Justin Morneau went 0 for 4 to end a 13-game hitting streak. ... The Diamondbacks have Thursday off before starting a three-game road series against San Diego with RHP Bronson Arroyo on the mound. ... Dan Haren pitched six innings and sparked the go-ahead rally with a single, leading Los Angeles to another win over the skidding Atlanta Braves, 4-2 on Tuesday night. http://www.nflauthenticshopuk.com/Denver-Broncos-James-Casey-Jersey-Uk/ . The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal is pending Benoit passing a physical. In his first season as Tigers closer, Benoit had 24 saves in 26 chances. But in Game 2 of the AL championship series, he allowed a tying grand slam by Bostons David Ortiz that was a turning point in the series. A starter early in his career, Benoit has been strictly a reliever since 2006 while with the Texas Rangers. He is 44-35 lifetime with a 4.11 ERA and 37 saves. Benoit, who turns 37 on July 26, is expected to replace setup man Luke Gregerson, who was traded to Oakland for outfielder Seth Smith. He could also be insurance for closer Huston Street, whos been on the disabled list three times the last two seasons. Street is entering the final year of a $14 million, two-year deal. The Padres hold a $7 million option for 2015. RANGERS ROCK PENGUINS Facing elimination, the New York Rangers invaded Pittsburgh, earned a first-period lead and never let the Penguins back into it, winning 5-1 in Game Five, forcing Game Six back in Manhattan. Derick Brassard and Mats Zuccarello each had three points for the Rangers, while LW Chris Kreider and D Ryan McDonagh each contributed a goal and an assist. Brassard, who was a point-per-game player for the Rangers in a dozen playoff games last year, now has six points (3 G, 3 A) in 12 playoff games this season, while Zuccarello is up to eight points (3 G, 5 A). Zuccarello also had the best possession stats for the Rangers, with 16 shot attempts for and seven against. The Blueshirts had 69.6% of the attempts with Zuccarello on the ice and 48.6% when he was off the ice. This was only Kreiders second game of the playoffs, and he was effective on a line with Derek Stepan and Rick Nash. Both Kreider and Brassard tied for the Rangers team lead with six hits. McDonagh, who only had one assist in 11 playoff games prior to Game Four, had a goal and an assist, with both points coming on the previously beleaguered Rangers power play. After scoring two goals on three attempts with the man advantage, maybe the Rangers are ready to leave that PP slump in the rearview mirror. After getting annihilated by Pittsburghs Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in Game Four, the Rangers (led by McDonagh and Dan Girardi) were much more effective against that duo in Game Five. While Malkin scored a goal, Crosby was on for 13 shot attempts for and 18 against. The inspirational story for the Rangers was veteran RW Martin St. Louis, playing a day after his mother died suddenly. St. Louis didnt have his best game, but the Rangers rallied around him and G Henrik Lundqvist stopped 31 of 32 Pittsburgh shots to keep the series going. The Penguins line of James Neal, Jussi Jokinen and Brandon Sutter didnt fare too well in the possession game. Neal, in particular, was on the ice for 28.6% of the 5-on-5 shot attempts when he was on thee ice, while the Penguins had 54. Cheap Jerseys USA. 0% of the shot attempts with Neal off the ice. In a must-win game, the Rangers played with an urgency that they havent shown in this series and are rewarded with a home date for Game Six. Theyre not out of the woods, by any means, but deserve credit for a big road win. WILD AT HEART The Minnesota Wild dominated play against the Chicago Blackhawks and won Game Four by a 4-2 score, evening the series at two games apiece. Wild defencemen Jared Spurgeon and Ryan Suter each had two points. Spurgeon, who had a goal and an assist, now has five points in the playoffs. Suter is up to seven. Wild LW Matt Cooke returned to the lineup, after serving a seven-game suspension and replaced Matt Moulson, who is out with a lower-body injury. Cooke was an impact player for Minnesota, playing a physical game (a game-high five hits), and chipping in an assist on the first goal of the game. He set the tone. Wild forwards Mikael Granlund, Erik Haula and Jason Pominville were all on for better than 70% of the 5-on-5 shot attempts, while Blackhawks RW Ben Smith had a game to forget, on for zero 5-on-5 shot attempts and 13 against. Smith spent the first half of the game on a line with Jonathan Toews, who was on for seven attempts for and 21 against, his 25% Corsi% was his lowest of the year. Toews faced the Wilds top defence pair, Suter and Jonas Brodin, for most of the night. Blackhawks RW Marian Hossa had two assists and D Brent Seabrook had one; they are tied for Chicagos playoff scoring lead with 10 points. Neither goaltender, Chicagos Corey Crawford or Minnesotas Ilya Bryzgalov, looked sharp, but with the Wild controlling play, they had more opportunities to take advantage against Crawford. In front of a rowdy home crowd, the Wild continued their winning ways, now 5-0 at home in the postseason. If theyre going to pull off the upset, though, they are going to need to win at least one in Chicago. SYDNEY, Australia -- The manager of Olympic swimming great Ian Thorpe says the five-time gold medallist is in rehab after being found disoriented on a Sydney street early Monday morning by police responding to a call from residents. Dan Marino Dolphins Throwback Jersey . James Erskine told the Australian Associated Press that Thorpe was affected by a combination of antidepressants and the painkillers he was taking for a shoulder injury. Police spoke to Thorpe after residents near his parents home in Panania in Sydneys southwest reported a man allegedly breaking into a van. He was taken to Sydneys Bankstown Hospital for assessment and was later transferred to a rehab facility. "He is in rehab for depression," AAP quoted Erskine as saying. Erskine said Thorpe had thought he was sitting in his friends car. "The owner of the car basically called the police and the police came," he said. "They realized it was Ian Thorpe. They realized he was disoriented." Erskine said Thorpe, 31, had been taking antidepressants and medication for his shoulder but had not been drinking alcohol. "He hadnt had a drink," he said. "He had zero alcohol in him." Police said no official complaint has been made and no further police action is anticipated. Thorpe, who is currently living in Switzerland, has been staying with his parents over Christmas. Erskines admission that Thorpe is in rehab comes only days after Thorpes management company denied reports he checked into a rehab facility while battling depression and alcohol abuse. News Corporation, quoting friends of Thorpe, said he had been injured in a fall at his parents home and was taken to hospital. Reports said Thorpe checked into a rehab facility, but later checked out and returned to his parents home. Thorpes management company, SEL, later issued a statement denying the reports. "Ian is not in rehab," a SEL representative said Friday. "Ian was in hospital for an operation on his shoulder and is pleased to let his friends and fans know that he is now out of hospital and on the mend." In his autobiography, published last year, Thorpe said "not even my family is aware that Ive spent a lot of my life battling what I can only describe as crippling depression." Thorpe, known to fans as Thorpedo, was a freestyle specialist and one of the greatest swimmers of his generation. He won three gold and two silver medals at the 2000 Sydney Olympics -- the most medals won by any individual competitor at those games -- and two more golds at the 2004 Athens Olympics. He also won 11 world championships gold medals, including six at the 2001 championships at Fukuoka, Japan. When he won his first world championships gold at the age of 14 in Perth in 1998, he was the youngest-ever individual male world champion. At various times Thorpe held 13 individual world records and shared five others in relay events. The 400m freestyle was his signature event which he dominated at Olympics and World championships over more than six years. Thorpe retired from swimming in November, 2006, but attempted a comeback in 2012. His attempt to win a place on the Australian team for the London Olympics was unsuccessful and his thoughts of competing at the 2013 World Championships or 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games were thwarted by a shoulder injury. Friends said he struggled to adjust to life after swimming. Daryl Johnston Cowboys Throwback Jersey . But Erick Torres converted a volley in the 94th minute to give Chivas USA a 1-0 victory and deny the Impact a point. "Its heartbreaking," Montreal coach Frank Klopas said. "I feel for my players because they put a lot into the game. I definitely feel that we should have walked away with points. "But, sometimes, the game is cruel." Chivas USA (5-7-5) earned its third consecutive win when Torres scored his 12th goal of the season, and his fourth in four games. Marco Delgados shot ricocheted off Impact defender Matteo Ferrari to an unmarked Torres, who tapped the ball to himself with his right foot and sent a nine-yard volley between goalkeeper Troy Perkins and the right-wing post. Until Torres scored, Montreal (3-8-5) had not allowed a goal in 405 successive minutes spanning three MLS games and the Canadian Championship win against Toronto FC on June 4. Seconds after the Impact took the ensuing kickoff, referee Juan Guzman whistled the games end. The Impact had three chances to scorre. Michael Jordan White Sox Throwback Jersey. . In the 18th minute, an unmarked Felipe Martins chipped his 14-yard shot over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Chivas USA goalkeeper Dan Kennedy deflected Andres Romeros 27-yard shot to Jack McInerney, who also fired shot over the crossbar from nine yards. Then in the 66th minute, Kennedy used his right hand to deflect Romeros eight-yard shot into his body while on his knees. "I just felt our decision-making could have been better," Klopas said. "We had chances in transition when they were pushing forward. But once they were set, we kept forcing every play to be the perfect pass." The Impact remains the only MLS team without a win on the road. Klopas believes time is running out for his team to win away from Stade Saputo. "Now, the second half of the season is starting and every game becomes very important," Klopas said. "For us, its going to be a difficult stretch. Weve got to find ways to get points on the road. I felt tonight was a really great opportunity." Perkins made two saves and needs three more to tie former Canadian international Pat Onstad for ninth place in career saves. NEW YORK, N. LaAdrian Waddle Jersey .Y. - Kevin Durant scored 29 points, Russell Westbrook had a triple-double by the middle of the third quarter, and the Oklahoma City Thunder rolled to a 123-94 victory Wednesday over the New York Knicks, who played without Carmelo Anthony. The Durant-Anthony showdown between the NBAs top two scorers was cancelled because of Anthonys sprained left ankle, so the Thunder had the Christmas spotlight all to themselves while winning for the 10th time in 11 games. Westbrook finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in his first triple-double of the season and seventh of his career. Serge Ibaka added 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Amare Stoudemire scored a season-high 22 points, and Tim Hardaway Jr. had 21 for the Knicks, who also were missing starting point guard Raymond Felton. J.R. Smith scored 20 points, but shot 8 for 22 and was booed when he left the court for good. Anthony was forced to sit out for the first time this season. The Knicks were never really in it without him and may not have had a chance with him the way the Thunder played. The Knicks not only had trouble with the Thunder, but also with the special edition sleeved jerseys NBA teams are wearing on Christmas. Beno Udrih hit the side of the backboard on two shot attempts in the first half, tugging on his sleeve after the second as if blaming his struggles on his equipment. Oklahoma City had a much easier time in the uniforms. Coach Scott Brooks said before the game the Thunder hadnt had a formal practice in them, but players had shot around the last few days in the jerseys that featured a giant logo in the middle of the chest and jersey numbers on the left sleeve. "They look great. Hopefully, we play well in them," Brooks said. They played superbly. Coming off a 104-98 loss to Toronto on Sunday that ended a nine-game winning streak and was their first setback at home this season, they shot 54 per cent and got 18 points from Reggie Jackson. Durant made all five shots in the first quarter, with the Thunder leading 35-29 after shooting 70 per cent. Jackson and Durant made 3-pointers to start the second, making Oklahoma City 16 of 22. Ibaka did most of the work in an 8-2 spurt midway through the period that extended the lead to 52-35, and the Thunder led 60-46 at halftime. They kept up the pressure in the third, Durant and Westbrook taking turns being unguardable on the perimeter, and Oklahoma City went on to its sixth straight road victory. Anthony was hurt Monday night in a victory at Orlando, saying afterward he hoped to play Wednesday. But he looked glum and wasnt walking particularly well by the locker room area after getting treatment and testing the ankle, and the Knicks announced he wouldnt be in uniform about 50 minutes before the start. He sat on the bench wearing a brown sports jacket, getting up slowly during timeouts whenever the Knicks called them in a futile attempt to stop the Thunders onslaught. Anthony averaged 28.7 points last season, ending Durants three-year reign as scoring champion, but Durant has moved right back to the top this season with 28.1 to Anthonys 26.3. The Knicks fell to 0-7 in orange uniforms this season. Notes: Chris Smith, J.R.s brother, made his NBA debut with a scoreless minute at the end. ... Im just here so I wont get fined, Lynch repeatedly stated to a large assemblage of reporters. Lynch did say something different at the end of his brief and awkward interaction. Four minutes and 51 seconds into the conference, the five-time Pro Bowl back picked up his phone and shouted Time! before proceeding to walk away from the podium. ESPN had reported that Lynch would have been subjected to a $500,000 fine from the NFL had he not attended Tuesdays Media Day. SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Adam Snyder returned to the San Francisco 49ers this season because the offensive lineman thought it was his best opportunity to win a championship. Nothing that has happened the past two weeks has shaken that belief, and his teammates and coaches feel the same way. But theres a sense of urgency as the defending NFC champions take a two-game losing streak into Monday nights game against the Washington Redskins. The 49ers (6-4) have slipped to the sixth and final spot in the conference playoff picture, as San Francisco prepares for the seasons stretch run. Snyder will be in the middle of it Monday when he makes his first start of the season. The ninth-year veteran takes the place of injured All-Pro left guard Mike Iupati for a struggling offence that has been a big reason for the teams recent slide that followed a five-game winning streak. Its a familiar situation for Snyder, who made 69 starts at four line positions during his first stint in San Francisco from 2005-2011. Whats not so familiar for the 49ers is a losing streak that has dropped them near the edge of playoff contention. Its just the second time San Francisco has lost two games in a row since coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff arrived in 2011. But the 49ers, who were 9-1 and 7-2-1 after 10 games the past two seasons, remain confident they can get back on course for a return to the Super Bowl. "I still believe that and I know that everybody in this locker room believes that, and thats where we are right now," Snyder said Saturday. "The games become more important now. We put ourselves in this position coming down the stretch and we use it as motivation. Things didnt go the way that we planned, but we just have to keep fighting, stay on task, and thats what were doing every day." As his team prepared to leave for Washington early Saturday afternoon, Harbaugh was able to stray from his usual "one-game-at-a-time" mentality and look at the big picture. The 49ers, two-time defending NFC West champions, trail the Seattle Seahawks by 3 1/2 games in the division with six to play. One of those games is a home rematch with Seattle in two weeks. "The thing you look at is, the season plays out differently each year," Harbaugh said. "I mean, the sense of urgency is high every week. Theres plenty of opportunity ahead of us and the opportunity thats staring us right here in the face is a very good one, and thats what we focus on." Iupati suffered ligament damage in his left knee during last weeks 23-20 loss at New Orleans, ending his run of 63 consecutive starts to begin his career since the 49ers made him the 17th overall selection of the 2010 draft. San Franciscos offence had been struggling even with the first-team All-Pro in the lineup, gaining 151 total yards during a 10-9 home loss to Carolina two weeks ago and then 196 yards last week at New Orleans. In that game, 17 of San Franciscos 20 points came after turnovers by the Saints. The other three came on Phil Dawsons 29-yard field goal that followed the Saints turnover on downs in the third quarter. Dawsons kick culminated a 49-yard drive that was San Franciscos longest of the day. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been sacked nine times the past two weeks after San Franciscos line allowed just seven sacks over the previous five games. The 49ers arent expecting much drop-off with Snyder, who started 15 games at right guard in 2011 before leaving the team as a free agent. Snyder started 14 games for the Arizona Cardinals last season before returning to San Francisco. "Adams a guy we have complete and utter faith in," offensive co-ordinator Greg Roman said. "So thats really about it. Hes a very versatile guy. Plug him in and go. Dont even blink." Iupatis injury will break a string of consecutive starts for San Franciscos offensive line. All five starters along that unit earned recognition last season as either a Pro Bowl starter or Pro Bowl alternate, and all five started each of San Franciscos 19 games last season and all 10 so far this season. "Its rare to have an offensive line go through almost an entire two seasons and not have an injury," Snyder said. "They were fortunate enough to do that but now I have to step in and I dont want to have any drop-off in the level of production. I think Im capable of doing that. Theyre big shoes to fill, but its not like Im stepping into a situation that Ive never been in and theyve never been a part of." <a href="http://www.asicszapatillasrunning.es/asics-onitsuka-tiger-mexico-66.html">Asics Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Baratas</a>. Check out the freeze frame of the shot. Cavaliers shooting guard Craig Ehlo makes a solid play on the ball, but still Jordan hits the amazing shot. His emphatic celebration is also a huge part of the moment. It was actually recreated (along with many of Jordans classic moments) in this awesome commercial. Not many players have the clutch gene that Jordan possessed, case in point, well leave you with his top ten clutch shots. I kind of got a taste of being able to pick a suit with the draft lottery, I went with the bow tie.The day before the biggest match of her life, Genie Bouchard went through a tense practice, which saw her and coach Nick Saviano engage in several heated discussions. "Im telling you my opinion," Bouchard was heard to say to Saviano. "So basically, Im not allowed to tell you my opinion?" "No," responded Saviano. The workout ended with the 20-year-old Bouchard hitting the ball into a nearby food court and walking off. Bouchard and Saviano have worked together since she was just 12-years-old. Its a strong relationship. Both have fiery personalities and arent afraid to show it. Saviano was not available for comment after practice while Bouchard, as is custom with tennis players, did not meet with the media on a non-match day. Several veteran journalists said that while this was an unusual exchange between player and trainer, especially considering the timing, but there is no way of knowing what impact, if any, this will have on Bouchards psyche. But if there is one thing Bouchard has shown in her still young professional career, its that she seems to show tremendouss poise under fire.dddddddddddd "She just finds a way to get herself back into sets and get herself back into matches," said ESPN analyst Darren Cahill. "And then when she gets there, shes not scared of the finish line and I think thats what her greatest quality is." "Experience-wise its a huge gap. Maria was a finalist last year, she won here the year before, shes playing better than anyone on clay than anyone right now, Shes won every Slam once and Genie hasnt even been to a final yet," added Tom Perrotta, tennis reporter for the Wall Street Journal. "Of course the odds are with Maria Sharapova. Shes been in this position many times before but Eugenie has nothing to lose so she can play with youthful abandon, go for broke and see what happens," said Martina Navratilova, who won 18 Grand Slam titles over her career. "Shes been playing well, very smart tennis. It will interesting to see if shes playing just well enough to beat Maria. We know one day she will be playing well enough to beat anybody but is that day here now?" <a href="http://www.jerseysandchinacheap.com/">Wholesale Jerseys</a> ' ' '

For the first time in their 21 seasons, the Winnipeg Goldeyes have won 11 consecutive games. The Goldeyes ran away with it late in a 14-4 win over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Sunday afternoon after Newman Outdoor Field. The win gives Winnipeg their third consecutive sweep and, at the very least, maintains the Goldeyes 8 1/2 game lead in the American Associations North Division. Like they had done the previous two nights, the Goldeyes scored first. Donnie Webb came through with a two-RBI single in the top of the first to give Winnipeg and early 2-0 advantage. After Fargos Nic Jackson hit a solo home run off Goldeyes starter Ethan Hollingsworth in the bottom of the second, Josh Mazzola kept Winnipeg in front by gunning out Anthony Kaskadden at home plate on a ground ball. Fargo took their first lead of the series in the bottom of the fourth on Travis Higgs two-RBI single. The Goldeyes had left the bases loaded in the top of the fourth, but wouldnt make the same mistake in the top of the sixth. After Ryan Pineda extended the inning by beating out a potential double play ball, Casey Haerther eventually came to the plate with two out and cracked a two-RBI single to put Winnipeg back on top. The hit extended Haerthers hitting streak to 17 games. The game stayed that way until Winnipeg blew the doors off in the top of the ninth with two outs. Reggie Abercrombie started it with a two-run home run off Fargo reliever Erik Draxton. After Brock Bond scored on a wild pitch by RedHawks reliever Nate Garcia, who came in for Draxton, Kuhn hit a two-RBI double off Garcia. Mazzola then hit the next pitch down the left field line to score Kuhn. After Ray Sadler doubled in Mazzola and Haerther drew a walk, Webb cracked the first pitch he saw over the right field fence for a three-run home run. Fargo added a run in the bottom of the ninth off Goldeyes reliever Chris Kissock on a sac fly. All nine Goldeyes hitters had at least one hit in the game, led by Alens three-hit afternoon. Webb had five RBI. Hollingsworth went 7 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits. He struck out five and walked two to get the win in his third consecutive quality start. Kevin Fuqua took the loss for Fargo. In the sweep, the Goldeyes trailed for just two innings all series. <a href="http://www.nygiantsfanatic.com/c-36-giants-michael-strahan-jersey.aspx">Michael Strahan Jersey</a>. The FPPC found that, just days after the NBA rejected Hansens $625 million bid to buy the Sacramento Kings and move them to Seattle, he gave $100,000 to a group leading an effort to thwart Sacramentos efforts to keep the team. A group of investors led by technology executive Vivek Ranadive bought the team for $535 million, one day after the NBA rejected Hansens bid. The NBA has said that Sacramento must build a modern arena to keep the Kings in town. The teams new owners have set a 2016 target. The state political watchdog found that Hansen gave $100,000 to a group gathering signatures to thwart Sacraamentos plan to keep the team by forcing a citywide vote on the citys planned $258 million subsidy for a downtown arena.dddddddddddd Hansen tried to buy the team earlier this year as city officials scrambled to find a buyer who would keep the franchise in Sacramento. The FPPC said Hansen is being punished for failing to file a campaign statement. Hansen has agreed to the fine, and the commission will vote to make it official. The hedge fund manager has apologized, saying he regretted his actions. "I take a lot of pride trying to do things the right way in my life, and I simply should not have allowed myself to get caught up in the competitive dynamics of this situation and never should have agreed to commit any funds to the Sacramento Arena opposition -- under any circumstances," Hansen said in a statement posted on his website. <a href="http://www.jerseysandchinacheap.com/">Wholesale Jerseys</a> ' ' '
