A power performance from a Blackhawks power forward, a breakout game for a Ducks rookie, a top scoring Toronto winger, lineup news, Fantasy tips and more in Scott Cullen’s Statistically Speaking. Patrice Bergeron Bruins Jersey . HEROES Bryan Bickell – The Blackhawks left winger had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over Minnesota Sunday; he has seven points (5 G, 2 A) in the past seven games as he’s taken Kris Versteeg’s spot on the wing with Brad Richards and Patrick Kane. While his offensive production tends to come and go, Bickell has been a steady possession player (56.4% Corsi) over the past three seasons. Rickard Rakell – The 2011 first-round pick has been a bit of an afterthought this season, so it goes for a rookie playing behind Ryan Getzlaf and Ryan Kesler on the centre depth chart, but he busted out with two goals and two assists (plus a shootout goal) in Sunday’s 5-4 shootout win against Winnipeg. It snapped Rakell’s six-game point drought and gives him 12 points (3 G, 9 A) in 32 games this season. James van Riemsdyk – The Maple Leafs’ left winger had two goals and an assist, with 11 shot attempts (8 SOG) in Friday’s 5-2 win over Columbus. In the past 16 games, van Riemsdyk has 19 points (9 G, 10 A) and, with 40 points in 42 games, is scoring at career-high rates (0.45 goals and 0.95 points per game). ZEROES Ryan O’Reilly – The usually reliable Avalanche centre had a rough game against Dallas Saturday, failing to register a shot attempt and getting crushed in possession (5 shot attempts for, 27 against, 15.6%) Paul Gaustad – The Predators checking centre is used more in the defensive zone, but he could barely get out in Saturday’s win over Minnesota, on for one shot attempt for and 13 against (7.1%). Goalies: Antti Raanta – Chicago’s goaltender allowed four goals on 21 shots at Edmonton Friday, the first time all season that he allowed more than three goals against. Brian Elliott – Pulled from the St. Louis net after surrendering three goals on 10 shots against Carolina Saturday. LINEUP NEED TO KNOW Jets getting healthy – Defencemen Tobias Enstrom, Mark Stuart and Zach Bogosian and left winger Evander Kane have all returned to the Winnipeg lineup. Suddenly, there’s no room for Adam Pardy and Paul Postma in the regular lineup, but it’s a credit to the Jets that they were able to withstand such a bad run of injuries. Incidentally, rookie Ben Chiarot played 24:00 at Los Angeles Saturday and 22:39 at Anaheim Sunday, his two highest ice times of the season, so he’s not getting phased out despite these returns. Joe Thornton – Returned to the San Jose lineup Saturday, after missing nine days, and was on for all three goals against in a 3-1 loss to the Rangers. Tanner Pearson – The Kings’ rookie winger suffered a broken leg Saturday. He had two points (1 G, 1 A) in his past 13 games. Tyler Toffoli – The Kings’ winger is out indefinitely with mono; he had four points (2 G, 2 a) in his last 11 games. With Pearson and Toffoli out, there is room for Mike Richards, who appeared to be on his way to being a healthy scratch, to stay in the lineup. Mikhail Grabovski – Started Friday night’s game on a line with John Tavares and Kyle Okposo, but then had to leave the game early with a lower-body injury. Josh Bailey returned to that coveted spot in the lineup Saturday at Columbus. Erik Gudbranson – Played a season-high 25:12 for the Panthers, including 6:25 shorthanded, at Calgary Friday. It was his first game this season over 22 minutes and the second-most ice time he’s had in an NHL game. Steve Mason – The Flyers’ goalkeeper left early in Saturday’s loss to Boston with a lower-body injury. Ray Emery, with a career-low .889 save percentage after stopping 10 of 13 shots in relief of Mason, will likely see more action while Mason is out and 33-year-old Rob Zepp has been recalled from the AHL, where he had a .921 save percentage in 21 games. Jimmy Howard – Detroit’s goaltender suffered a lower-body injury against Washington Saturday, giving way to Petr Mrazek less than two minutes into the game. With Jonas Gustavsson already out of action, Mrazek will see most of the action in the Red Wings’ net and Thomas McCollum has been called up from Grand Rapids, where he had a .911 save percentage in 21 games. Brett Ritchie – The Stars rookie played a season-high 19:58 at Colorado Saturday, scoring his third goal in his sixth career NHL game. Sergei Gonchar – Played a season-high 23:58 for Montreal against Pittsburgh Saturday. Frank Corrado – The 2011 fifth-round pick got into his first game of the season for the Canucks Saturday against Calgary. The 21-year-old blueliner had played 18 NHL games over the past two seasons and had eight points (4 G, 4 A) with a plus-3 rating in 21 AHL games this season. Troy Bodie – The 29-year-old tough winger played his first game of the season for the Maple Leafs in Friday’s 5-2 win over Columbus. He had seven points (5 G, 2 A) and 34 penalty minutes, with a minus-2 rating, in 32 AHL games before getting promoted. In Friday’s 2-1 win over Buffalo, Tampa Bay D Matt Carle had a monster possession game (31 shot attempts for, 3 against, 91.2%) against the Sabres. When he was on the ice at 5-on-5 against Sabres defencemen Josh Gorges and Tyler Myers, Carle was a perfect 100% (18 for, 0 against)…Panthers LW Sean Bergenheim had strong possession stats (17 shot attempts for, 3 against, 85.0%) in Friday’s win at Calgary. Bergenheim is a quietly strong possession player, who also has seven points (2 G, 5 A) in the past nine games. Among forwards that have played 100-400 minutes – trying to find quality contributions from complementary players – at 5-on-5 this season: DEPTH CONTRIBUTIONS PLAYER TEAM POS. CORSI% RELATIVE CORSI% Trevor Lewis Los Angeles RW 60.2% +7.1% Tomas Jurco Detroit RW 59.0% +5.3% Patrick Sharp Chicago LW 58.6% +4.9% Stephen Weiss Detroit C 58.2% +3.8% Sean Bergenheim Florida LW 57.6% +7.6% Flyers D Mark Streit delivered strong possession numbers (21 shot attempts for, 3 against, 87.5%) in Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Boston…Red Wings C Stephen Weiss had perfect possession (14 shot attempts for, 0 against, 100.0%), despite starting only one-third of his shifts in the offensive zone against Washington Saturday. Sabres G Michal Neuvirth stopped 45 of 47 shots in a 2-1 loss to Tampa Bay Friday…Canadiens G Carey Price turned aside 35 of 37 shots in a 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh Saturday…Penguins G Marc-Andre Fleury had 27 saves on 28 shots for the win…Predators G Pekka Rinne stopped 36 of 37 shots in a 3-1 win at Minnesota Saturday…Senators G Craig Anderson turned away 31 of 32 shots in a 5-1 win over Arizona Saturday…Capitals G Braden Holtby had 26 saves on 27 shots in a 3-1 win over Detroit Saturday…Rangers G Henrik Lundqvist stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 3-1 win at San Jose Saturday…Blackhawks G Corey Crawford stopped 36 of 37 shots in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Minnesota…Panthers G Al Montoya allowed five goals on 30 shots and Flames G Jonas Hiller surrendered six goals on 35 shots in Florida’s 6-5 win Friday…Coyotes G Mike Smith gave up five goals on 33 shots in Saturday’s 5-1 loss to Ottawa. FIRSTS David Pastrnak – Boston’s rookie right winger scored the first two goals of his career in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Philadelphia. 18-year-old Pastrnak has been impressive early in his career, posting 59.7% Corsi in his first seven games. Teemu Pulkkinen – Injuries opened up room in Detroit for Pulkkinen, a right winger who made his season debut for the Wings against Washington Saturday, registering a team-high eight shot attempts (3 SOG) with spectacular possession numbers (29 shot attempts for, 4 against, 87.9%) in 16:21 of ice time, skating on a line with Riley Sheahan and Drew Miller. Pulkkinen, a fourth-round pick in the 2010 Draft, was tearing up the AHL this season with 39 points (20 G, 19 A), 125 shots on goal and a minus-1 rating in 33 games. Joni Ortio – The 23-year-old, summoned in the wake of Karri Ramo’s injury, recorded his first career shutout, stopping all 36 shots he faced, in a 1-0 win at Vancouver Saturday. Ortio, a sixth-round pick in 2009, had a .916 save percentage in 27 games with Adirondack in the AHL. FLAMES-PANTHERS TRADE Drew Shore – A 6-foot-3 centre, who was a second-round pick in 2009, had been unable to stick in Florida, despite stellar possession stats when given the opportunity. 23-year-old Shore has been productive enough in the AHL (9 G, 21 A, 88 SOG, even in 35 games) this season to warrant an NHL opportunity. After one more NHL game, he will require waivers to be sent back to the AHL, so whenever Calgary does give Shore the opportunity, he should get a solid run of games to prove he deserves to stay in the league. Corban Knight – Originally a fifth-round pick of the Panthers in 2009, Knight didn’t sign with Florida coming out of the University of North Dakota, signing with Calgary as a free agent. Knight had 12 points (8 G, 4 A) and 51 shots on goal, with a minus-1 rating, in 22 AHL games at the time of the trade, and has one goal in nine career NHL games. He’s fourth months older than Shore, but with less pro experience can be moved up and down in the organization with fewer restrictions. FANTASY FOCUS There are three games on the schedule to start the week. Here are three wingers that you might want to consider for your lineup: Jonathan Drouin – The Lightning rookie has just two goals in 33 games, but has assists in each of the past three games, skating on a line with Alex Killorn and (more importantly) Steven Stamkos. Andre Burakovsky – You never know how long it will last, but the Capitals’ rookie winger has been skating with Nicklas Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin on Washington’s top line. Dwight King – The L.A. winger has three goals in the past four games and, with Pearson and Toffoli out, there is more ice time available if King manages to maintain production. Much of the data included comes from www.war-on-ice.com, www.puckalytics.com, www.hockeystats.ca and www.naturalstattrick.com Scott Cullen can be reached at scott.cullen@bellmedia.ca David Krejci Bruins Jersey .com) - Tonight will go a long way in determining the two wild card spots in the Eastern Conference. Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles Kings (3) - Early goal against was on the power play.BRIDGEND -- Bernhard Langer has a seven-stroke cushion to take into the third round of the Senior British Open after shooting a 5-under 66 Friday to add to his opening 65. The German is on 11-under 131 overall at a sunny Royal Porthcawl with Scotlands Colin Montgomerie and South African-based Englishman Chris Williams tied for second on 4-under 138. Montgomerie shot 66 while Williams added a 70 to his opening 68. Spaniard Pedro Linhart (69) was a further shot back in fourth, while Americans Bob Tway (73) and Tom Watson (66) shared fifth on 2-under 140. Watson had a faultless round of 66 with three birdies, an eagle at the 18th and no dropped shots. Langer was beaten in a playoff by Mark Wiebe of the United States in last years championship at Royal Birkdale after blowing a two-stroke lead on the final hole when he failed to get out of a greenside bunker. "It still hurts when I think about it," Langer said. "If you put me in that situation a hundred times, I think I would win 98 or 99." Langer started with a bogey five at the opening hole when he pulled a 4-iron into a bad lie, hit his second over the green and didnt get up and down. He recovered with three straight birdies from the fourth, hitting a sand-wedge to six feet, a 3-iron to seven feet and chipped his third to three feet on the par-five sixth and sank it. Twwo more birdies came at Nos. Tuukka Rask Bruins Jersey. 11 and 12, he saved his par at the 14th with a 15-foot putt, then hit a drive and a 5-iron to 10 feet at the 18th and just missed his eagle attempt. "I played very aggressive and smart today," said Langer, who was champion at Carnoustie in 2010. "I missed a couple of opportunities early on but Im very pleased overall. Playing good golf on a great course is a lot of fun. But you have to be very careful, very smart and hopefully execute properly." Montgomerie hit back from dropping strokes at the first two holes to post six birdies in the next seven, including five on the run from the fifth, for 31 on the first nine holes. He then got two more on the way and just one dropped shot. Despite the impressive round, he wasnt hopeful. "Ive got a massive mountain to climb to catch Bernhard," admitted Montgomerie. Tway, only two behind Langer overnight, got to 5 under with a birdie at the sixth, but then slipped to level par before closing with two birdies. Fred Couples had to settle for a par 71, while Tom Pernice Jr. came back from an opening 78 to bag eight birdies and drop just one shot for 64 and the best round of the tournament so far. Wiebe, playing with Langer, made an early exit after shooting 77 for an 11-over 153 -- some 22 strokes worse than the man he beat last year. NFL Jerseys China cheap jerseys ' ' '

PHILADELPHIA -- Fresh off an inauspicious debut, Matt Barkley could start his first NFL game for the Philadelphia Eagles because hes the only healthy quarterback on the roster. Tuukka Rask Bruins Jersey . Filling in for the injured Nick Foles, Barkley threw three interceptions in the fourth quarter of Sundays 17-3 loss to Dallas. With Michael Vick still recovering from a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the last 2 1/2 games, its uncertain wholl be under centre against the New York Giants this week. "My decision on who our quarterback is, is based on health," coach Chip Kelly said Monday. "Right now I dont know who is healthy and who is not healthy. Until we find out who is healthy, it doesnt help anybody to say that guy our starter. It doesnt help the situation because I dont know when theyre all coming back. Our focus is to play the New York Giants this week. "What is the best way to get us to beat the Giants, depending on who is the healthy quarterback this week." Foles sustained a concussion when he was sacked by George Selvie and Jarius Wynn on the final play of the third quarter. Before that play, he struggled, completing just 11 of 29 for 80 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Foles was coming off an impressive performance in a win at Tampa Bay that earned him NFC Player of the Week honours. He also played well after replacing Vick late in the second quarter of a win at the Giants on Oct. 6. His sparked a quarterback controversy in Philadelphia. Kellys reluctance to commit to giving Vick his starting job when he returned only fueled the talk. Now, its pretty clear Vick will start when hes ready. "I think he was off a little bit," Kelly said of Foles. "His feet werent set on a couple of those throws, and in all instances, we have to do a little better job. There were times when guys were open that we didnt get the ball on him. There were other times when we didnt get off of coverage, and there was a couple of times that we gave up too much leakage pressure, so hes not being able to set his feet." It was the most important start in Foles young career. First place in the NFC East was at stake when the Eagles (3-4) played the Cowboys (4-3). Perhaps the pressure was too much for the second-year pro? "No, I dont think it had anything (to do with it)," Kelly said. "Thats my feeling, but I havent spoken to him about it, but Nick never struck me as the guy that the moment kind of catches him. He came off the bench against the Giants without taking a snap, and led us on a drive right at the end in two-minute (offence) to get a field goal in a critical situation. I saw him play in college, and I dont think any time in college did I ever see Nick get overwhelmed by the moment or whatnot." As for Barkley, he entered in a tough spot. The Eagles were trailing by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter so the defence knew Barkley would be passing every down. "Difficult situation for him to come in," Kelly said. "Im sure hed want those throws back." Vick was inactive against the Cowboys after dressing as the third-string quarterback at Tampa. Tight end James Casey, who couldnt play against the Buccaneers, returned and filled the emergency QB role vs. Dallas. Vicks hamstring injury is more severe than he originally thought, but its possible he could return this week. "Mike did work out before the game and said he feels like hes moving in the right direction," Kelly said. "So it will be interesting to see where he is from the standpoint of coming in and running around a little bit (Tuesday) morning in terms of warm-up with the strength and conditioning staff and how that goes." SAN JOSE, Calif. Jimmy Hayes Jersey . -- The San Jose Sharks have signed free-agent forward John Scott to a one-year, $700,000 contract. The addition of Scott on Wednesday gives the Sharks another enforcer after re-signing Mike Brown to a $2.4 million, two-year contract last month. Scott has two goals and four assists in 236 career games for Minnesota, Chicago, Buffalo and the New York Rangers. He had 125 penalty minutes last year for the Sabres despite getting only 378:16 of ice time. LOS ANGELES -- Jaromir Jagrs second clutch goal in two nights gave the New Jersey Devils a fortunate win after they were held to 15 shots by the Los Angeles Kings. Brian Sutter Blues Jersey . Jagr tied Gordie Howes NHL record of 121 game-winning goals by scoring 2:30 into overtime, and Cory Schneider made 34 saves to lead the Devils over the Kings 2-1 on Thursday. "We were outplayed and outshot. We shouldnt have been in the game," Jagr said. "But Cory was excellent and he kept us in the game -- especially in the first period. We should probably have lost 5-0." Jagr extended his league record for overtime goals to 18. It was his 690th overall, pulling the 41-year-old into a tie for ninth overall with former Penguins teammate Mario Lemieux. "I learned so many things from him. There arent many people lucky to play with the best player in the world," Jagr said. "I tell all the young kids, When you have a chance when you come into the league and you play with the best player in the world, watch him because you can learn a lot. I was pretty lucky to see him at his best." The Devils won in overtime for the second straight night and are 9-4-2 following an 0-4-3 start. They beat Anaheim 4-3 on Wednesday after Jagr scored the tying goal with 61 seconds left in regulation. The Devils made their first visit to Staples Center since June 11, 2012, the night the Kings beat them 6-1 to win the Stanley Cup. Last Friday, the Kings won 2-0 in New Jersey. Jagr received a holding penalty 17 seconds into overtime, but Kings captain Dustin Brown also was sent off for diving on the play -- leaving the teams to skate 3-on-3. "With all respect to Brown, I am not that strong, so I think he acted a little bit," Jagr said. "I grabbed him and held him, but I am not The Terminator." Just 13 seconds after the penalties expired, Jagr got a cross-ice pass in the low slot from Marek Zidlicky and tucked his ninth goal of the season past Ben Scrivens. "I dont know too many other players that would have had the patience to hold it and hold it that extra second. You cant teach that. Thats why hes a Hall of Fame player," Devils coach Peter DeBoer said. "Its amazing what he is doing at his age, with the minutes we are loading him up with and the responsibilities we are asking of him. He played against (Anze) Kopitars line all night. Hes been incredible." The Kings were outshooting the Devils 29-6 when Ryan Carter put a high backhander past Scrivens stick at 5:52 of the third period with defenceman Willie Mitchell screening his goalie. But the Kings pulled even 65 seconds later when Kopitars 20-foot wrist shot banked off Schneiders left arm and Justin Williams tapped in the loose puck. "I thought Ryans goal would be enough," said Schneider, who stopped a breakaway by Trevor Lewis with less than 2 minutes left in the first period. "Unfortunately we gave it right back about a minute later, but we stuck with it. We didnt get down on ourselves." The injury-depleted Kings, playing without Jeff Carter, Kyle Clifford, defenceman Matt Greene and goalie Jonathan Quick, outshot the Devils 27-5 through the first two periods. At that point, New Jerseys defencemen were outshooting the forwards 3-2. "Im happy with the effort, but not the result," Scrivens said. "We generated our fair share of chances, but we ran into a hot goalie. Schneider played a great one tonight." Lewis, still looking for his first goal of the season, stole the puck from Michael Ryder at the Kings blue line and beat him all the way down the ice before Schneider made the save on his knees with 1:53 left in the first. "We definitely got lots of shots and opportunities, but we didnt bear down on them," Kopitar said. "That was the key to their success." The Kings were 0 for 4 on the power play against the leagues least-penalized team. The Devils were 0 for 2 with the man advantage. TSN Hockey Insiders Pierre LeBrun and Bob McKenzie both reported Thursday that there have been ongoing trade discussions between the Oilers and Los Angeles Kings over forward Sam Gagner.SAN DIEGO -- Padres manager Bud Black had talked to Tyson Ross once or twice that it was getting to be time that the lanky right-hander threw his first career shutout. In his 55th career start, Ross got it, in dominating fashion. Ross threw a three-hitter for his first career shutout, struck out nine and walked none to help San Diego beat the Cincinnati Reds 3-0 Wednesday for its first series sweep since September. Ross got all the support he needed when Rene Rivera hit a three-run single off big league ERA leader Johnny Cueto in the first inning. "Its special," said the 27-year-old Ross, whos in his second season with San Diego. "Its the first time Ive been able to finish. A couple of games Ive gone eight innings and kind of ran out of gas but tonight I had enough in the tank and was able to finish." Ross (7- was dominating. He retired the first 11 batters before Todd Frazier singled to left. Frazier had two of the Reds three hits. Only Reds batter reached second, when Brayan Pena doubled with one out in the eighth. Ross then retired the side. "I think that he really smelled the finish line, which was good," Black said. "Hes been close a couple of times. He was there today. We talked just briefly after the eighth inning. There was no doubt in my mind he was going to go back out there and put up a zero. "Its a tremendous feather in his cap," said Black, a lefty who had 12 shutouts in 296 career big league starts. "You do it once, you can do it many more times. Good for him." Ross said getting the complete game was due to "being efficient early. I had a lot of ground balls, a lot of outs in the first three pitches to hitters. I kept the pitch count low early and that allowed me to finish it off later." Frazier said Ross "had a pretty good slider. I think thats his best pitch. He kept most of us off-balance. We hit the ball hard sometimes. A couple of guys squared some up. To me, he just made a couple of mistakes. A good pitcher, when he makes mistakes, you have to take care of the business." The Reds lost the last three games on 10-game trip after winning six of seven, including a four-game sweep of the NL West-leading San Francisco Giants before coming to San Diego. &"A frustrating team in general in that we came in playing really well and come out of it losing three straight," manager Bryan Price said. Vladimir Tarasenko Jersey. . "We had a chance to make up some ground on Milwaukee and St. Louis and we werent able to take advantage of it." The Padres beat the Reds 1-0 Monday despite getting one hit, and then had a season-high 16 hits in an 8-2 victory Tuesday night. The Padres, who tied their season high with their fourth straight win, hadnt swept a series since Sept. 6-8 against Colorado. With the bases loaded and two outs in the first, Rivera hit a blooper to the gap that hit off the heel of the glove of diving centre fielder Billy Hamilton and rolled away to give San Diego a 3-0 lead. San Diego appeared to take a 4-0 lead on Seth Smiths two-out double in the fourth, but the Reds appealed that Irving Falu missed third base. The umpires agreed, calling Falu out to end the inning. San Diego manager Bud Black argued, but the call was upheld on appeal. Ross had received only one run of support in his previous five starts, and he knocked in that run in his last start, a 2-1 loss to Arizona. Ross was 0-4 in his last five starts. Cueto (8-6) came in with the best ERA in the majors, 1.88. It rose to 1.99. He allowed three runs and seven hits in seven innings, struck out eight and walked three. TORONTO -- Even the pinch-hit return of Jose Bautista could not help the Toronto Blue Jays. Patrick Marleau Jersey . The all-star right-fielder appeared in his first game in a week, pinch hitting in the sixth inning but grounding in to a force out on Sunday as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Blue Jays 4-0, Torontos third loss in a row. "Hopefully, Bautistas back in here the next couple of games to give us kind of a jolt in the lineup," said Blue Jays left-hander Mark Buehrle who took the loss despite holding the White Sox to two runs in eight innings. Chicago got seven strong innings from left-hander Jose Quintana (5-7) and a home run and a double from right-fielder Moises Sierra, who started the season with Toronto. Bautista, who did not play in at all the in the previous six games because of a mild left hamstring strain, hopes that he will be able to return full-time by Tuesday when the Blue Jays next play. "Everybody knows I cant go out on the field and not be 100 per cent," Bautista said before the game after testing the leg by running. "Hopefully by Tuesday I feel better and I can be in the outfield. If not I can DH the whole game and play the day after." The return of the right-fielder cannot come soon enough. The Blue Jays finished with a 12-15 record in June after winning the first five games of the month. They lead the American League East despite losing nine of their past 13 games. The Blue Jays won only the opener of the four-game series against the White Sox (39-44) who are fourth in the American League Central. Besides Bautistas potent right-handed bat, Toronto (45-39) is also without Brett Lawrie who is on the disabled list with a broken right index finger. "Theyre a big part of it, no question about that," said Blue Jays manager John Gibbons . "Really its been a couple of weeks weve been cold, regardless. We had some games in there we put some runs up. Overall, since our big streak (21-9 in May), weve cooled off quite a bit there. We need to get going. Today was just kind of flat, one of those dead days. "Buehrle pitched good enough to win, he really did. He did what he always does. We got zero going and its frustrating." Torontos hitters are frustrated with the scoring drought as well. "It is hard because you never know whos going to be in the lineup," said Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes who had a double and a single on Sunday. "Theres a lot of different people every single day, coming up from the minor leagues and stuff. People need to step it up. If we want to continue to be in first place we need to play better baseball." Quintana held the Blue Jays to three hits and two walks while striking out seven. Hes won back-to-back starts. Buehrle (10-5), who has not won since June 1, lost for the fourth time in his past five starts. He allowed six hits, two walks and two runs while striking out five against in his second career start against his former team. White Sox designated hitter Jose Abreu extended his hit streak to 14 games with an RBI single in the third inning. He drove in second baseman Gordon Beckham who hit a two-out double. Sierra hit his second homer of the season with one out in the fourth to put the White Sox into a 2-0 lead. Chicago claimed Sierra off waivers from the Blue Jays on May 3. Buehrle knows Sierra will chase pitches out of the strike zone from watching him Toronto but lamented his change-up down the middle of the plate. "I pretty much teed one up for him and thats what hes supposed to do with it," Buehrle said. The Blue Jays did not have as many as two runners on base in an inning until the sixth when Reyes doubled with one out and designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion walked with two out. That brought out Bautista, who had not played since June 22, to bat for catcher Dioner Navarro. Reyes took third on a wild pitch as Bautista worked the count to 3-2 on Quintana. But he hit a ground ball to shortstop and Encarnacion was forced out at second to end the inning. "I tried to keep the ball down with him," Quintana said. "Behind in the count 2-0, I wanted to keep the ball away. After Im behind in the count, I just tried to get the round ball." The White Sox added two runs in the ninth against right-hander Sergio Santos on a single by catcher Tyler Flowers. It scored first baseman Paul Konerko who walked with one out and took third on Sierras double. Left-hander Eric Surkamp pitched the eighth and right-hander Jake Petricka took over for the ninth. NOTES: Attendance at Rogers Centre was 33,177. a.Left-handed reliever Brett Cecil (groin), who is on the disabled list, will start his minor-league rehabilitation assignment with triple-A Buffalo on Monday. aBautista injured the hamstring while beating out a bunt on June 22 at Cincinnati. aLeft-fielder Melky Cabrera also was not in the lineup with Darin Mastroianni starting in his place. Cabrera, who needed a day off and has not hit Quintana well in his career, pinch hit unsuccessfully in the eighth against Surkamp. aThe Blue Jays have Monday off before concluding their home stand with two afternoon games against the Milwaukee Brewers with right-hander Drew Hutchison (5-6, 4.00) facing right-hander Marco Estrada (7-4, 5.06 ERA) on Tuesday. CORK, Ireland -- Mikko Ilonen of Finland birdied the last hole to stay on top of the Irish Open leaderboard after the third round on Saturday. Michael Raffl Flyers Jersey . Ilonen, who has led from the outset, carded a 2-under-par 69 to move to a 12-under total at Fota Island. The leader by two shots overnight, Ilonen will take a one-shot lead into the final round over Danny Willett of England, who eclipsed Ilonens own course record by a shot with an 8-under 63 that also included a hole-in-one at the seventh. One shot further back on 10 under was crowd favourite Graeme McDowell, who birdied two of his closing three holes in a score of 69. The Northern Irishman was not only targeting a first victory this year but also a maiden Irish Open victory. "Its been fun to come here this week after the pressures of last weeks U.S. Open and just let off some steam and relax, and enjoy my golf again, and also enjoy the odd pint of Guinness in the evenings," McDowell said. "I will now try and give the crowds what they want tomorrow, and thats an Irish winner, but then there is a lot of names up on the leaderboard who will have issues with that. "Winning the Irish Open is well up my leaderboard as far as wish lists of golf tournaments I would like to win, and to win would do many things like kick start my season and boost my Ryder Cup chances." He noted an Irish winner would also cap a good week for Irish golf, with Royal Portrush added to the British Open rotation, and Rory McIlroy committing to representing Ireland at the 2016 Olympics. Ilonen confessed he wore an emerald-colored shirt to try and win over the large Irish crowds. The Finn could have easily finished two clear when his attempted eagle chip shot at 18 lipped out, leaving a three-footer for his birdie. "I decided to wear a green shirt today, and the fans were really pleased, but then I knew my course record wouldnt last long and I called that," Ilonen said. "But I feel really comfortable out there, and really pleased to birdie 18, and get back the lead." Willett recorded his second hole-in-one of the year, after one at the China Open. "It was a perfect number, wind out of the left with an 8-iron, kind of saying go in and not really quite sure, but it slam-dunked in the hole," Willett said after his second 63 of the year. Pittsburgh visited the Capitals on Monday and Chris Kunitz potted a pair of goals, including the go-ahead marker in the second period, to help the Penguins continue their recent dominance of Washington with a 3-2 victory at Verizon Center. Sidney Crosby assisted on both of Kunitzs scores and tallied one of his own in Pittsburghs seventh consecutive win over the Capitals, while Jeff Zatkoff outperformed counterpart Jaroslav Halak with a 31-save performance between the pipes. "At the end of it, the goalie has to make the big save and we had that all night," said Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi of Zatkoff. Halak, making his second start for Washington since being acquired from Buffalo at last weeks trade deadline, stopped just 17-of-20 shots. Eric Fehr and Nicklas Backstrom accounted for Washingtons goals in the loss, the Capitals fourth in five games. "I think we have to look at the positives," Fehr said after Mondays game. "We had some time where we outplayed them and we have to try to do that again tomorrow." Pittsburgh pushed its lead atop the Metropolitan Division to 16 points over the New York Rangers. The Blue Jackets and Red Wings are facing each other tonight in Columbus. Washington twice rallied from one-goal deficits to knot the score at 2-2 midway through the second period on Monday, but Kunitz struck for the second time of the night with 7:20 left in the middle session to put the Penguins in front to stay. The goal came on a rush up the ice led by Crosby, who dropped the puck back to Lee Stempniak for a shot that Halak kicked away. Kunitz raced in down the left side while uncovered, however, to deposit the rebound into an opening. Zatkoff made the lead stand with a seven-save third period. Washington had an opportunity to tie after the Penguins were called for too many men on the ice with 2:17 left, but never got a shot on goal during the advantage. "I thought we did a good job just sitting back and not giving them passing lanes and making them shoot themselves," said Scuderi. "Its way easier for the defense and goalie if you can just keep the puck on one half of the ice and not have to be going side-to-side. I guess I thought everyone did a good job with that." The Pens own a stellar 23-4-2 record on home ice this season, but have lost two straight at CONSOL Energy Center. Washington has lost two straight on the road and is just 12-15-5 as the away team in 2013-14. NFL Jerseys China cheap jerseys ' ' '

IRVING, Texas -- David Duval gets only limited chances on the PGA Tour these days, much different than 15 years ago when he was the No. Kyle Okposo Sabres Jersey . 1 player in the world. So Duval gutted it out Thursday at the Byron Nelson Championship despite the pain from a muscle issue in his right elbow, a day after his stepson had to drive him because he couldnt even use that arm. "Im just glad I chose to tee off today because I was seriously considering not," said Duval, who almost withdrew about a half-hour before his round. Duval, now 42 years old and ranked 890th in the world, birdied his last three holes -- Nos. 7-9 -- after pitching in from 57 feet for another birdie at the fifth hole. He shot 4-under 66, a stroke behind leader Peter Hanson and tied with Marc Leishman and Tim Wilkinson. After a bogey on his 12th hole, the 528-yard third hole, Duval was even par for his round. He had the long pitch on No. 5, and a similar shot from 43 feet at the par-5 seventh hole started his closing birdie stretch. He sank putts of 3 1/2 and 17 feet to finish. "Im tickled pink it feels as good as it does right now," Duval said. "Im not getting to play a whole lot right now and it would have been a hard thing to swallow not to be able to tee off." Duvals arm started bothering him Tuesday when he hit 20 or 30 balls after getting to North Texas, and he managed to play only six holes after having a trainer work on his arm. He had an injection that night and hit only 20 or 30 more balls Wednesday before he couldnt even move his arm. He got more treatment before teeing off Thursday. As a 13-time winner on the PGA Tour, his last victory in the 2001 British Open, Duval has past champion status. But past champions are 32nd in the line of 36 categories to fill open spots in tournament fields. "A little disadvantage when you dont get to play consistently," he said. "But I have the utmost confidence in what Im trying to do right now, and I feel like I can succeed even with that sporadic schedule." Martin Kaymer, The Players Championship winner Sunday, was among eight players at 67. When Duval finished his round, he had a share of the lead -- until Hanson sank a 6-foot putt at No. 18 for his only back-nine birdie. Duval hasnt led the end of any round on the PGA Tour since the fourth of five rounds at Las Vegas in 2002. This is his only his eighth tournament this season, matching last years total. Hanson made the turn at 5 under after shooting 30 on the front side. The Swede couldnt keep up the pace on the back nine at TPC Four Seasons that he hadnt played before Thursday because of travel issues and a sore back. "I still have quite a bit of pain, but I really wanted to play this week," Hanson said. "Heading over to Europe the next two weeks. We have a big tournament, Wentworth, and then my national open back in Sweden the week after that. This is a bit of a test." Leishman was the only of the top four who played in the morning, and had a tap-in birdie putt at the par-3 second hole. His only bogey, at the 431-yard fourth hole after missing the green, was sandwiched by a pair of birdies. "It was fairly stress-free for the most part," the Australian said after hitting 13 of 14 fairways and 16 greens in regulation. It was Leishmans best-scoring round since opening with a 66 at Torrey Pines in January when he was the runner-up with his second consecutive top-five finish. In eight tournaments since, he missed three cuts and his only finish in the top 30 was his tie for 23th at The Players Championship. Jordan Spieth had to birdie two of his last three holes for an even-par 70 at the course where he made the cut as an amateur at ages 16 and 17. Spieth, now 20 and the eighth-ranked player in the world, had a double-bogey 6 after driving into the water at No. 3, his 12th hole. With a large gallery following him only four days after he was in the final group with Kaymer at The Players, the Masters runner-up from Dallas hit only four of 14 fairways and 10 of 18 greens in regulation. INDIANAPOLIS -- The Eastern Conferences top team just got more imposing. Bernie Parent Jersey . On Saturday, the Pacers added size and scoring punch to their roster by signing mercurial free agent centre Andrew Bynum for the rest of the season. Team officials did not release additional details about the contract and said Bynum was expected to join the team sometime next week. "We are obviously happy to have him join our team," Larry Bird said in a statement issued by the team less than 12 hours before Indiana hosted Brooklyn on Saturday night. "He gives us added size, he is a skilled big man and he has championship experience. With the minutes he gets, he should be a valuable addition." Adding a guy with Bynums mercurial reputation to a locker room as selfless as the Pacers is definitely a gamble, though likely a low-risk one since Bird, the Pacers president of basketball operations, has made it clear the Pacers would not pay the NBAs luxury tax and Indiana had an open spot on its roster. But if Bynum performs as he did in helping the Lakers win back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010, it could create even more lineup mismatches against two-time defending champion Miami in the East. Indiana (35-10) entered Saturday with a three-game lead over the Heat in the chase for home-court advantage and has made no secret of its desire to get the top seed in its quest to win the teams first NBA crown. Bynum will give the Pacers another big body off the bench, backing up All-Star centre Roy Hibbert. And his offensive skills give Indiana another scorer to go with the leagues best defence. Miami, which struggled against Indianas size during last seasons Eastern Conference finals, tried to close the gap by signing the oft-injured former No. 1 overall pick Greg Oden, an Indianapolis native, last summer. Oden has played sparingly this season, though he has been improving. Saturdays move could give the Pacers an even bigger advantage -- if the 7-foot-1, 285-pound centre returns to his previous form. The move also prevents the Heat from signing Bynum as had been widely speculated. But Bynum is far from a sure thing. After the Lakers traded Bynum to Philadelphia in 2012, he missed the entire season because of knee injuries. This season, after signing with Cleveland as a free agent, he played in only 24 games before he was suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. He was eventually dealt to Chicago, which quickly released Bynum so it didnt have to guarantee the remaining $6 million owed to him this season. Since then, Bynum has been looking for a landing spot and finally settled on Indiana. "It really wasnt a hard decision, I think its the right fit for me and, in all honesty, I think weve got the best chance of winning," Bynum said in a statement. "It will be great to back up Roy and Ill do whatever I can to help this team." With Cleveland, he averaged 8.4 points and 5.3 rebounds. He has career averages of 11.5 points per game and 7.7 rebounds, and his best season came in 2011-12 when he averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds with the Lakers. Eric Lindros Jersey . LONDON -- Chelsea has agreed to sell David Luiz to French champion Paris Saint-Germain in a deal that will reportedly make the Brazil international the worlds most expensive defender. Alexander Mogilny Canucks Jersey . Chelsea and PSG both announced the deal in separate statements late Friday, but did not disclose financial details. The move cannot be completed until the start of the transfer window on June 10, but PSG said all sides wanted to reach an agreement "as soon as possible" so that Luiz can "prepare for and play in the World Cup in his home country in the best possible conditions." Chelsea said the Brazil international has passed a medical examination but still needs to finalize the personal terms of his contract with PSG. British media reported that the transfer fee would reach between 40 million pounds ($67 million) and 50 million pounds ($84 million) depending on incentives, which would be a record for a defender. PSG paid a reported 42 million euros in 2012 for Thiago Silva, who could now link up with his Brazil teammate in central defence. Luizs arrival will also make up for the departure of Alex, another Brazil defender bought from Chelsea in 2012, who is out of contract. Luiz has been one of the Premier Leagues top defenders and free-kick takers over the past few seasons, and can also play as a defensive midfielder. He is expected to start for Brazil at this summers World Cup. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Joe Torre, Tommy Lasorda and Jim Leyland were among the many friends and family members at Tropicana Field on Saturday to celebrate the life of longtime baseball man Don Zimmer. The tribute was held before the Tampa Bay Rays played Seattle. Zimmer, a senior adviser for the Rays, died Wednesday at 83 in a hospital in nearby Dunedin. Both teams wore Zimmers No. 23 Brooklyn Dodgers jersey as they lined up along the foul lines. Fans stood and cheered at the end of a video tribute. There is no funeral or other memorial service planned. More than 20 family members, including Zimmers wife "Soot" -- they were married at home plate during a minor league game in 1951 -- also attended. "A great life," Soot Zimmer said. "No regrets." Son Tom Zimmer, a scout with the San Francisco Giants, caught the ceremonial first pitch thrown by granddaughter Whitney Goldstein. Torre says Zimmer was "one of a kind" and "an institution." Zimmer was Torres bench coach for four World Series championships with the Yankees. "His loss creates a void in my life," Torre said. "I hired a coach who became a family member, basically. I think baseball is just going to miss the presence of him. He was a big teddy bear, ttheres no question about it. Alexander Mogilny Jersey. " Zimmer spent 66 years in baseball as a player, manager, coach and executive. "I just hope that people remember what a great baseball man this guy was," Leyland said. "He was a character, but he wasnt somebody that you laughed at when you understood how much this guy knew about baseball. His passion for the game and his passion for people." "Its kind of an ironic day," he said. "Todays the day of the Belmont, as you know, and everybody knows how he liked horses. Family came first, baseball second, horses third. So, family is here today, were going to have a ballgame and the Belmont is today." Zimmer convinced Torre not to make ties mandatory when the Yankees travelled. Torre, who wore a tie Saturday with horses on it, removed it when the subject came up during the ceremony. Yankees star Derek Jeter made a video statement. So did Yankees manager Joe Girardi, whose first big league manager was Zimmer with the Chicago Cubs. "He made an impact like no else has," Texas Rangers senior adviser Tom Giordano said. The ceremony ended with "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" played on a bagpipe. "Perfect," Tom Zimmer said. "Emotional." NFL Jerseys China cheap jerseys ' ' '

United on Saturday night. New England (7-3-2) is now unbeaten in seven matches (6-0-1), having outscored its foes 19-6 during that span. D.C. United (5-4-3) had its three-match (2-0-1) unbeaten streak snapped as New England avenged a 2-0 loss in the nations capital on April 5. D.C. United leading scorer Fabian Espindola scored his sixth goal of the season in the 73rd minute to make it 1-1. The goal was the first allowed by the Revolution at home. Fagundez extended his scoring streak to three matches, getting the winner in the 77th minute on a cross from the right side by Teal Bunbury. Mullins scored his fourth goal in four matches in the 55th minute. D.C. United played the final eight minutes of the match short-handed after forward Eddie Johnson received a red card. The quest begins with what is supposed to be an easy one, although Germany has traditionally been a stubborn opponent to Canadian teams at international tournaments. "Youve got to expect theyll be structured and hard working," coach Brent Sutter said Wednesday after a one-hour skate at the cosy Isstadion, where they face the Germans on Thursday. "Theyll be ready to play. "That game is the biggest game to date we have. It doesnt matter our opponent, its how we have to play. Lets make sure were responsible." You can watch all the action live on TSN beginning at 7am et/4am pt. Pre-tournament exhibition games against Finland, Sweden and Switzerland showed that while the Canadian squad — led by Halifax Mooseheads star Jonathan Drouin — will be among the better teams in the 10-team event, it doesnt have the speed and offensive flash of some of the 15 Canadian teams that won gold in the past. The host team Sweden, with at least 10 players returning from a squad that won silver last year in Ufa, Russia, looks like the team to beat, especially after the 3-0 beating they put on Canada in an exhibition game last week. The Swedes are in the opposite first-round group and will play at the newer, much larger Malmo Arena. Canada has only three players back from the 2013 tournament. They include Drouin, Jake Paterson (who didnt dress for any games in Ufa as the third goalie), and defenceman Griffin Reinhart, who is suspended for the first three games this year from a slashing incident in last years semifinals. The loss in Ufa ended Canadas 14-year run of top-three finishes at the tournament officially called the IIHF world under-20 championship. This years squad is younger than most, and should be a showcase for three players not even eligible to be drafted by the NHL yet. First among them is Connor McDavid, the dazzling 16-year-old playmaker and scoring star of the Erie Otters who will not be eligible for the draft until 2015. There is also forward Sam Reinhart of the Kootenay Ice, the younger brother of Griffin Reinhart, along with big defenceman Aaron Ekblad of the Barrie Colts. They may go one-two in the 2014 draft. Sutter has McDavid and Reinhart on the wings with centre Bo Horvat, an imposing Vancouver Canucks prospect from the London Knights. They were the only line to stay together through the teams three pre-tournament games. Reinhart turned 18 in November and is not a true "underage" junior, and Sutter uses him as he would a seasoned veteran. In exhibition play, he played the power play and on the penalty kill. In one instance when Canada was short-handed two men, he was the lone forward on the ice. "Hes an all-purpose player," said Sutter. "He just knows how to play the game. "Hes an intelligent player and his paying attention to details in all sorts of situations is very high. As a coach, youre very comfortable playing him in whatever situation that occurs." Reinhart is used to the ice time with Kootenay and was a captain on Canadian under-18 teams, so he likes the responsibility Sutter has given him. "It gives you confidence for opening night," he said. "We took some games to find ouur mentality and what well bring to the first one. Tony Romo Jersey. "We feel confident in our game right now. The focus has turned onto the first game against Germany and were looking forward to it." The exhibition games were a test for Drouin, the third overall pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning last June. Sutter blasted him for a weak showing against Sweden, even though it was Drouins first game since suffering a concussion in a league game with Halifax on Dec. 8. He was moved from left wing to centre for the final exhibition against the Swiss and played better. "Brent said some stuff," said Drouin, who will likely centre big winger Anthony Mantha and the defensively solid Taylor Leier of the Portland Winterhawks. "I know I played bad and didnt help the team. "I had to step up my game against the Swiss and I think I did. I feel better. The first game was a little rough. Its been three weeks (since he played) and its different from major junior. Its way more fast, but I think the second game was better." Another question to be settled was in goal, and Sutter believes hes found his man in Paterson of the Saginaw Spirit, who will start against Germany. The Mooseheads Zach Fucale will start the tournament as the backup, but Sutter expects both will see action in the tournament. Other lines are likely to have Nic Petan of Portland between Curtis Lazar of the Edmonton Oil Kings and Kerby Rychel of the Gueph Storm; and captain Scott Laughton of the Oshawa Generals with Frederik Gauthier of the Rimouski Oceanic and Josh Anderson of the Knights. Charles Hudon of the Chicoutimi Sagueneens may slot in the Drouin line. The defence will likely be rearranged when Griffin Reinhart returns Dec. 31 against the Americans. Sutter has been trying various combinations for a group that includes Ekblad, Matt Dumba of the Minnesota Wild, Chris Bigras of the Owen Sound Attack, McDavids Erie teammate Adam Pelech, Josh Morrissey of the Prince Albert Raiders and Derrick Pouliot of Portland. Without a high-powered attack, there has been much talk of playing "Boston Bruins hockey," which despite popular perception does not mean hammering everyone who moves, but rather working the puck up the ice in tight, five-man units and playing a controlled two-way game. "It is the makeup of our team," said Sutter, who won gold with a similar group in 2006. "We have to support each other. "We cant be a spread-out team thats playing one zone and two zones ahead. We have to be coming out of zones together and using each other. When one guy has the puck, the other four have to be options and be available for plays. And we have to be smart when were hitting the red line. We cant have turnovers." The game against Germany is a chance to see flashy forward Leon Draisaitl, who is Morrisseys teammate in Prince Albert. Draisaitl is a projected top-10 pick in 2014. They played against one another at the under-18 championship, and Morrissey said they have been joking about meeting again at the world juniors. "Hes a really skilled player," the Calgary native said. "Weve become almost best friends on our team. "Hes got phenomenal vision. I think he plays like (Anze) Kopitar. He likes (Pavel) Datsyuk a lot. All I can say is hes an unreal player." NFL Jerseys China cheap jerseys ' ' '

PHOENIX - NFL Players Association President Eric Winston says the leagues new personal conduct policy violates the CBA in several ways and were going to be grieving this as far as we can. Jay Bromley Giants Jersey .The union filed a grievance against the NFL last week over changes to the policy. NFL owners unanimously approved the changes in December. We have an agreement with the league and they have an agreement with us, Winston said. Were going to hold them to that agreement. Many aspects of this policy fall outside of the CBA and were going to continue fighting it going forward. The union and the league have been at odds over the personal conduct policy since both groups began navigating the Ray Rice domestic violence case and later Adrian Petersons child abuse case. After dealing with both issues, a more extensive list of prohibited conduct will be included in the policy, as well as specific criteria for paid leave for anyone charged with a violent crime.A suspension of six games without pay for violations involving assault, sexual assault, battery, domestic violence, child abuse and other forms of family violence will be in effect, but with consideration given to mitigating or aggravating circumstances. The leagues revised conduct policy was the product of a tremendous amount of analysis and work and is based on input from a broad and diverse group of experts within and outside of football, including current players, former players, and the NFL Players Association, the league said in a statement last week.We and the public firmly believe that all NFL personnel should be held accountable to a stronger, more effective conduct policy. Clearly, the union does not share that belief.Other items from the NFLPAs news conference on Thursday:— NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith said the union will issue its own salary cap projections for the first time. They want to counter inaccurate NFL projections. The projections are expected to be released before the scouting combine next month.— Smith said no players on the New England Patriots were interviewed regarding the deflated footballs incident because the league wanted to wait until after the Super Bowl. He said each player will have a union lawyer with them.— Winston said the union will discuss agent regulation at its meeting in March. Glendale, AZ (SportsNetwork. James Develin Patriots Jersey .com) - Drew Stanton threw touchdown passes to Michael Floyd on the first two drives of the game and the Arizona Cardinals held on to beat the Detroit Lions 14-6 on Sunday. Stanton stepped in again for Carson Palmer, who was lost for the season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee last week. His touchdown throws of 42 and 12 yards to Floyd in the first nine minutes of the game stood up as the NFL-leading Cardinals (9-1) pushed their winning streak to six, their longest since 1977. Its the first time the franchise won nine of its first 10 games since the Chicago Cardinals went 11-1 in 1948. Matt Prater kicked two field goals for the Lions (7-3), who had a four-game winning streak snapped -- their longest since a 5-0 start to the 2011 season. A key play came early in the fourth quarter when a bizarre 49-yard punt return by Detroits Jeremy Ross was called back after Arizona successfully challenged that Justin Bethel had downed the ball at the 1-yard line. Bethel, after racing back to keep the punt out of the end zone, snagged it in front of the goal line and threw it back into play, where Ross caught it and returned it past midfield. The Lions failed to convert a 4th-and-2 from the Arizona 47 on the drive and then punted on their last possession with under three minutes left. Arizona picked up one first down on Stantons 11-yard pass to Larry Fitzgerald and kneeled out the remaining time, improving to 6-0 at home. Stanton was 21-of-32 passing for 306 yards and threw two interceptions in his career-high fourth start of the season. He completed passes to 10 different receivers. Detroits Matthew Stafford threw for just 183 yards with an interception, but set an NFL passing record during the game. He became the quickest quarterback to reach 20,000 yards, doing it in 71 games -- three fewer than Hall-of-Famer Dan Marino needed for the Miami Dolphins in the 1980s. Calvin Johnson had five catches for 59 yards in his second game back from an ankle injury. Floyd caught Stantons 42-yard touchdown pass in the front right corner of the end zone 2:58 into the game despite pass interference from cornerback Cassius Vaughn. Robert Hughes 49-yard reception helped set up Floyds 12-yard touchdown catch to give the Cardinals a 14-0 lead less than nine minutes into the game. Prater kicked a 50-yard field goal at the other end for Detroits first points and the Lions intercepted Stanton twice in the second quarter. Josh Bynes pick led to a punt, but Vaughn returned his 25 yards to help set up Praters 28-yard field goal with 25 seconds remaining in the first half to get the Lions within 14-6. Game Notes The 31-year-old Fitzgerald had two grabs for 33 yards and became the youngest receiver to reach 12,000 career yards behind Randy Moss ... Andre Ellington had 19 carries for 42 yards for the Cardinals, who go on the road to face division foe Seattle next week ... The Lions play New England on the road next week ... The Toronto Maple Leafs were holding a news conference, so they got curious. It didnt take long for them to find out via social media that coach Randy Carlyle was coming back — with a two-year extension — and assistants Greg Cronin, Scott Gordon and Dave Farrish were being let go. "I wasnt too sure how to react," Rielly said. "I personally like Randy, I think hes a great coach. I think we have a pretty good relationship. "I didnt really know what was going to happen with him either here or if hes gone and then obviously all the other coaches. So you just have to keep an open mind about it. Its obviously too bad that we dont have Crow, Gordo and Dave." Along with goaltender James Reimer, a restricted free agent who figures to be traded rather than return as Jonathan Berniers backup, the Leafs players here have their own problems to worry about right now. Theyre playing for Team Canada, which allows them to focus on the next game, the next practice rather than the machinations of what are happening back home. Still, Thursdays announcement affects them in a significant way. Reports dating to the trade deadline have mentioned Kadri as a player the Leafs would like to trade, and keeping the Dave Nonis-Carlyle regime in place under new president Brendan Shanahan only sparked more. Kadri isnt one to say hes worried about trade rumours, and the 23-year-old cenntre also wasnt surprised that Carlyle was coming back. David Andrews Patriots Jersey. "Not really. Randys a good coach," he said. "I think the players got to be a little better and a little more prepared. "With what happened last year, its an eye-opener, especially for the young group we had, and Im sure its not going to happen again." Leafs fans had to figure losing 12 of the final 14 games would prompt changes. Shanahan was brought in, and it wouldnt have been the least bit shocking for Carlyle to take the significant brunt of the blame. Instead, by Nonis saying he and the front office still saw Carlyle as the right man to lead the Leafs, the message seems to be the blame is on the players. Kadri didnt necessarily see the moves as a mandate of that. "Were a team. Everyone plays for the team. You stick together, you win as a team, you lose on a team," he said, echoing a line Carlyle has used many times. "I dont think its on a specific group of people or a specific person. I think we all got to be better, including the players." The players who start the 2014-15 NHL season are likely to be much different from those who ended this disappointing regular season. Along with Kadri, defenceman Jake Gardiner has been the other big name mentioned in reports of whom the Leafs could trade this summer. Gardiner is at the world championships playing for the United States, but Rielly said Saturday he hadnt talked to his Leafs roommate about the news. No doubt itll be a major topic of conversation once they cross paths here. NFL Jerseys China cheap jerseys ' ' '

Each week, well take a look at some top performers from the CFL, with an eye to looking ahead to some matchups that could be favourable for TSN Fantasy Football, CFL Edition, presented by Joseph Abboud. Al Macinnis Jersey . Here are some of the best from Week 12 and players to watch for Week 13: TOP PERFORMERS Jon Cornish, RB, Calgary (209 YDS, 2 TD, 15 touches vs. Toronto) - Making up for time lost due to an early-season concussion, Cornish ranks third in the league with 587 rushing yards and hes only played five games! Ricky Ray, QB, Toronto (33-for-38, 338 YDS, 4 TD, 1 INT at Calgary) - Leading the league with 20 touchdown passes and ranking second in QB rating and passing yards, Ray had a spectacular game against Calgary, especially early, before the Stampeders comeback took over. Andrew Harris, RB, B.C. (140 YDS, 1 TD, 18 touches vs. Winnipeg) - One of the games premier all-purpose backs, Harris has struggled through some injuries, but broke through against the Bombers, running for more than 100 yards for the second time this season. Zach Collaros, QB, Hamilton (29-for-36, 287 YDS, 2 TD, 1 INT, 49 rush YDS vs. Saskatchewan) - Since returning from injury, Collaros has been outstanding, throwing for 942 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions in three games giving the TiCats a much more formidable attack. PLAYERS TO WATCH IN WEEK 13 Stefan Logan, RB, B.C. - His role is diminished with the return of Andrew Harris, but Logan is a threat when Harris needs a break. He put up 60 yards on 11 carries against Winnipeg last week; not bad for a second-stringer. Jason Barnes, SB, Toronto - The veteran receiver had six catches for 116 yards and a touchdown at Calgary last week and as long as Ricky Ray is chucking it, there is value to be found in the Argonauts receiving corps. Maurice Price, WR Calgary - With Drew Tate filling in for injured QB Bo Levi Mitchell, and other injuries in the Calgary receiving corps, there is an opportunity for Price, who had a season-high five catches against Toronto last week. MILWAUKEE -- Tim Duncan had 21 points and 16 rebounds while playing just 24 minutes and Tony Parker added 15 points in the San Antonio Spurs 109-77 rout of the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. Jaelen Strong Texans Jersey . San Antonio had lost three of its last six games after starting the season 13-1, but dominated from the opening tip, scoring the first nine points. An 8-0 run extended the Spurs lead to 27-10. The Bucks (5-17) trailed 32-16 after one quarter. The Spurs held a 17-4 rebounding advantage in the opening period, when the Bucks managed just one defensive rebound. The Bucks pulled within 41-30 in the second quarter, but the Spurs responded with a 10-0 run. The Spurs, led 63-40 at the half and extended it to 92-54 entering the final period. Rookie guard Nate Wolters led the Bucks with a season-high 18 points. Lamar Miller Texans Jersey .Y. - OK, it is done. Jadeveon Clowney Texans Jersey . On Wednesday night, they showed that stellar defence and a little small ball can get the job done too. With pinch-runner Kevin Pillar aboard after Dioner Navarro opened the bottom of the ninth with a single, Anthony Gose dropped down an excellent bunt along the first-base line. http://www.nfltexansteamstore.com/authentic-vince-wilfork-texans-jersey/ . Price also posted the longest shutout sequence since 1960 at 164:19 minutes. He stopped a combined 55 shots in Canadas final two games and 70 of 71 shots in Canadas three elimination games, allowing only a breakaway goal to Lauris Darzins of Latvia. For his efforts, Price was named best goalkeeper by the tournament directorate. Prices outstanding play is marred only by the extremely strong defensive play of Canadas top six defencemen; Shea Weber, Duncan Keith, Drew Doughty, Marc-Edouard Vlasic, Alex Pietrangelo and Jay Bouwmeester.(SportsNetwork.com) - In his more reflective moments you can bet Phil Emery looks in the mirror and realizes that he made a mistake by plucking Marc Trestman out of the CFL to be the head coach of the Chicago Bears. By admitting that, though, the Bears general manager would be highlighting his own failings and placing a rather sizeable bulls-eye on his own back when it comes to any future employment prospects in the Windy City. For that reason and that reason alone, Trestman will likely get a third opportunity to try to resuscitate the Bears in an NFC North that is seemingly now the Green Bay Packers birthright. I dont think it ever has changed here. By all the key parties that youre thinking about, Trestman said after his teams latest loss, a 41-28 drubbing at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night. It has been tremendously supportive, during the good weeks and bad weeks. And it has been extremely consistent by everybody here. The only thing that people ask me here is what can they do to help, Trestman continued. And that comes from all areas of this building. What can we do to help you along? And that support has been very heartfelt. Things arent so heartfelt for defensive coordinator Mel Tucker, however. In the its-so-obvious-why-do-you-need-to-report-it department, NFL Media leaked the upcoming Bears narrative Sunday when they reported Tucker will likely be the one paying for the sins of those higher up on the food chain. The NFL Networks Ian Rapoport was the one claiming that the Bears will be terminating Tuckers deal at seasons end which is comparable to breaking the news that the sun will rise Monday. There are a number of issues with the Bears, who will be missing the postseason for the seventh time and eight years, but they start at the top where its always been about signing high-profile names in free agency and cost-cutting where you dont have a salary cap and can really make inroads, the coaching staff. That flawed philosophy is only magnified because the Packers, CChicagos most- heated rival, do things the opposite way, largely eschewing free agency in favor of the draft, while possessing one of the leagues most highly-regarded coaching staffs. Shane Lechler Texans Jersey. Its not like you should feel sorry for Tucker or that he has done a good job in Chicago, however. The Bears are 26th in total defense, allowing 377.8 yards per game and the team has given up more than 50 points on two different occasions. Theyve also been blown out five different times, the latest of which was Thursday in Soldier Field when the Cowboys blew into town. Whats unfair is the illogical belief in the Second City that the Bears are a talented but underachieving team because of all the high-profile names that dot the roster. Offensively you can at least make that argument because players like Brandon Marshall (before his injury on Thursday) and Jay Cutler can still perform at a high level, at least on occasion. Even thats nonsense of course because Cutler is orchestrating things and he is this generations Jeff George, a signal caller with elite arm talent but no leaderships skill to speak of and the body language of a pre-teen who hasnt gotten his way. Yet, Emery still signed him to a seven-year, $126.7 million extension this past offseason, with $54 million of that guaranteed. In Tuckers domain, observers who dont understand look at names like Jared Allen, Lance Briggs and Charles Tillman and assume they will always be the players they once were. In truth they were all descending talents coming into the 2014 season, far closer to the end of spectacular careers than the beginning. And when Tillman and then Briggs were lost to injury for yet another campaign, the floor fell out because depth is a major issue, something that again points toward Emery far more than Tucker or even Trestman. Moving forward by jettisoning Tucker is like putting a Band-Aid on a broken leg. Its simply not addressing the real problem for Chicago. And when Emery looks in that mirror, he knows it. The 29-year-old middleweight from New York City broke his toe in the first round against Brazils Thiago Santos on Saturday night. And things got more gruesome after that. The crowd at the Mandalay Bay Events Center first noticed the injury when the cameras zoomed in on the disfigured toe after the first round. There was an audible groan around the arena when it was shown on the big screens. Hall came out for the second round, with the top of the toe next to his big toe sticking up almost vertically. "I remember throwing a front kick and he blocked it but I didnt realize I had broken my toe," Hall said later. "I was putting it in my head that it wasnt broken but I kept looking down and seeing it. I tried to pop it back in after the round ended before the (Nevada State Athletic) Commission inspectors came over and saw it but they were too quick for me. "In the moment you just feel numb and luckily that pushes you on in the fight. But in between rounds it creeps into your mind that you should stop so Im very thankful for my coaches who kept my head in the game and supported me the whole way through. . . . In that third round I just thought to myself this is my time to prove to everyone that I have what it takes.. Corey Crawford Jersey. I left it all out there." The ringside physician spoke to Hall after the second round but let him finish. By the end of the fight, the dislodged bone had poked a hole through the skin. Hall (10-4) won by unanimous decision, admitting that he could feel the bone shifting in and out of his skin as the bout wore on. He limped out of the cage with his arm around a cornermans shoulder. His toe was pointed in a different direction. "It was a pretty nasty break," UFC president Dana White said by way of understatement. Hall was taken to hospital after the fight, tweeting pictures of medical staff at work put his toe back where it should be. He also tweeted an X-ray of the broken toe with the message: "If youre not going after your dreams, you just exist." He added the hashtag .toemuchtoohandle. Hall won rave reviews from White for his early performances on Season 17 of "The Ultimate Fighter." But he was beaten in the finale of the reality TV show and lost his first two fights in the UFC, leading White to question his mental toughness. "It was good to see him let his hand go tonight and fight through a broken toe," said White. "Hes back, I like it." The win was the second straight for Hall, following a first-round TKO of Chris (The Crippler) Leben. NFL Jerseys China cheap jerseys ' ' '

ATLANTA - Thats more like it, Tom Brady. Evgeny Svechnikov Red Wings Jersey Authentic . After struggling for three weeks to get in sync with his new receivers, Brady threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns in his best outing of the season for the unbeaten New England Patriots, who held off a furious Atlanta comeback to beat the Falcons 30-23 on Sunday night. New England improved to 4-0 for the first time since its near-perfect season in 2007. "We slugged it out," Brady said. "We came to Atlanta, which is a tough place to play and theyve got a very good team. Its nice to win and be 4-0." The Patriots built a 30-13 lead before the Falcons rallied. Atlanta had a chance to tie it up in the final minute, but Aqib Talib knocked away Matt Ryans fourth-down pass for Roddy White in the end zone with 36 seconds remaining. "Weve got to do a better job of finishing out the game," New England coach Bill Belichick said, "but we did a good job of putting ourselves in that position with a 17-point lead with 6 minutes to go in the game." The Patriots again played without star tight end Rob Gronkowski and receiver Danny Amendola, both left at home with injuries. But the Brady-led offence finally looked like itself after struggling a bit the first three games. New England seemed in control when LeGarrette Blount scored on a 47-yard run, and Brady threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to rookie Kenbrell Thompkins. Thompkins, an undrafted free agent, finished with six catches for 127 yards — nearly as much as the first three games of his career. "Hes an impressive young player," Brady said. "Its really rare to see that with a young player, to step in with confidence like that he has." Julian Edelman chipped in with 118 yards on seven receptions. "Were missing quite a few guys," Brady said, "so hopefully when we get them back, well be more efficient." Atlanta (1-3) dropped two games below .500 for the first time since 2007 despite a career night from Tony Gonzalez. He had 12 catches for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns. "You get what you earn in the NFL," coach Mike Smith said. "Weve earned a 1-3 record through the first quarter of the season. Thats what we are." New England led just 13-10 before a wild final period. Blount stunned the Georgia Dome crowd with his burst through a gaping hole, cutting outside and dragging defenders into the end zone. After Matt Bryants 45-yard field goal brought the Falcons to 20-13, Brady guided the Patriots on an 80-yard drive that took only five plays and barely 2 minutes. Edelman hauled in a 16-yard pass, followed by 44-yard reception that set up the touchdown throw to Thompkins in the left corner of the end zone, sending many of the Atlanta fans heading to the exits with nearly 10 minutes left. They nearly missed an epic comeback after Stephen Gostkowskis third field goal pushed the Patriots to their 17-point lead. Gonzalez hauled in an 11-yard touchdown pass, the Falcons recovered an onside kick, then drove for another field goal by Bryant. New England recovered a second onside kick, only to fumble a snap trying to convert on fourth down, turning it back over to the Falcons. Ryan completed a 49-yard pass to Julio Jones to put Atlanta in position to force overtime before a mostly empty stadium. The drive fell short, the Falcons bitten again by their season-long struggles in the red zone. Atlanta scored only one touchdown on six trips inside the 20. That included settling for a field goal on their first possession, when they had first-and-goal at the 6, and Smiths decision to go for it on fourth-and-2 from the 7. That failed when Ryan threw it behind White in the flats. "Were just not executing how we need to in the red zone," Smith said. "Were moving the ball well between the 20s. But were not ending with touchdowns. Youve got to score touchdowns in this league. Its an offensive league." New England got good production from its running game, especially on its first touchdown drive. Brady threw only twice on the 12-play, 75-yard possession, including a 1-yard touchdown pass to third-string tight end Matthew Mulligan. NOTES: Ryan completed 34 of 54 for 421 yards. ... The Falcons had won 14 in a row after losses. This is their first two-game losing streak since 2009. ... Atlanta, which faces the New York Jets in Week 5, has never lost three in a row under Smith. ... The Patriots rushed for 132 yards. Blount led with 64 yards on nine carries, while Ridley chipped in with 53 yards on 11 carries. ... In addition to breaking up Atlantas final pass, Talib also had an interception in the fourth quarter — his fourth of the season. Monaco is challenging fellow big-spender Paris Saint-Germain for the French title and needed to sign a striker to compensate for Colombia striker Radamel Falcaos long-term injury. Falcao is expected to miss the rest of the season after tearing a ligament in his left knee on Jan. 22. "Im happy, excited, and a little bit nervous to be honest," the 33-year-old Berbatov said. "Im looking forward to training with my new teammates and to open a new chapter in my career." Berbatov shone in spells for Manchester United, Tottenham and Fulham, scoring 94 league goals in 229 league games. Prior to that, he netted 69 goals in 154 league games for German side Bayer Leverkusen. He also scored 48 goals in 77 matches for Bulgaria before retiring from the national team. "Dimitar will bring us all his experience and talent. Of course, his arrival is connected to Falcaos injury," Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said. "Hes played in big clubs such as Manchester United and hes a great striker. We still have two competitions to play in and he will be an asset." Monaco also reinforced its defence by signing centre half Aymen Abdennour on loan from Toulouse until the end of the season, with an option to buy the Tunisia international. Ted Lindsay Red Wings Jersey. Lyons highly-rated midfielder Clement Grenier chose not to move to Newcastle, which is trying to replace Yohan Cabaye after selling him to Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday. Newcastle coach Alan Pardew had spoken about Grenier in glowing terms and the club was in advanced talks with Lyon. "Ive decided to stay with Lyon and, for me, the best place to be is Lyon," Grenier said Friday. "I had no intention of leaving this winter. We still have a lot of things we want to achieve, both collectively and individually -- with a view to the World Cup. Its the best thing for my personal improvement." There were also offers for striker Bafetimbi Gomis, who will be out of contract at the end of the season and who Aulas desperately tried to sell in August, while the player steadfastly refused to go. Marseille right back Rod Fanni also knocked back a chance to join Queens Park Rangers, which plays in Englands second-tier Championship, according to La Provence newspaper. Midfielder Joshua Guilavogui and former Bordeaux left back Benoit Tremoulinas joined Saint-Etienne on loan from Atletico Madrid and Dynamo Kyiv respectively. Saint-Etienne has an option to buy Tremoulinas for (euro)4 million ($5.4 million) at the end of the season. Wesley Saunders led the Crimson (27-4) with 12 points as Harvard proved last years upset of New Mexico as a 14 seed was no fluke. The Crimson became the first Ivy League school with NCAA tournament wins in consecutive years since Princeton in 1983-84. They will play either Michigan State or Delaware in the third round. Harvard never trailed after the opening moments. They played with confidence and scrap against the No. 5 seed Bearcats, who shared the American Athletic Conference regular season title. Sean Kilpatrick led seed Cincinnati (27-7) with 18 points, but the Bearcats failed to win a tournament game for the second straight year. There was a reason Harvard was a popular upset pick. Even President Barack Obama had the Crimson taking out the Bearcats. The reason: defence and balance. All five starters averaged in double figures for the season and that balance was needed against Cincinnatis aggressive defence. Laurent Rivard of Saint-Bruno, Que., the Crimsons three-point specialist, finished with 11 points -- including nine from long range -- and four rebounds. Steve Moundou-Missi and Brandyn Curry both scored nine. Harvard also improved to 15-0 this season when holding its opponent to 60 points or less. They entered the tournament with the 13th best scoring defence in the country. That defence helped overcome a shaky performance at the free throw line where Harvard was 17 of 28. Cincinnati had its chances. Justin Jackson finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds, but the Bearcats shot only 37 per cent and missed a number of shots around the rim. Harvard withstood the early second-half push from the Bearcats. Jacksons dunk while being fouled and subsequent free throw pulled Cincinnati within 42-39 and Titus Rubles driving layup later trimmed the margin to 45-43. The Crimson then forced turnovers on three straight Bearcats possessions. Saunders flipped in a driving finger roll to push the lead to five. As Harvard went to the bench for a timeout, Chambers grinned and coach Tommy Amaker pumped his fists in approval. Harvard was not going to be denied another moment. They got second and third chances at their own misses. They littered the floor scrounging for loose balls. Cincinnati went more than five minutes without scoring. But the Bearcats fought back and cut the lead to one before Chambers stepped up. He hit a pullup 17-footer with 1:57 left for a 56-53 lead. Kyle Casey then drew an offensive foul against Kilpatrick with 1:33 left. Chambers hit a trio of free throws in the final minute and Saunders sealed it hitting a pair with 11 seconds left, setting off the celebration. Josh Donaldson Blue Jays Jersey . Jennings scored all 20 of his points in the second half and handed out 11 assists while Monroe finished with 16 points and a season-high 17 rebounds for Detroit, winners in eight of nine since waiving Josh Smith. The Pistons won seven straight before falling to the Eastern Conference- leading Hawks 106-103 on Friday. Joe Johnson led six Nets in double figures with 17 points, while Brook Lopez contributed 11 points and 15 rebounds off the bench. Brooklyn has lost five in a row. The Pistons led by five after three quarters, but their lead was down to 84-82 following Darius Morris layup with 4 1/2 to play. Out of a timeout, transition layups by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jennings pushed the spread back to six. Jennings then hit a 3-pointer from the left corner, and after empty possessions both ways and a media timeout, Monroes layup with just under two minutes to play gave Detroit a 93-84 advantage. Alan Trammell Orioles Jersey. Jonas Jerebko then nailed the dagger a minute later, a top-of-the-key 3 at 1:10. The Pistons led for most of the first half, only trailing for one minute and 16 seconds in the second quarter, but never created much distance. Jennings scored 13 points in the third. Game Notes Lopez hit his first career regular-season 3-pointer with 16 seconds left ... The Nets had won three straight in this series ...
