Lewis Hamilton says he just could not complete the job after losing out on pole position in Germany to Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg.Hamilton held provisional pole early in Q3 but was beaten by Rosbergs one and only attempt late in the session, though he had a later attempt to beat his title rival to P1. After going purple through the first sector, Hamilton lost two tenths with a lock up at the hairpin, which was ultimately enough to cost him pole.Though Rosberg has been quicker throughout the weekend Hamilton thinks he had the pace to beat his teammate.Its been a good weekend, Hamilton said after qualifying.
