HAMILTON, Ont. T. J. Logan Jersey . -- Hamiltons offence was sputtering with a crucial piece lost to injury, but the Tiger-Cats defence held the Edmonton Eskimos at bay long enough for a comeback. After losing running back C.J. Gable at the start of the game, the Ticats forced three turnovers and Zach Collaros connected with Brandon Banks for the winning touchdown in the fourth quarter en route to a 25-23 at Tim Hortons Field on Saturday. "The defence was unbelievable," said Collaros, who finished the game 25 for 35 for 275 yards with one passing touchdown, one rushing touchdown and one interception. "I gave (Edmonton) a touchdown, and if you take that away, we win this pretty easily." Having just returned from the disabled list, Gable suffered a shoulder injury on the teams opening offensive series and did not return. The Ticats had not dressed a replacement. Hamilton head coach Kent Austin said the loss of an effective running option played havoc with his playbook, and forced offensive coordinator Tommy Condell to get creative. "That was one of the all-time top performances Ive ever seen from a playcaller," said Austin. "It had a cascading effect on our personnel groupings. We actually had to rename some of our groupings." The Tiger-Cats (4-7) held the Eskimos (8-4) to 316 total yards in the win. It was Hamiltons second consecutive win, and their third in four games. Hamilton has now won consecutive games against West Division opponents after beginning the season 0-6 against the West. Edmonton quarterback Mike Reilly was 23 for 42 for 268 yards with two touchdowns, two interceptions and a fumble. Eskimos head coach Chris Jones deemed the game winnable, but the execution just wasnt there. "Everything we could possibly have done to let them back into the game, we did," said Jones. "Defensively, it looked like we hadnt practised all week." Collaros dumped a short pass to Banks, who turned the corner and ran 42 yards for the touchdown that gave Hamilton a 24-16 lead. Defence ruled the first quarter as neither team got on the scoreboard and Hamilton held Edmonton to just 12 net yards of offence in the first 15 minutes. Hamilton marched the ball to Edmontons six-yard line as the quarter came to an end on a drive that included a 31-yard reception by Andy Fantuz, his longest of the season. But the Ticats were forced to settle for a Justin Medlock chip-shot field goal from 13 yards. Edmonton receiver Fred Stamps moved up to second in the Eskimos all-time receiving yards list with a 30-yard catch in the second quarter, passing Terry Vaughns previous mark of 7,681. After a 64-yard punt single got the Eskimos on the board, the visitors benefited from an undisciplined play by Ticats defensive back Delvin Breaux, who was flagged for a combination of unnecessary roughness and pass interference that netted 34 penalty yards and moved Edmonton to the Hamilton eight-yard line. Another penalty, this one to defensive end Eric Norwood, moved Edmonton to the four, and the Eskimos crossed the goal-line three plays later when Tyler Thomas hauled in a pass from Reilly in the flats. The Eskimos defence seized on the momentum and added to their lead on the Ticats ensuing drive, when Odell Willis popped the ball loose from the arms of Collaros and Alonzo Lawrence returned the fumble 16 yards for a touchdown to give Edmonton a 15-3 lead. Edmonton running back Kendial Lawrence left the game with a lower body injury in the second quarter and did not return. "We ran the tests at halftime, and he was showing concussion-like symptoms," Jones said of Lawrence. In a third quarter dominated by the defences, Hamiltons Rico Murray intercepted Reilly for his team-leading fourth pick of the season. It was the seventh interception the quarterback has thrown this year. The two teams combined for 11 sacks through three quarters. A crucial interception by Hamilton cornerback Courtney Stephen to open fourth quarter spurred a five-play, 40-yard touchdown drive that ended with a one-yard sneak by Collaros and gave the Ticats a 17-15 lead. After Banks winning touchdown at 12:20 of the fourth quarter, the Ticats added a single point on a punt single at 13:26. Reilly found Fred Stamps for a touchdown with six seconds remaining in the game. Antoine Bethea Jersey . Hamilton signed offensive linemen Mike Filer, Joel Reinders, Landon Rice and Carson Rockhill. Andy Lee Jersey . Top-seeded Djokovic swept to a 6-1, 6-3 win over 51st-ranked Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain in just 57 minutes, but fourth-seeded Federer had to see off a serious challenge from 48th-ranked Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic before coming through 6-2, 6-7 (4), 6-3. http://www.uscardinalslockroom.com/Black-Friday-Tyvon-Branch-Jersey/ . He just didnt expect them to be this good. Darrun Hilliard scored 19 points to lead No. 6 Villanova to a dominating 77-59 victory over Georgetown on Saturday, preserving the Wildcats hopes of a No.CHICAGO -- Brian Wilson wasnt about to blame anyone else. He pinned this loss right on himself. Chris Coghlan hit two homers, including the go-ahead two-run drive off Wilson in the eighth inning, and the Chicago Cubs rallied to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-7 on Saturday. The Dodgers were looking to build on a 3 1/2-game lead over San Francisco in the NL West after clinching a playoff spot for the fifth time in nine years on Friday. Instead, Los Angeles blew a five-run lead and wasted a pair of homers and five RBIs by Adrian Gonzalez. "Its all my fault," Wilson said. He had help, actually. The Dodgers were up 7-2 in the seventh but the bullpen couldnt hold the lead. J.P. Howell gave up an RBI single to Anthony Rizzo and a three-run homer to Arismendy Alcantara, making it a one-run game. Wilson (2-4) came on in the eighth and things just got worse from there. He gave up a leadoff single to light-hitting John Baker. Coghlan, who had four hits, put Chicago ahead 8-7 with a drive to right after Matt Szczur bunted into a force. "I have to accept the loss," Wilson said. "Im fine with that. Were not going home. We still clinched a playoff berth." Coghlans homer made a winner of Jason Grimm (5-2), who pitched a scoreless eighth. Hector Rondon worked the ninth for his 26th save in 30 chances. Coghlan hit a leadoff homer in the first and fell a triple shy of the cycle. He scored three runs and drove in three. Not bad considering he signed a minor league deal with the Cubs after being let go by Miami and got called up from Triple-A in early May. "I just feel blessed at the opportunity I have," said Coghlan, the 2009 NL Rookie of the Year with the Marlins. Gonzalez hit a two-run homer in the first. He added a three-run shot in the third, and the Dodgers scored four in that inning while chasing Felix Doubront. Yasiel Puig had a bunt single, a double and scored two runs for Los Angeles. He also made a divving catch in centre field and fired to second for a double play to end the fifth. Kareem Martin Jersey. Dee Gordon had two singles for his eighth straight multi-hit game and scored a run. But the late rally spoiled what was looking like an easy win. Los Angeles starter Roberto Hernandez lasted four-plus innings, allowing two runs and six hits. Doubront gave up six runs and six hits in 2 1-3 innings for Chicago. But it all added up to a rough afternoon for the Dodgers in the end. Theyre eyeing a big run and they took one important step by locking up a playoff spot. A wild card simply wont do. "Its not what were looking for," Gonzalez said. TRAINERS ROOM Dodgers: LHP Hyun-Jin Ryu (shoulder inflammation) played catch before the game and will likely throw again Sunday, manager Don Mattingly said. He was removed from his start Sept. 12 at San Francisco after just one inning, and had a cortisone shot on Monday. ... The Dodgers held 3B Juan Uribe out of the lineup because of nagging groin problem. He is expected to play Sunday. Cubs: C Welington Castillo was out of the lineup after getting hit by a foul ball and leaving Fridays game with a bruised left rib. X-rays showed no structural damage. UP NEXT The Dodgers decided to push RHP Dan Harens start back a day and have him go Monday against San Francisco. Instead, reliever Jamey Wright (5-4, 4.30 ERA) will make his first start of the season, with RHP Jacob Turner (5-10, 6.20) pitching for Chicago. HE SAID IT Manager Don Mattingly when asked if he would have Clayton Kershaw pitch out of the bullpen rather than throw on the side Sunday if the Dodgers push Haren back a day: "You guys trying to get rid of me?" ONE MORE START FOR JACKSON? Chicagos Edwin Jackson still is penciled in to start at Milwaukee next weekend after getting hit hard Friday, although manager Rick Renteria said that remains up in the air. RHP Eric Jokisch is a candidate to start in his place. China Jerseys Stitched Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Jerseys China NFL Jerseys China Jerseys Wholesale China Jerseys ' ' '
