The hamstring injury is the latest injury setback for the 27-year-old. A third-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010, Moeaki showed promise as a rookie by catching 47 passes for 556 yards and three touchdowns. But he missed the 2011 season due to a torn ACL and was waived by Kansas City in 2013 after fracturing his shoulder. Moeaki has been pushing incumbent Scott Chandler for the starting tight end job at training camp.
