Beauchemin that has fueled

INDIANAPOLIS - Colts coach Chuck Pagano has an explanation for Reggie Waynes recent struggles — the six-time Pro Bowler has been playing with a torn left triceps. Erick Pulgar Jersey .Until Sunday, Indianapolis had only acknowledged Wayne had injured his left elbow Oct. 19 against Cincinnati. But after beating Cleveland 25-24, Pagano inadvertently mentioned on Sundays postgame radio show that Wayne had been battling an assortment of injuries including a torn tri before stopping in mid-sentence.You know what, he battles every week, coming back from the knee, the elbow, a lot of nagging stuff thats difficult for anybody to deal with, Pagano said Monday after acknowledging the two arm injuries were connected.Theres something there because we know the player Reggie is and how he contributes and how he can make the clutch catch and all those things.Clearly, Wayne hasnt been 100 per cent.Since sitting out against Pittsburgh on Oct. 26, Wayne has only 17 receptions for 207 yards and one touchdown in five games. Two of the past three games have been especially difficult.Wayne was targeted eight times Sunday and dropped three. He finished with one catch for 5 yards, ending an NFL record streak of 82 consecutive games with three or more receptions, though he did run the key rub route that led to Andrew Lucks winning touchdown pass to T.Y. Hilton. Two weeks earlier, in a win over Jacksonville, Luck threw two short passes to Wayne in the waning minutes to keep the reception streak alive. After Wayne got his third reception, Luck started going to his knee. With his contract about to expire, Waynes declining productivity has led to speculation about the future of a 36-year-old receiver who missed the last nine regular-season games in 2013 with a torn ACL in his right knee.Through the years, Wayne has been the model of consistency. He had seven straight 1,000-yard seasons, topped the 100-catch mark three times in four years and is tied with Peyton Manning for most games (20 and most wins (141) in franchise history. Wayne could break those records if he plays in Sundays regular season home finale.Indy (9-4) also can clinch its second straight AFC South title with a win over Houston (7-6) this weekend. But Pagano isnt giving away his plans yet.Well do whatever gives us the best chance to win and obviously, whats best for the player, he said. Not disclosing accurate injury information can be a violation of league rules.Late last week, NFL officials said they would look into the reasoning behind omitting Dallas quarterback Tony Romos injured ribs from the weekly report. The league has not commented on it since then, and coach Jason Garrett said Monday he believes it is a non-issue and has not heard back from the league.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL___AP Sports Writer Schuyler Dixon in Dallas also contributed to this report. Charles Aranguiz Chile Jersey .com) - The Chicago White Sox and outfielder Melky Cabrera have reportedly agreed to a three-year contract. Johnny Herrera Chile Jersey . Who are some of the funniest teammates youve played with? Hartnell was pretty funny. Matt Greene, when I was in L.A. he was really funny it was comical. http://www.soccerauthentic.com/fc-barcelona-marc-andre-ter-stegen-jersey/ . -- A horse with a humble pedigree. Each week, the NHL on TSN panel voices its opinions on the hot topics of the day in the Wednesday Night Hockey Quiz. Which hashtag best sums up Phil Kessels extraordinary storyline: #LastPickTopScorer, #CriticsBeDamned, #WhosLaughingNowOV or #AmericanBeauty? Aaron Ward: Ill go with #CriticsBeDamned. I include myself in the category of guys who dissected Phil Kessel top to bottom for his perceived lack of grit and for his need for consistency. Hes had to put up and weve had to shut up. Not only is he leading the league in scoring, but right now hes averaging plus-twenty minutes per game and hes a plus player. Bob McKenzie: # WhosLaughingNowOV. When Alexander Ovechkin did what he did to Kessel it was all in good fun. As well, Kessel took it that way. But guess what? Everyones got a sense of humour but the hockey gods have a sense of humour too. Phil Kessel is arguably one of the very top players in the NHL and Alexander Ovechkin is struggling to find his game. Whos laughing now? Marc Crawford: Im going to take #AmericanBeauty. I think Phil Kessels been great since day one. His skating has been terrific and hes hitting the holes. Everybody knows about his great shot off the wing, but the fact that hes hitting the holes and hes playing with players that speed at centre; whether its been Tyler Bozak or Tim Connelly. And how about how much hes improved the game of Joffrey Lupul? Its always nice when you play well but when you have your teammates playing well because of your play, thats a real complement to Kessel as well. If you were Brian Burke, would you extend Ron Wilsons contract right now? Crawford: Yes! Absolutely! Hes done everything for them; hes great in the media - which is underrated in Toronto - and hes made the team faster, allowing them to play a system where they have speed and support and thats where the games at. I say absolutely yes. Ward: Yes, I say you signing him. Its an endorsement of what hes doing; hes accomplishing a lot, hes winning and maintaining that atmosphere. It also serves to keep that continuity in the locker room and its that mentality that Toronto has right now. McKenzie: I would say no. You didnt want to sign him in the summer to an extension and were one-quarter of the way through the season. Why not let things unfold and see where everything shakes out. You dont know whhere the team is going to be or where Wilsons going to be three or four months from now. Enzo Roco Jersey. If youre going to let a guy hang in the wind, let him hang in the wind until you know whether youre going to make the playoffs or not. What has most made this a Movember to Remember: Crosbys return, Anaheims collapse, Bostons resurgence or Gino Redas return? McKenzie: Ill go with Crosbys return. Hes been very good, averaging two points per game and playing the game with a lot of passion. The National Hockey League is better for having Sidney Crosby back, so for me thats the Movember to Remember. Ward: I would go with Bostons resurgence. After a disastrous start, we would probably find more confidence at a Stuart Smalley convention (for the kids out there, just You Tube it under Saturday Night Live skits). They have recaptured that swagger and theyve got their identity back, playing with a high level of confidence. Theyre showing no signs of slowing down. Crawford: I would say Crosbys return. I was there when he came back the first night and I saw the excitement in the stands. I also saw veteran reporters, people that have covered the league for years, and the impact he had on those people was measurable and certainly were a better league because hes back in it. Who is the frontrunner for GM of the Year: Brian Burke, Peter Chiarelli, Don Maloney or Dale Tallon? Ward: I like Maloney. To say that his team is third and not follow the word third without last is an accomplishment in his own right. Hes restricted by finances and circumstances; so many things he has to overcome. McKenzie: Ill say Brian Burke. A year ago this time, everybody was piling on him because the Kessel deal didnt look that good. The Kessel deal looks a lot better right now but its really the Francois Beauchemin that has fueled the Leafs. Joffrey Lupuls been exceptional and Jake Gardiner has been exceptional. They mitigated any damages on the Kessel deal by dealing Tomas Kaberle to get Joe Colborne, who looks like he may be the big centre theyre looking for. Crawford: All healthy candidates but Im going to choose Dale Tallon in Florida. If not for Tallon right now, we might be talking about Florida in terms of going somewhere else. Hes brought in Kevin Dineen, along with Craig Ramsay. Brian Campbell is having a great year and up front, Kris Versteeg - a castoff of the Maple Leafs - is in the Top 10 in scoring. Theyve been terrific in Florida and Dale Tallon deserves a lot of the credit.
