Bischoff proceeds to book AJ Styles versus Tomko for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship as he needed a main event for the show.
Jeremy Borash knocks on Eric Bischoff?s door and enters the room. Bischoff is on the phone talking to someone who has a bright future in TNA. Borash talks about Mick Foley and wants to know where Foley is tonight. Bischoff says what happened to Foley is on Borash because Borash let Foley into the building. Bischoff repeats that what happened to Foley is Borash?s responsibility. Bischoff suggests that Borash go look for Foley. Bischoff also tells Borash that if he does something to mess his show up again, he will be gone from TNA. Beer Money Inc. enter the office and tell Bischoff that they have a problem with Bischoff?s boys. They want Scott Hall and Kevin Nash at Genesis this Sunday on pay per view. Morley mentions he made his money in a different type of TNA. Morley says that he is a new man. He is a producer and a director of some great films. He says that TNA was poised to ?explode?. Morley says that TNA was missing one thing to get into that next level? that being a film division. ?TNA presents a Sean Morley production? picture that. Morley says his films will be ?works of art?. They will not be direct to DVD type of deal. Daniels cuts Morley off and heads to the ring with a big smile on his face. Daniels shakes Morley?s hand. Daniels welcomes Morley to ?the new day in TNA?. Daniels loves the idea that Morley just mentioned. Daniels wants to pitch a idea to Morley. The pitch includes a hero who takes on a fast talking villain. Daniels says the best part is when the sleaze bag ends up in the gutter where he belongs. Daniels clotheslines Morley down and drives Morley down with a STO and connects with the Best Moonsault Ever. Daniels stands over Morley and says that Morley will not bring art into this company. Daniels tells Morley he offends him and that every word Morley says is trash. Daniels says he wasn?t fired from this company for a guy like Morley. Morley eventually gets up and blocks a right hand to clothesline Daniels over the top to the floor. Morley wants Daniels back in the ring. Why did he clothesline him to the floor then? Oh well.

Wolfe with a arm drag and a super kick along with a spinning neck breaker, I believe. Running uppercut by Wolfe. Wolfe stops Joe on the top turnbuckle and attempts the Tower of London but Joe goes for the choke. Wolfe manages to fight out and hits the Tower of London as Joe was elevated on the top. Bischoff stops Jarrett and says that he is sick of Jarrett talking about his company. Bischoff says that TNA would have been out of business in three weeks if it wasn?t for Dixie Carter. Bischoff says that Jarrett has conned everyone in the company. Bischoff says the company will turn around because of himself and Hulk Hogan and not Jarrett. Bischoff tells Jarrett to leave or lace up his boots. Jarrett asks if Hogan is going to just sit behind a desk. Hogan says that he was hired to run the company, but nothing was said about kicking his hillbilly ass. Jarrett backs off and leaves the room. Bischoff says that Jarrett needs an Attitude Adjustment.

Angle is out to prove he is still the best. Styles says this is the PPV to see in all of 2010 because of the title match. Video ends with Angle staring at Styles in the middle of the ring.
End of show
NOTE: Right after the show, Mick Foley hosts TNA Epics. To think people on Impact where wondering where Foley was throughout the show. Thought that was kind of funny.
My Take: Opening contest was very fast and had zero rest holds. A good start in terms of wrestling for the show. The match wasn?t more than five minutes long, but was a decent encounter. Jeremy is very quick and was impressive with how quickly he can go from move to move.
I?m thinking that the Nasty Boys/Team 3-D feud is centering around the Nasty Boys being in Team 3-D?s locker room and being childish. Nasty Boys are coming across as jokes in my opinion and not the feared tag team they were back when they were somewhat feared or entertaining. The storyline just comes across stupid to me and pointless.
Angle/Styles segment was alright for what it was. I do not see Kurt Angle going the whole year without getting a title shot. I would think that he may win just based on the stipulation.
Glad to see Angelina Love back and as a baby face. I can only assume she will be the Knockouts Champion soon.
I don?t care about Sean Morley. I actually haven?t cared about him since I?d say 1999. I really, really hope that Daniels doesn?t end up jobbing to Morley. Daniels is a star waiting to break out and he can?t afford to lose to people that the fans mostly do not care for.
Beer Money Inc vs. Scott Hall/Kevin Nash would have been good.. If Hall and Nash were fifteen years younger. Nash looks like he can hardly move in the ring. I don?t know who would want to pay to see that.
I like the clean win for Desmond Wolfe over Samoa Joe. Now, Wolfe taking on Dinero at Genesis gives that a important feel to it. Looks like TNA is developing some top tier talent in Wolfe and Dinero. I like the sounds of that, for sure.
Nice to see Jarrett cut the promo he was suppose to cut last week, this week. The promo makes a lot of sense and I would hope makes Jarrett a heel. Jarrett, in my opinion is a far better heel than a baby face.
The main event this week was very bland, I thought. I thought it was interesting to reveal Tomko as the attacker this week and already have videos of Tomko saying why he did it. I would have revealed Tomko next week and have their match the week after that. That whole feud seemed to be rushed as three weeks of things happened in the matter of forty five minutes.
Overall: Good opener, but the show in terms of wresting went down as the show continued. Also, way too much of ?The Band?. This is starting to feel like WCW 1997, and that is not a good thing.
