FIVE QUICK NBA THOUGHTS: 1. Nike Roshe Run Herren . DEMAR DEROZAN (Raptors): Hopefully, hes back sooner rather than later. Hell be missed by his team - obviously. Hes such a competitor. After getting hurt the other night, he kept trying to play on his injured foot. He loves the game and Im so impressed with his progress over the years. DeRozan is a mature and serious young man. There is a reason above and beyond his physical ability why hes a good player; he has worked incredibly hard on his skills, his strength and conditioning and is a student of the game. It would be nice to see him make the All Star game. In the meantime, Raptors really need to buckle down defensively and find scoring and consistency in other areas, could be a challenge. Big one tonight here in New York City vs. the red hot Nets. 2. SHAUN LIVINGSTON (Nets): When you watch the Raptors tonight it is always nice to see a guy who has fought back from a devastating injury to have success. When he was a young player with the Clippers, Livingston had a chance to be a special player in this league and then it all got derailed. He has made a difference with Brooklyn, being a sound defender who sets the tone for his team. In the absence of Deron Williams, his leadership was critical for Coach Jason Kidd turning this team around. Not a flashy player yet his smarts, toughness and consistency are a big part why the Nets are surging right now. 3. SPENCER HAWES (Sixers): Hawes has really developed in the past few years into a steady Post player. His rebounding instincts are solid while his back to the basket game has improved. He is also a capable face up shooter. He passes the ball quite well from both the low and high post and is a good fit in a teams attack. When I saw him as a young player at the University of Washington and when he was on the Sacramento Kings, I didnt envision him to have this upside. Hes really carved out a nice niche in Philly. 4. JAMAAL CRAWFORD (Clippers): Raptor fans got to see first-hand why Crawford is probably the best sixth-man in the NBA right now. He dropped 37 points on them, but more importantly he had an amazing 11 assists as well. What a luxury for Doc Rivers brining him off the bench. He changes the game completely when he comes in. You better check him from behind the three-point arc and his dribble moves are tantalizing. Hes bounced around a lot and Ive never understood why - hes always been a good player. Clips are lucky to have him. Hell steal a playoff game or two for them. 5. AL JEFFERSON (Bobcats): Sure, they spent above market value to get Jefferson but in a market like Charlotte, which has had a rough go of it lately, you have to acquire talent somehow. Hes been a good player for them. 19 points per game and 10-plus rebounds per games as well, while shooting 48 % has really helped their team. Hes in terrific shape and has been quite engaged in the rebuilding process. He plays with a terrific front court partner in Josh McRoberts, who does all the little things while Jefferson racks up the points and boards. If the Bobcats add perimeter shooting, (theyre awful in those categories -bottom eight in field goal and three-point field goal percentage) it will really open things up for their team in future years. You can never have enough shot makers. Nike Roshe Run Damen Günstig . - The CJ2K era is over in Tennessee, just the latest step by the Titans in their franchise makeover. Nike Free 3.0 Damen Sale . The Kandahar course has been modified slightly to return to its original design but the 30-year-old from Mont-Tremblant, Que., Guay still had the fastest time of one minute 57.08 seconds. Adrian Theaux was second to lead three Frenchmen in the top 10 by covering the 3,256-metre course in 1:57. http://www.2015nikefreesch.com/ . Kerr shot a four-under 66 for a second consecutive day, while Park carded a five-under 65, leaving both tied for top spot after two rounds at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club. Both were 8-under 132 in a day of golf under slightly overcast skies with gentle winds.SAN FRANCISCO - For Cliff Lee it was just another game, another win that will help his team reach the post-season. There was no revenge factor, no statements. Lee threw a seven-hitter, Hunter Pence and John Mayberry hit back-to-back home runs and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the San Francisco Giants 3-0 Thursday night. Lee (11-7) was commanding in his first regular season start against the Giants in two years, striking out eight, including Cody Ross four times, and not walking a hitter. He set down 10 in a row at one point in his major league-leading fifth shutout this season. "Thats probably the best game Ive had as far as commanding the ball," Lee said. "I was getting ahead of the hitters and staying away from the middle of the plate. I felt like I could throw any pitch at any time to any location." It was also some revenge for Lee, who lost twice to the Giants in last years World Series pitching for the Texas Rangers. "Thats in the past," Lee said. "We just want to win every series. Getting the first game means youre in better shape. Its August, still the middle of the season. We want to stay in a groove and keep winning." Pence had three hits and drove in two runs and is hitting .360 (9 for 25) since joining the Phillies. "He has come in and fit in nicely," Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard said. "He gives us energy and intensity. Hes been great for our team." Madison Bumgarner, a post-season hero for the Giants, recovered after allowing two long balls in a game for just the second time this year and the first since June 15. Bumgarner (6-11) retired 13 of 14 following Mayberrys blast. He went eight innings, allowing six hits, walking two and striking out nine. "The game was all about pitching and good defence on both sides," Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said. "After the two home runs Bumgarner was really good." The Phillies, who have won seven straight since losing two in a row to the Giants in Philadelphia, remain undefeated since acquiring Pence, who homered in a Phillies uniform for the first time. Pence ended a 19-game, 67-at bat homerless drought when he connected on Bumgarners first pitch in the second inning. "Any time you can pick up a player like Pence youre going to be a bbetter ball club," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. New Balance 574 Kinderschuhe. "He helps balance their lineup. They got the player they were looking for." Bumgarner allowed the first three Phillies to reach in the first, but Jimmy Rollins was thrown out trying to steal third by Chris Stewart and Howard lined into a 5-6 double play. "Lee doesnt need many runs as good as he is," Bumgarner said. "That second inning cost me I guess. The way he was throwing he looked like he could throw about 14 innings out there." The Phillies never had more than one runner on in an inning the rest of the way. Lee, who threw the 10th shutout of his career, made it all academic, needing just 74 pitches to get through the first seven innings and 106 overall. He sent the Giants to their sixth loss in seven games, slicing a half-game off their NL West lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks, who open a three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. "Ive never seen him off, even on TV," Giants shortstop Orlando Cabrera said. "He doesnt use his curveball much. His fastball command is spectacular. His cutter has just got better. Really sharp." Pence added an RBI single in the ninth against Santiago Casilla. NOTES: Giants IF Mark DeRosa was activated from the 60-day DL.
